The inspiring devotion and passion of our CSArts-SGV community has not gone unnoticed. We could not be more proud of the many successes of our students, teachers, and staff, and we are thrilled to see what else we can all accomplish together as a CSArts-SGV family this school year. It is our rst year together as joint principals, and there are so many other rsts on this season’s horizon that we are excited to be a part of, including welcoming our very rst group of sixth grade students to CSArts-SGV!
Sincerely,
Stephen Cook, D.M.A. Principal of Arts
Nicole Read Principal of Academics
Of course, all of these incredible accomplishments could not be achieved without the support of our community. We would like to express our gratitude to our 2024-2025 Season Sponsors, Edison International and Max H. Gluck Foundation, as well as to our Board of Trustees, Foundation Board of Directors, President’s Circle, Encore, and Family Action Network members. Their continued support, leadership, and vision help to shape the lives of our students each and every day. Additionally, we would like to express our appreciation to the Duarte Unified School District (DUSD), the DUSD Board of Education, and the City of Duarte Council Members, whose continued partnership is vital to the mission of CSArts-SGV.
Finally, we must honor our parents, alumni, administrators, faculty and staff, members of the local community, and most importantly, our student artists. Our students are the inspiration and driving force behind everything that we do.
We are thrilled to have you join us in celebrating another impressive performance season at CSArts-SGV. Sit back and enjoy as our students Shine Brightly!
WE PROVIDE AN UNPARALLELED ARTS AND ACADEMIC EDUCATION IN A CREATIVE, CHALLENGING, AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT TO A DIVERSE GROUP OF STUDENTS WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT THE ARTS, PREPARING THEM TO REACH THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL.

At CSArts, Makenna has appeared in Floyd Collins, John Proctor is the Villain, and A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum. She is so excited to perform alongside her best friend, Pfeiffer Stratford, and to collaborate with the one and only Christina Harris again! She would like to thank her parents and her friends for coming to watch this hilarious show!
Playing Mortimer Brewster
Parker is happy and thankful to be a part of this show! Having worked with Christina Harris in his very first show, The 39 Steps, this is a full circle moment for Parker, who will graduate this year. Parker also appeared as Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He’d like to thank Ms. Harris for trusting him with Mortimer!
Playing Mr. Gibbs / OfFIcer
Lucian began performing when he was six, appearing as Thing 2 in Seussical. Favorite roles since then include Mike TV in Willy Wonka, Kenickie in Grease, the Prince in Beauty and the Beast, and Troy in High School Musical. Lucian sings in the choir at All Saints Church and plays several instruments. Arsenic and Old Lace is his CSArts debut!
Playing Jonathan Brewster
Some of the most influential shows that Lach has been in have been The 39 Steps (Ensemble), Jack the Musical (Nixon) and Ride the Cyclone (Karnak). He appreciates his family’s support of his theater work and the productions he has been a part of. He is looking forward to attending Pasadena City College to obtain his EMT training and certification: he hopes to one day become a Paramedic.
Playing Dr. Einstein
Arsenic and Old Lace marks Danny’s eighth production at CSArts. Their favorite roles have been Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mr. McGarrigle in The Thirty-Nine Steps. They have also appeared in many of the films on the CSArts Film Club’s YouTube Channel. They want to thank their family for always being very supportive and their friends for being real ones!
Playing ofFicer O'Hara

Playing Lieutenant Rooney
Sevan is new to the Acting Conservatory this year, having previously studied both Creative Writing and Visual Arts. He’s happy to be a part of Arsenic and Old Lace! After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Business/ Finance. He’d like to thank his Mom and Dad for all that they’ve sacrificed.
Playing Ms. Witherspoon / Assistant Director
Emma is excited to perform in her third show here at CSArts. This is her Assistant Director debut and she is so proud of the hard work the cast has put into this production. Thank you to everyone that has made this experience special!
Previously, Alique has primarily worked in costuming, but wanted to take on stage management for her “last first” show. She is extremely honored to be working with such a talented cast and crew! Her advice: Enjoy this amazing show… just don’t drink the wine!

Light Board Operator
Octavia is excited to be back in the booth for the first time in a year! She last ran the Light Board on The Fantasticks at Sierra Madre Playhouse. Light Board was the very thing that got her excited about Production & Design, so she puts her all into it.
Josiah enjoys working on shows and getting to meet other crew members. He has previously worked on two other productions, but Arsenic and Old Lace is his first show in the PAC. He’s really excited to be here for it!
Charlotte is proud to be a part of Arsenic and Old Lace, after having been a part of the crews for The Drowsy Chaperone and Bat Boy. She is very excited to work this show and watch the antics unfold!
Mordie is grateful to have the chance to work with this wonderful cast and crew! They have worked hair and makeup on past shows, including The Fantasticks and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and hope to one day go into the field of SFX makeup. For now, Mordie continues to work diligently in the shadows as a crew member/Batman.
Sydney is very excited to be working on Arsenic and Old Lace! Outside of school, Sidney spends her time as a competitive gymnast.
Bo is a junior, pursuing the makeup and costuming track. Their favorite crew role is wardrobe, where they enjoy sewing and constructing costumes. Previous crew credits include Bat Boy, Mean Girls, and Ride the Cyclone
Natalie has worked on the Acting fall play for three years running. Her favorite part of being on crew is doing good work and bonding with people she wouldn’t meet otherwise. She designed and built all the prosthetics for Bat Boy, and she has worked on countless other shows. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support.
Sadie is thrilled to be a part of this production of Arsenic and Old Lace! This marks her debut production as she is new to CSArts this year, and she couldn’t be more excited to start her P&D journey. She’s looking forward to gaining more experience in the field of production and design.
