Hydrogen Generation Process via Power to Gas Energy Storage Hydrogen is produced using electrolysis process in which water is split into its constituent parts. It means Splitting Components of Water (H2O) into Hydrogen Gas (H2) and Oxygen (O). When Electricity passes through electrolyzer the water releases both Hydrogen and Oxygen. The Oxygen is normally discharged into the climate but hydrogen can be captured and blended with natural gas & stored in a pipeline system. In this way, hydrogen is produced and this generated hydrogen is easy to store. They can be transformed into electricity, or used as a fuel for hybrid cars, or converted into natural gas like methane.
