WELCOME TO THE ELEVENTH annual Cornerstone Gala. I can’t thank you enough for being here this evening to partner with us to make an outstanding Christian education possible for hundreds of RCS students.

If you have ever attended a fourth-grade Wax Museum or a sixth-grade Country Report Fair, you’ve seen the creative teaching of our History Department. It spans all three campuses engagingly helping our students learn the rich history of our nation and world. History comes alive when our juniors dissect a song from the 60s in their Cold War Karaoke assignment, understanding the culture, challenges, and emotions of that time. Our seventh-graders learn about leaders whose faith in God has influenced the world today when they dive into the history of figures like Martin Luther King, Jr. or Dietrich Bonhoeffer in their Christianity in History projects. It’s learning opportunities like these that bring the pages of our history books to life for our students to inspire them to learn from the past and reach for the stars. We salute that this evening.

We remain committed to the mission and vision that have carried us through the past 103 years. With more than 1,410 students in our preschool through upper school program, RCS is the leading Christian school in the Inland Empire. We want to see our students graduate to make a difference in the world — educated for wisdom, prepared to lead, and strengthened in their faith.

Your generosity directly supports our need-based tuition assistance fund, which benefits more than 42 percent of our students. With God’s blessing, we want to strengthen our school culture, develop excellent programs, and ensure a stable Christian foundation as we move forward. Thank you for helping us to make that happen.
