magine you are running in a race for your life. You have tripped and have fallen behind. It appears as though all is lost. But all of a sudden the referee blows the whistle and says, “False start! We are going to start the race over again.” That is what a new beginning feels like! And that is what we are experiencing at the Crystal Cathedral…a new beginning…we are liberated…free…to run the race before us! What is the race before us at Crystal Cathedral? It is to proclaim in words and works the message, “God loves you and so do I!” We will do this in the following ways, as we: GROW our international televised ministry, the Hour of Power, reaching out to include a younger demographic so that this positive message of Jesus Christ will live on through generation after generation. EVOLVE our current televised Hour of Power format so that it becomes more visible and accessible on the Internet and though other media platforms. BUILD a humanitarian track that demonstrates to those with the greatest need that God has not forgotten them, but He loves them. We’ll accomplish this, in part, through: 1) Launching a Dream Center (Los Angeles) satellite here on our campus—we call it Hope Center, where people living on the streets, under bridges—men, women, and yes, children— can find hope and begin to dream again! 2) Building and delivering more houses for homeless families in Mexico—six a year. 3) Planting Christian schools around the world in pockets of high illiteracy. TACKLE cyber bullying through our New Hope Online that is targeted at teens around the world who have lost all hope and are at the point of taking their own lives. We have an exciting race that we are going to run here at Crystal Cathedral. And we will complete it with God’s help. Thank you for running alongside!
