Start of a Legacy: Rosary Rallies in Colombia!

n active Rally Captain for many years, Ruby Galatolo of Ocala, Florida, knew she wanted to hold a Rosary Rally during her travels in Colombia, and packed a Spanish America Need Fatima banner in her suitcase. One morning, Ruby was inspired to take the banner to daily Mass and asked the priest to announce that a public Rosary would be said following the liturgy. Twenty-five people joined Ruby and her family for a Rosary procession from the church, to the busy corner of a street. Enthused by Ruby’s devotion, for three consecutive days after daily Mass, a group gathered to pray and process. People would see the procession and suddenly join in from the street, many blessing themselves or mumbling the Rosary while they passed. “You never know how you can be an instrument of Our Lady in saving a soul,” said Ruby, “public witness can penetrate a soul more than we will ever know!”

ith temperatures peaking 100 degrees, 30 to 40 faithful Catholics stood in prayerful protest on Saturday, June 29, 2019, outside Severna Park Community Library in Severna Park, Maryland. The library was hosting not one, but two back-to-back Drag Queen Story Hour events that day. In reparation and opposition, Rally Captain Richard LeBoeuf of Catonsville, Maryland, spearheaded two public square Rosary rallies in response to these events. “It’s important that people realize that these [DQSH] are evil,” Richard said. “Those of us who realize this aren’t going to sit back without saying something against it,” he continued.
