Few things connect us to a particular time and place like cuisine. New flavours and intoxicating aromas from far-off lands can instantly transport us to a wonderful memory. They can enliven our spirits with passion as we experience new things and expand our palates. It’s why we take pride in creating dining experiences that are so exquisite: nothing can elevate travel like cuisine.
Take in the bouquet and savour the notes of an expertly paired glass of wine provided by the head sommelier and bite into a perfectly aged and prepared filet mignon at Prime 7. Set sail aboard the resplendent Seven Seas Splendor® in November 2024 when she cruises from Lisbon to Cape Town, pausing in the bucolic Canary Islands before calling on coastal highlights of West Africa in Senegal, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Namibia. Known as a gateway to the traditions and culture of Zululand, the port city of Richards Bay along the north-eastern coast of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province is rich with opportunities to experience legendary African wildlife and unspoiled coastal splendour. Go on a game drive in renowned Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park to see elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo and leopards, perhaps gaining a glimpse of the park’s star residents, white rhinos. Feel the beat of traditional drums and experience living history in a pair of cultural villages, Shakaland and DumaZulu, which recreate the 19th-century era of King Shaka and paint a vivid picture of the Zulu nation’s contributions to modern African society.
Immense. Untamed. Majestic. Epic – all these words describe Alaska perfectly. When its legendary coastline appears on the horizon, however, and we’re standing with others to take in the spectacle, a single word captures what we collectively feel: Humbled.
Here at the ‘Last Frontier,’ wilderness knows no bounds and your sense of adventure runs free. From mid-May to mid-September 2024, sail aboard Seven Seas Explorer® to experience Alaska’s green season, when temperatures turn mild, rivers fill with spawning salmon and wildlife are on the move. Take in the splendour of Seward’s Resurrection Bay fjord, your eyes on the water for sea otters, orcas and whales and in the air for puffins, loons and eagles. Cruising peaceful Disenchantment Bay, prepare for the thrilling crack of Hubbard Glacier calving into a suddenly roiled sea. Discover why Sitka was known as the ‘Paris of the Pacific’ while a guide helps you scan the forest’s edge for brown bears and black-tailed deer. After watching for humpback whales aboard a jet-powered catamaran in Juneau’s Auke Bay, discuss the day’s breathtaking sights over local craft brews and a classic Alaskan meal of salmon grilled over a fragrant fire.
Breathe in the air of pure wilderness from your private balcony aboard the most luxurious ship in Alaskan waters and know you’re indelibly connected to this humbling corner of the world. And perhaps dream of your return.

SITKA,
Snuggled between a mountain range known as the Three Sisters and Sitka Sound, this small town’s natural beauty is nothing short of epic. In the shadow of snow-capped Mount Edgecumbe, Sitka also boasts wonderfully preserved history and a thriving arts community. Founded by fur traders as New Archangel in 1799, Sitka was acquired by the United States of America as the Alaska territory in 1867. Explore the onion-shaped domes and gold-coloured crosses of St. Michael’s Cathedral, a picturesque remnant of Sitka’s heritage. After absorbing centuries of history at the Sitka History Museum, stroll among downtown’s numerous art galleries, shops and restaurants, perhaps stopping for a locally made craft beer. Beneath a canopy of towering hemlock, spruce and cedar trees, behold the 18 totems carved by Tlingit and Haida artists along the remarkable Totem Trail in Sitka National Historical Park.
For over a century, Juneau’s stunning views and abundant wildlife, such as bears, bald eagles and deer, have attracted tourists. Today, Juneau offers a variety of ways to absorb the surrounding wilderness and historic landmarks. Take a guided tour of the most renowned local attraction, the world-famous Mendenhall Glacier. The visitor centre offers a panoramic view of the glacier, as well as a short film and interactive videos providing you with new perspectives of this natural wonder. Continue your Alaskan journey via a rafting adventure down the Mendenhall River.

Vibrant cities juxtaposed by beautiful countrysides. Bustling markets with iridescent reds, greens and yellows of fresh produce, followed by the night-time-neon fireworks of pulsing downtowns. Where the contrasting places can feel so familiar yet foreign at the time; Asia promises no shortage of intrigue and discovery.
As travellers, we are connected by a distinct outlook. One that declares the more intriguingly foreign a place, the more it demands exploring. Befuddling to some, but a precise explanation for some when it comes to their love of Asia. Where the joys of life are the same but celebrated so differently. Where the sizzle and steam of an exotic dish a millennium in the making may remind us of home. Where the iridescent reds, greens and yellows of fresh produce markets are followed by the night-time-neon fireworks of pulsing downtowns.

From the port city of Kobe, travel to Japan’s imperial capital of Kyoto and its mesmerising array of grand temples, shrines, palaces and gardens. As the region is home to an astounding 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites, you’ll quickly understand why Kyoto’s historic districts have been at the centre of Japanese culture for over 1,000 years. Look out over the meticulously preserved old Kyoto Town from the famed wooden terrace of Kiyomizudera Temple in Higashiyama district before exploring the similarly celebrated Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion), Yasaka Shrine and Maruyama Park. Walk atmospheric streets lined with 17th-century traditional restaurants and tea-houses in the Gion district, birthplace of Japan’s geisha culture. Take in the sights, sounds and smells of Nishiki Market before enjoying a sumptuous kaiseki (multi-course) meal. In Kyoto’s north, be sure to witness the upper two levels of revered Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) reflecting gold on a tranquil pond.
When it comes to the much-celebrated marvels of Australia and New Zealand, there’s always something new to discover – and relive. From breathtaking landscapes to stylish cities and enthralling wildlife, the appeal never fades. And let’s not forget the magnificent South Pacific – an area of such mind-bending beauty it must be seen to be believed. Think jungle-covered peaks, horizons in shifting shades of blue… hibiscus and frangipani floating on sunset breezes.
Seven Seas Explorer® sets sail for Australia in December 2024 and skirts along Queensland’s sublime coast — home of the Great Barrier Reef. Brisbane’s South Bank offers spectacular skyline views and even an inner-city beach, while encounters with cherished Aussie fauna and exotic Komodo dragons, red pandas, Sumatran Tigers and more await at Australia Zoo. And, of course, an overnight stay in Sydney will always delight.
Explorer is joined by Seven Seas Voyager® in January 2025, crossing the Tasman Sea after a stop in Tassie to slowly cruise New Zealand’s magnificent Dusky, Doubtful and Milford Sounds of Fjordland. There’s little that can prepare the senses for this part of the world with its otherworldly fjords draped with graceful waterfalls. Explore South Island’s cities with their wonderfully preserved Victorian architecture. Then why not sample the renowned wines and craft beers of the area?
Seven Seas Voyager® also departs from Auckland for the sun-speckled Vanuatu in 2025. Wander the colourful stalls and waterfront cafes of Vanuatu’s capital city of Port Vila before heading on to Fiji where you can glide over famous soft coral and a galaxy of extravagant fish on a guided snorkelling tour. Marvel at the traditional villages in Samoa then kick back in Tahiti, French Polynesia’s ‘Queen of the Pacific’.
All voyages feature overnights in the extraordinary Bora Bora, with its hypnotic lagoon and islets.

Like so many destinations in New Zealand, extraordinary natural beauty nearly overwhelms the human history of this North Island jewel. Named ‘Bay of Islands’ by Captain James Cook in 1769, its simple name subverts the diversity of its charms: a trove of secluded bays, pristine beaches and abundant marine life spread across 144 sparkling islands. Historically, the Māori knew it as Pēwhairangi and settled here as early as the 10th century. In the 19th century, Russell (then called Kororareka) became the first permanent European settlement and seaport. And it was here that the Treaty of Waitangi was drawn up and first signed in 1840. Your modern options are many: Paddle the tranquil waters of Waitangi Estuary on a scenic kayaking tour. See Motukokako Island and its dramatic Hole-in-the-Rock arch. Visit Omata, once an arrival point for European immigrants, now a successful wine-growing region. Walk among the mighty kauri trees of Puketi Forest, and so much more.

Colours comprise an unwritten language defined by their reflection of the natural world and an inherent connection to our emotions. Every year in New England and Canada, nature unpacks its fireworks and dazzles us with a barrage of colours that speaks to the soul. Maybe it reminds us of walking home from school on a crisp autumn day, leaves crunching beneath our feet. Or maybe it’s simply an annual thrill of anticipating beauty and rejoicing in its explosive arrival.
Hillsides awash in funhouse hues aren’t the only appealing colours you’ll encounter as you cruise North America’s north-east in 2024. Our newest standard of luxury — the resplendent Seven Seas Grandeur™ — will envelop you in warm tones and smart palettes as you leave New York City for New England on the first of four Canada cruises, each of which overnights in Montréal. Explore Boston’s historic neighbourhoods, taking in the autumn foliage of Boston Common and Public Gardens along the way. Get a glimpse of Canadian history on a tour of Halifax that includes World Heritagelisted Lunenburg, a picture-postcard fishing village. See Cape Breton Island’s famously wild and rugged coast turned red, yellow and ochre as you cruise the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Canada offers more than grand wilderness, of course, which you’ll immediately discover in the wonderfully Francophone cities of Québec City and Montréal. Enjoy the former’s Québécois cuisine, European architecture and staggering Château Frontenac. The cobblestones of Rue St-Paul date back to the 17th century, but you’ll be inspired by Montréal’s cosmopolitan vibe.

Frequently lauded as North America’s most European city — a claim the citizens of Québec City may consider an absurdité — Montréal bursts with centuries of history, astounding landmarks and authentic French cuisine. Stroll the cobbled streets of Old Town, a once-walled area where Montréal was founded in 1642, to the national landmark of Notre-Dame Basilica, a 19th-century Gothic Revival masterpiece. Sample tasty cheeses, mapleflavoured delicacies and delicate confections along lively Saint-Laurent Boulevard and in Marché Jean-Talon, an authentic farmers’ market. Wander the wooded slopes and grassy meadows of Parc du Mont-Royal, famously designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the architect of New York’s Central Park. Explore the treasures of Montréal’s Museum of Fine Art, which include works by Rembrandt, Picasso and Monet. As you’ll surely discover, no trip to Montréal is complete without trying poutine, a signature French-Canadian dish consisting of fries smothered in cheese curds and gravy. Bon appétit!
Just as jewels catch the eye, the Caribbean’s array of white sand beaches and turquoise seas hijack our senses. We’re immediately soothed by the soft breezes, swaying palms and smiling faces that recall past seaside sojourns. We slow down, breathe, reconnect with our carefree selves. And just as no two jewels are the same, the Caribbean’s assortment of islands, sun-speckled seas and coastal cities deliver diverse pleasures, from seaside promenades buzzing with merriment to candy-coloured houses to immaculate stretches of Shangri-la surf. You’re spoiled for choice in 2024-25 as The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™ offers multiple options to unwind, recharge and reconnect. In May 2024, Seven Seas Mariner® heads to the southern Caribbean and eastern US seaboard — with overnights in Charleston and New York City — before returning to the tropics in December. Seven Seas Grandeur™ calls the Caribbean home for five months beginning in November 2024. Experience a meeting of engineering marvels when our pinnacle of ocean cruising traverses the Panama Canal in the heart of holiday season, gifting you Central American history and culture in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala, plus Mexican Riviera glamour in Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada. Chase away the winter blues aboard Seven Seas Navigator® as she embarks on a series of escapes to favourites like Barbados, Grenada, St. Barts and Antigua.
Within the cosy confines of your perfect suite, you’ll grow accustomed to awakening each morning to a new take on Caribbean music, cuisine, architecture and beaches. Glorious, rejuvenating beaches.
INCLUDED SAMPLE SHORE EXCURSION POINTE-À-PITRE, GUADELOUPE
THE PARC DES MAMELLES & TREETOP ADVENTURE
Observe some of the Caribbean’s more exotic species in Guadeloupe’s zoological park. Hike through winding paths past flowering plants such as birds of paradise, bright yellow cannas and wild orchids to a beautiful waterfall. For a different perspective of the tropical foliage, you may follow the suspended wooden bridges through the treetop canopy. This park originally served as a protected nature reserve for raccoons, but today the diversity is remarkable; spot spider monkeys, squirrel monkeys, jaguars, ocelots and all sorts of colourful parrots.

Ever since the Naval Dockyard was established as Great Britain’s most important Caribbean base in Antigua in 1784, its fringing coral reefs, crystal clear waters and hundreds of secluded beaches have made it a favourite West Indies destination. The 70-foot bell towers of the 19th-century St. John’s Cathedral dominate the skyline of Antigua’s capital city, a harbinger of the quaint colonial architecture found throughout. Check out exhibits on indigenous tribes, plantation life and the nation’s passion for cricket at the Museum of Antigua & Barbuda before browsing the city’s bustling jewellery and clothing boutiques. Revel in tropical vibes travelling across the island, passing candy-coloured villages on your way to Nelson’s Dockyard National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s been in continuous operation since 1745. Enjoy sweeping vistas at Shirley Heights Lookout, Antigua’s southernmost point, before sipping a signature Antiguan rum cocktail at one of English Harbour’s historic inns.

A savouring of life’s simple pleasures connects us to the Mediterranean. We break bread at Italian, Turkish, Greek and Spanish restaurants anticipating phenomenal food and wine, hearty laughter and genuine fellowship. We flock to see masterworks of art because we must witness true greatness in person. We reach out and touch the walls of ancient structures in tribute to those who created Western civilisation itself. And, of course, we take delight in the region’s natural masterpieces, especially its beaches, coastlines and brilliant blue seas.
Highlight-filled itineraries beckon you to pursue your passion for all-things-Mediterranean in 2024-25. Luxury cruising’s next standard of elegance, our magnificent Seven Seas Grandeur™, appropriately makes her debut out of Rome and overnights in Monte Carlo, Trieste and Istanbul. Before gracing glamorous ports like Saint-Tropez and Portofino, Seven Seas Splendor® begins her season by visiting Castellón, a new port in the Valencia region of eastern Spain.

The wind is calm. The sea is flat. You sail into a fjord along Norway’s storied western coast, giant fingers of ancient earth stretching to either shoreline. Your awe of this untamed place turns to appreciation for those who’ve called this landscape home for millennia. You understand the inspiration for age-old tales of monsters and trolls — the glorious, unforgiving landscape itself — and the Nordic legends created to stand victorious over them.
Such connections to nature’s heroic splendour are common throughout Northern Europe, where coastlines are jagged, castles are medieval and glaciers are grand. Hemmed in on all sides by towering mountains, Isafjordur in Iceland’s Westfjords is where Seven Seas Mariner® begins a spectacular journey in this geothermal wonderland that includes an overnight in Reykjavik and encounters with the vast puffin colony of the new port of Heimaey. She’ll also call on Aarhus, Denmark for the first time and offer more than half-a-dozen overnights across multiple countries from the Faroe Islands to France. Similarly, Seven Seas Voyager® offer a bevy of overnights in Europe, including Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Spain. Seven Seas Splendor® tours the Iberian Peninsula before making maiden calls on Santander, Spain and Måløy, Norway. After exploring the British Isles, she makes a remarkable pair of circumnavigations of Iceland calling upon the new Icelandic ports of Djupivogur and Heimaey. She’ll overnight in magical locales across the Faroe Islands, Norway, Belgium and France. Seven Seas Navigator® serves up Scandinavian and Baltic gems with sailings that include maiden calls on Estonia’s Saaremaa, Denmark’s Esbjerg and the Netherlands’ Vlissingen with overnights in Iceland. Join her to explore the gamut of French culture with overnights in Cherbourg and Bordeaux and with back-to-back nights in Honfleur, offering you plus d’opportunités to fall in love with Paris, as well as calling on Calais for the first time.

Nestled by the picturesque fjord of Hamarsfjorour, this small coastal village that dates back to 1589 offers something magical: Mt. Bulandstindur, a pyramid-shaped basalt mountain peaking at 3,507 feet, which is widely believed to be a focus of mystical forces.
This small, vibrant island underwent cataclysmic change in January, 1973, when a vast fissure burst open, burying 400 buildings and creating a new volcano. Learn fascinating details at the Eldheimar Museum before setting out to see a vast colony of Atlantic puffins.
An important port city for centuries due to its strategic location on the Westerschelde, Vlissingen is now the Zeeland region’s most favoured seaside resort. Trace that eventful history at the Zeeland Maritime MuZEEum before strolling its charming, café-laden boulevard.

A World Heritage-listed city hall fronted by one of Rodin’s most famous public monuments, museums dedicated to the city’s role in World War II and a medieval watchtower and cathedral make Calais much more than a transportation hub to England.
Explore the sights of this charming coastal village that’s one of Norway’s most important fishing ports. Learn the area’s WWII history at the Måløy Raid Centre, snap a photo of the must-see Kannesteinen Rock and walk Refviksanden’s white sands.
Brimming with stunning architecture both old and modern, a vibrant cultural scene and lively boutiques and bars, Denmark’s second-largest city is fast becoming a must-see Scandinavian stop. Foodies dive into dishes ranging from New Nordic to traditional Danish.
From Magdalena Palace — an early 20th-century gift from Santander to Spain’s royal family — to the ultra modern Centro Botín museum, this picturesque port city nicknamed ‘bride of the sea’ echoes its seafaring past and heralds its future.
Embrace Norway’s adventurous spirit and serene beauty with a hike to the top of Mount Huaren. The ascent will present glorious views of the natural wonders that surround Olden, which nestles along the mouth of the Oldeelva River. The higher you ascend, the more stunning the scenery and the more invigorating the mountain air. Triumphant, you will reach the summit 1,246-feet above sea level for panoramic views. Sparkling Nordfjord stretches out before you, merging with sights of snow-capped peaks and pristine forests. From this lofty vantage point, you will also see the village of Loen and some of Norway’s oldest farms – which thrive on the glacially formed moraine soil.

South America is a land of colourful extremes. The Amazon Basin features the world’s largest tropical rainforest; the UNESCO-listed Laguna San Rafael is home to a shockingly blue glacier. The sparkling beaches, verdant parks and anything-goes spirit of carnival makes Rio de Janeiro a ‘must-visit’ for travellers the world over; Tierra del Fuego’s quirky, windswept capital of Ushuaia is nicknamed ‘The End of the World’ and is only accessible by air or water.
Connecting such disparate qualities is an essential element of understanding a place, of course, and you have intriguing options for grasping South America properly in 2024 and 2025. After pausing for beach time in the eastern Caribbean, Seven Seas Mariner® cruises the Atlantic in November 2024 for a thrilling journey up the Amazon River, long a fixture of literature and film — with subsequent legends. You’ll gain precious insight into the river and its people, including the Amazonian city once known as the ‘Paris of the Tropics,’ the white sand beaches of Alter do Chão and the fascinating ‘Wedding of the Waters’ (where the Tapajós and Amazon rivers meet). Seven Seas Navigator® embarks on a similar adventure in February 2025.
Enjoy overnights in extraordinary cities, a brush with Antarctica and the majestic Chilean Fjords aboard Seven Seas Splendor® in 2025. Learn how Buenos Aires is more than Argentina’s capital: it’s an architectural marvel, foodie’s dream and tango-lover’s mecca. Cruise the fabled Drake Passage between Chile’s southernmost tip and Antarctica’s South Shetland Islands, an unforgettable seafaring feat, and stare slack-jawed at Patagonia’s giant glaciers and mountains.

Argentina’s beloved capital is tucked away in a far corner of South America, but it’s as switched-on as any city, anywhere. Spanish traders created the wealth and European immigrants shaped the architecture that gives Buenos Aires its old-world ambience, but it’s the Latin passion for fútbol (football), parrillas (steakhouses) and, of course, tango that electrifies the culture. After walking the living, dancing street museum that is El Caminito, enjoy an al fresco lunch amid the technicolour houses of La Boca barrio, where a myriad of forces gave rise to the tango in the 19th century. Score antiques and collectibles in historic San Telmo, stand beneath the Casa Rosada balcony where Eva Perón — known to many as Evita — addressed throngs in Plaza de Mayo, make a pilgrimage to the grand mausoleums of Recoleta Cemetery, explore the redeveloped Puerto Madero and test the acoustics of Teatro Colón. A heady itinerary, but Buenos Aires will inspire you to do it all… and tango, too.
