Preface

his ebook, an exclusive only available in its entirety with a Free 7-Day Trial or paid subscription at solluckman.substack.com, more or less “wrote itself,” as often happens with my books.

It came about, in its initial form anyway, as a series of interrelated articles on cults and cultism that just sort of came to me while contemplating how the “reality” Gameboard functions and that I decided to publish on my Substack over the summer of 2023.

Let me tell you, those articles dissecting the workings of the World Cult in general and “truther” cults in particular were like a series of hornet’s nests tossed into the managed minds of the cultocracy.

Stung cultists emerged from the shadows like MKUltraactivated trolls defending their unquestioned beliefs (often, it would seem, following direct orders from their cult leaders) with a bewildering barrage of lies, insults, threats, shaming, labeling, libel, slander, scapegoating, and other lowbrow alternatives to thinking.

“Even in human life we have seen the passion to dominate, almost to digest, one’s fellow,” wrote C. S. Lewis, “to make his whole intellectual and emotional life merely an extension of one’s own—to hate one’s hatreds and resent one’s grievances and indulge one’s egotism through him as well as through oneself. His own little store of passion must of course be suppressed to make room for ours. If he resists this suppression he is being very selfish.”

My response posted on social media to this sad monster mash of (mostly) messenger attacking mixed with message ignoring was neutral and to the point: “Good or bad, kind or mean, fair or not, any reaction on your part to my recent ix

article series on the danger of (doomsday) cults means I’M OVER THE TARGET.” Although I also gained my share of new readers and supporters, rare indeed was it that the indoctrinated took the time to eschew ad hominem insults (even if they read my material, which they hardly ever did thoroughly) and provide thoughtful criticism of my actual words; when they did, I took it to heart and scrutinized their viewpoint, occasionally going so far as to modify my own.

Throughout this unpleasant and frankly depressing experience, I imagined I felt somewhat like Thoreau marching to the beat of his own drummer even as his revolutionary ideas (which today seem so self-evident they’re hardly even radical) brought down on his own head the foaming at the mouth of his fundamentalist (read: cultified) Concord neighbors.

And like Thoreau, one of America’s (perhaps the world’s) greatest freethinkers and a personal hero of mine, I endeavored to take my own advice as provided herein: I went about divesting my person and energy to the best of my ability from every cult—large and small, obvious and hidden—I could before simply, having said my peace and closed the book on the subject in this ebook, turning and walking away.

The result of this summer (when I’d have gladly surfed more and cared less) wasted on today’s prophets of doom and their cult followings is The World Cult & You, where I’ve greatly expanded on my initial article series and also included four additional chapters (two completely new and previously unpublished in any form) for your consideration. I’ve also added a large number of new original memes to further illustrate and nuance this material.

Introduction: You Might Be a CULT Member If …

A

t the mention of the word “cult,” you might notice a kind of automatic revulsion, a possibly slight kneejerk shiver that just rises up out of you, seemingly out of nowhere.

Alternatively, you might find the word itself off-putting and observe that you’re automatically inclined to dismiss it out of hand.

I wish to start off this ebook of essays on cults and cultism by suggesting that these reactions themselves are evidence of cult programming.

Through deep cultural “hypnosis,” as with the term “conspiracy theory” allegedly introduced by the CIA to cover up their own shenanigans by putting people off the scent of their wrongdoing, “cult” has been cleverly programmed to make you instantly connect the word to the most egregious, nauseating examples of this pervasive social engineering phenomenon that can actually be—and indeed, usually is—far more nuanced and insidious.

Some would say that society at large is a massive cult, one designed to entrain (through a variety of means both subtle and not so much) its members to restricted expressions of thought, belief, and action.

The more I’ve considered this topic as dispassionately as possible while examining my own cultish connections, the more I’ve come to agree with the perspective that human civilization could be accurately described as, in fact, a World Cult.

If you ask me, it could hardly be more obvious that some kind of powerful mesmeric force is remote-controlling the 15

vast majority of human beings, including many of those entrenched in so-called truther communities.

But even if we take a less wholesale approach to the subject, it’s clear society is—at the very least—largely made up of innumerable cults: religious ones, social ones, gendered ones, political ones, exopolitical ones, financial ones, ideological ones, cults of personality.

The list, like Bilbo’s endless road, goes ever on and on— and sadly, it just gets slipperier and slipperier.

All cults, textbook or otherwise, cultivate essentially mindless (or other-mind-ness) acceptance of sometimes unproven, often patently absurd and usually selfdestructive ideas and accompanying acts. (See 2020-22 for a, um, pointed lesson in how shockingly effortless it is to induce worldwide cult formation with a staggering range 16

of disempowering consequences that are continuing to do damage to the world and its people to this day.)

To be absolutely clear on this critically important point, the real danger with cults isn’t their leaders, however delusional and/or despicable; it’s their robotic foot soldiers who blindly believe in them and blithely do their dirty work—often against other cult members and usually without an iota of self-consciousness as to the inhuman(e) savagery of their behavior.

As I’ve observed by being on the receiving end as the unwelcome messenger to an extended “community” of cultists, the ferocity with which cult minions will defend their leader’s “truth” without so much as considering the “truth” of others is truly barbaric, making such genocides as the Crusades understandable.

This all-too-common sort of reaction in cultists to being called out is a particularly nasty plot twist that has turned into little more than a cliché as lobotomized minions gleefully go to work throwing each other under the cult bus to please their megalomaniacal mind controller(s)—for precious little, except mental slavery, in return.

To which I respond by quoting Kahlil Gibran, who perfectly characterizes the zombified state of so many hypnotized cultists who seem straight out of The Walking Dead: “Life without liberty is like a body without spirit.”

In addition to these few words, I offer the selection of (darkly) humorous original memes sprinkled throughout this text as possible points of departure for your own exploration of your personal relationship to cults and cultishness in what strikes me as their Golden Age. I myself have been tricked into ignoring my own eyes and ears in favor of what I wanted to see and hear in what was—in retrospect—undeniably a “community” with an overwhelmingly cultish vibe.

And believe me when I say I paid the price for my own denial of what was right in front of me the whole time.

Bizarrely, we benighted humans tend to learn as we burn …

I flatter myself that my “coming out of the cult closet,” as it were, has been of value at least to some. A number of people with their own cautionary tales of this and other cults have come forward privately with gratitude and further insight, and I wish to thank them in return for their bravery in sharing the wisdom of their painful experiences.

Below are a few questions well worth asking yourself if you’re truly seeking to be sovereign in mind, body, and spirit.

1 Be Mindful While Cultivating Your Interests That You Don’t Find Yourself in a CULT “The only way out is in. Focusing on externals, however noble the intention, is just an intended distraction.” —Yours Truly

s a former educator and devoted psychonaut exploring the fringes of consciousness for many years now, part of me resists putting this out there at the get-go, since I know many will resist the very notion, but here goes anyway in the interest of full disclosure: Far from being a universally positive characteristic, curiosity doesn’t always lead to healthy outcomes.

Some Context To contextualize my seemingly antithetical proposition, even though I’ve always had a fairly sensitive BS detector, I’ve nevertheless followed my own curious nose down several paths of “knowledge” (a problematic term at best, as I’ll explain) … only to realize—inevitably too late—that I’d been lured into the vestibule of a massive CULT EDIFICE. My teenage stint as a Southern Baptist, not because I loved Jesus but because the youth group and choir happened to be a blast, and my leftist indoctrination via prestigious liberal arts universities are two examples with which many probably can identify. There were literal impressive vestibules that ushered one into those beguiling environments.

I don’t know about you, but I have a weakness—one I strongly suspect now to be a form of cult indoctrination— for large-scale architecture that obviously costs a lot of money to construct and maintain.

“The only difference between a cult and a religion,” said a very wise gentleman named Frank Zappa, “is the amount of real estate they own.”

As my eponymous narrator phrases it in my forthcoming novel on the primacy of consciousness in an observer-generated construct such as ours, Beginner’s Luke: Adventure of an Imaginary Lifetime: “FUCK banks and churches united in their displays of power through ostentatiously redundant space.”

In this scene Luke, who has become a slacker in the early Nineties, is beginning to recognize, as many of us “reality researchers” are nowadays, the bedrock of society for what it is: a colossal cult.

My own biographical details aren’t important, but the underlying lesson I eventually harvested from my time spent willingly participating in the giant loosh farm of the earth is potentially of tremendous value to any who would truly break free of the Control Matrix that, like the air we breathe (or don’t, if you ask Morpheus) is all around us: In this thoroughly mind-manipulated world, in this realm literally produced by thought installations that create “reality tunnels” (a sad but true term), your own interests can and will be used against you.

Is Education a Solution … or a Problem?

If the foregoing sounds like a warning not to overeducate yourself on any particular topic, perhaps it is, somewhat.

Again, perish the thought. Yet here we are thinking it— and for darn good reason.

Over and above the myopia and navel-gazing induced by today’s compartmentalization in “education” followed by soul-suckingly unidimensional career “paths,” too much 22

focus on a topic or area of “expertise” can lead you— whistling all the while—straight down the garden path … into a CULT. I wish to emphasize that cults don’t have to identify themselves as such. In fact, based on outward appearances, most cults don’t act the part at all.

The worst cults are the chameleons in society, the seemingly “natural” groupings of people for seemingly “normal” purposes that no one in their “right mind” should ever question.

And these, I’m sorry to say, as it turns out, are the most diabolically underhanded of all.

At the level of the inhuman(e) Intelligence (the “wrong mind” most people have “downloaded,” as I’ll explain a bit later) scripting so-called collective reality, the disguise is absolutely intentional. It’s part of the honey trap. And you’re the target.

You start, for example, with curiosity—a simple, childlike wish to know more about something, anything.

Curiosity seems natural, and I suppose it is, or ought to be, and yet how easily we forget it was what killed the cat.

Following your nose, you go deeper and deeper, and meet others with similar mindsets, and before you know it you’re identifying as part of a privileged group and engaging in what should properly be called groupthink.

According to Wikipedia, which I’ll be using throughout this ebook for expediency and accessibility only, not because I trust it, “groupthink” is “sometimes stated to occur … within natural groups within the community, for example to explain the lifelong different mindsets of those with differing political views (such as ‘conservatism’ and ‘liberals’ in the US political context or the purported benefits of team work vs. work conducted in solitude.)

However, this conformity of viewpoints within a group does not mainly involve deliberate group decision-making, and might be better explained by the collective confirmation bias of the individual members of the group.”

This “collective confirmation bias” is the dead weight at the would-be heart and soul of cults large and small. I write “would-be” because deeply indoctrinated cult members have had much of their individuality and sovereignty of thought, word and deed (their “heart and soul”) replaced by—you guessed it—groupthink.

This can happen in families as easily as in fanbases, in churches as effortlessly as in corporations.

Leaders & Followers There may or may not be an identifiable leader in such scenarios. A powerful enough IDEA, by itself, can serve as the “leader.” And it often does.

The mere idea of “vaccination,” for example, has created not just one but numerous—often competing—cults: those for it (vaxxers), those against it (antivaxxers), those 24

“proving” its effectiveness, those “debunking” it, those claiming it’s “genocidal,” those insisting it’s part of a “transhumanist agenda,” etc.

I don’t mean to suggest I’m against bodily autonomy or that I myself (having been severely, and I mean severely, vaccine-injured in my twenties) would ever willingly opt for another jab.

But I do insist that any emotionally charged position adopted by a group of people on this (or any other hotbutton topic, such as the “virus” question) automatically creates a de facto cult.

“Government” is an interesting word to consider in this context. Etymologically, this term can literally be taken to mean “mind control.” Look it up if you don’t believe me.

Cults are all forms of government for controlling what is acceptable to think—and, by extension, say and do.

If you’re emotively connected to any kind of leader, belonging to official government or just the sly cult kind, you’re—by definition—a follower. And this is where things get really tricky.

“I never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me as a member” is a sentiment attributed to both Sigmund Freud and Groucho Marx, which is an interesting pairing given what a clown posing as an intellectual Freud was.

I’m criticizing Freud because—in light of his student Carl Jung’s later perspectives on the meaning of dreams, to say nothing of that of countless metaphysical and shamanic schools of thought—the insistence that (for instance) a dream cigar typically symbolizes a phallus is ludicrously simplistic. Sometimes, as Freud himself admitted, a cigar is just for smoking.

Yet as these as things tend to happen in Cultilandia, Freud’s overall restrictive interpretation of dreams won out (much like Darwin’s laughable notion of “natural selection”) and dominated discourse (governed thinking) for many decades, spawning as ridiculous a form of “psychotherapy” as the modern biological “science” Darwin’s work launched.

More to the point, the well-known quip about not wishing to belong to a club that would have one as a member would serve perfectly as a universal mantra for all genuine freethinkers and freedom seekers.

Sadly, emotionally charged membership in any type of “club”—a team fan base, a political party, a gender affiliation, a gun (for or against) group, etc.—is tantamount to cult membership.

Critically, it’s the emotional charge that’s at issue here, not the membership itself. You can get away with looking into anything, until you can’t, and therein lies the rub.

The charge means you’re plugging into the Power of the Cult. In essence, by tacit agreement, you’re connecting with a larger, collective entity. And if you think you’re drawing 26

power from it, instead of the other way around, you’re tragically mistaken.

Why do you think cults exist in the first place? Exactly.

They’re there to harvest your loosh, or personal power, for purposes that do anything but serve your own or humanity’s interests.

Anyone denying the existence of loosh is probably—it almost goes without saying—a card-carrying, Kool-Aidsipping cult member (such as those on both sides of the debate over the dash, or lack thereof, in “Kool-Aid” that continues to rage between the Mandela Effected and Unaffected).

Unfortunately, some of the biggest cults today are no longer even part of the mainstream, which gives them a certain amount of camouflage that makes it difficult for those wising up to the “reality” game to identify them.

These are the petty cults of the “alternative” media— specifically, those of the “truther” community.

In the final analysis, it doesn’t even matter if today’s trending little self-important cults make good points about the alleged nature of things—that most of history appears to be falsified, for example, or that modern “science” is just scientism, or that the earth may not be the shape we’re told it is, or that germs may not cause illness, or that cycles seem to repeat ad nauseam in what could only be a “simulacrum.”

These observations may (or may not) be true. That’s not what concerns us at the moment.

But what does—or ought to—concern us is this: If you find yourself no longer a relatively objective researcher but suddenly part of a group of emotionally charged people defending a certain worldview while denouncing anyone who disagrees, YOU, MY FRIEND, HAVE LANDED IN A CULT. Run for the hills. Run for your life.

2 Trust the … Séance?

I

n an observer-based universe like the one we apparently inhabit, “science” itself, as I’ve argued for some time now, is likely an illusion, leaving the very possibility of external knowledge (as opposed to internal gnosis) open to debate.

In coming to terms with the problem of the so-called scientific method, we could easily get lost down the rabbit hole of philosophical skepticism, and yet this school of thought is also potentially an extremely empowering— even unifying—vantage from which to view “reality.” From Wikipedia: Philosophical skepticism is a doubtful attitude toward commonly accepted knowledge claims. It is an important form of skepticism. Skepticism in general is a questioning attitude toward all kinds of knowledge claims. In this wide sense, it is quite common in everyday life: many people are ordinary skeptics about parapsychology or about astrology because they doubt the claims made by proponents of these fields. But the same people are not skeptical about other knowledge claims like the ones found in regular school books. Philosophical skepticism differs from ordinary skepticism in that it even rejects knowledge claims that belong to basic common sense and seem to be very certain. For this reason, it is sometimes referred to as radical doubt.

We have, for example, among today’s “truthers” an individual claiming that his calendrical information is superior to newer information (such as that found online) simply because it comes from “old books.”

What exactly defines “old” seems to change depending on this individual’s mood; nor is the arbitrariness of the moving line of his delineation ever examined in good faith.

Whether this “old” information is itself problematic, or has perhaps even been “Mandela Effected” and actually changed (as many family bibles have reportedly been), is never likewise allowed to be seriously debated in this person’s “truther” “community” chock-full of blind believers willing to defend their leader to the death without so much as an independent thought of their own. (Recall that cults are designed to control the mind, or govern-ment.)

Philosophical skepticism allows us to easily see through the logical fallacy of this particular doomsayer’s position, but it also works in other areas.

Starting during the pandemic, plandemic, scamdemic or whatever you wish to call the nightmare that overtook this “reality” beginning in late 2019, it was easy enough to grasp that, on one level, those of us questioning the existence of viruses were engaged in a variety of philosophical skepticism.

But the rabbit hole didn’t stop here. Although there’s some disagreement on this subject, it’s often remarked by educated (whatever that means these days) people that you can’t prove a negative. So to say that viruses per se don’t exist is—philosophically anyway—already on shaky ground.

Beyond this somewhat sophomoric criticism, however, lay a deeper problem: that of the very existence of knowledge itself.

If we can’t know anything here, wherever this is, it doesn’t matter whether we’re affirming a positive (the “virus” narrative) or attempting to prove a negative (the “no virus” counternarrative).

In this illusory realm in which matter itself appears to disappear despite our best attempts to pin it down in the microcosm, NOTHING is ultimately verifiable—even if, in this age dominated by the cult religion of “science” (which resembles a hypnotic séance more than anything rational) we flatter ourselves that it is.

As Florinda Donner writes in Being-in-Dreaming about the “place of reason” occupied by today’s society in a section worth quoting at length: [W]hether we are scholars or laymen, we are nonetheless members and inheritors of our Western intellectual tradition.

And that means that regardless of our level of education and sophistication, we are captives of that intellectual tradition and the way it interprets what reality is.

Sol Luckman Only superficially ... are we willing to accept that what we call reality is a culturally determined construct.

And what we need is to accept at the deepest level possible that culture is the product of a long, cooperative, highly selective, highly developed, and last but not least, highly coercive process that culminates in an agreement that shields us from other possibilities.

[Shamans] actively strive to unmask the fact that reality is dictated and upheld by our reason; that ideas and thoughts stemming from reason become regimes of knowledge that ordain how we see and act in the world; and that incredible pressure is put on all of us to make certain ideologies acceptable to ourselves [...]

What is culturally determined is that our personal experiences, plus a shared social agreement on what our senses are capable of perceiving, dictate what we perceive.

Take, for example, the cause of bubonic plague, which has been “culturally determined” by “reason” to be one thing and one thing only. Germ theorists smugly know that the bubonic plague was an infectious bacterial disease caused by fleas.

Terrain theorists, on the other hand, offering an alternative explanation, “reasonably” counter that we know no such thing, since various types of potentially diseasecausing pollution in the medieval world would make today’s China look as pristine as Greenland.

And yet, throwing a wrench in both of these “reasonable” explanations, it has been documented that putrefied body parts literally rained down from the sky in various hard-hit locations just before the Black Death ballooned into a tremendous tragedy.

So what really happened? And how could anybody really know?

Obviously, only cultists—of one stripe or another— think they can and do know for sure.

Seeing Eye to Eye One issue that has always concerned me in the great Viral Debate (to cite one example of a myriad of parallel ones) is how two groups of ostensibly intelligent people can arrive at such diametrically opposed viewpoints as to utterly disparage each other’s perspectives … based on “science.”

Having interviewed so many in the “no virus” camp during the COVID era, I’m convinced that—to a person— they’re absolutely genuine in their contrarian assessment of the data showing that pathogenic viruses are a myth of scientism.

Most of these researchers are, in my opinion, compassionate and honorable in their heartfelt desire to get at the truth for the betterment of humanity.

On the other side of the testy conflict surrounding the proof (or lack thereof) of infectious viruses, we have figures such as Dr. Joseph Mercola, Del Bigtree, Steve Kirsch, and Jeremy Hammond.

For the longest time, like a good little terrain theorist, I considered the majority of such folks who justifiably decry the covax but inexplicably swallow virology whole deluded at best, sellouts at worst, and in some cases jerks to boot.

And like a good little conspiracy theorist, I was perfectly willing to entertain the possibility that such “researchers” might actually be actors playing their slimy bit parts in an elaborate psyop emerging from the bowels of the Deep State to enslave us all.

But what if there’s another explanation? What if they simply really believe that contagious viruses exist and cause disease?

And what if, in a manner that could only happen in either a wholly quantum (read: magical) universe or a completely simulated dreamscape, in a way they’re right?

What if both sides are right? What if our divine default mode of seeing what we believe (as opposed to believing 33

what we see) makes the old Newtonian grammar of either/or obsolete?

What if, instead, because we’re all just making shit up anyway, if we’re ever to see eye to eye when it comes to “science” or anything else, we need to start talking in terms of both/and?

And what if this is a way out of groupthink and cultspeak into a remarkably brighter and freer day?

Egregores, Tulpas & Mental Viruses Some time ago I was being interviewed by “bad boy” Chef Pete Evans from Down Under, when our conversation veered into exactly this kind of extreme-relativity territory in which subjective consciousness reigns supreme.

As someone sitting on the fence of the virology debate, he asked me, a hardcore “no viruser” cultist at the time, whether (I’m paraphrasing from memory) there was any chance something like a “mental virus” might actually be involved in “COVID.” Specifically, he wondered if we might be looking at something like an egregore, defined by Wikipedia as an … occult concept representing a non-physical entity that arises from the collective thoughts of a distinct group of people.

Historically, the concept referred to angelic beings […] In more recent times, the concept has referred to a psychic manifestation, or a thoughtform, which occurs when any group shares a common motivation—being made up of, and influencing, the thoughts of the group.

Years previously, I’d republished an article titled “Are We Living in a Virtual Simulation” by the legendary Jon Rappoport on the simulation hypothesis in which he described a similar phenomenon: The ancient Tibetans … were daring adventurers on the edge of experiments in consciousness.

Relying on the teachings of itinerant outcast adepts from India, they developed a practice called, by a few later scholars, “deity visualization.” (See John Blofeld, The Tantric Mysticism of Tibet.)

Perhaps based on an already existing mandala-painting, a teacher would give his student a very detailed and specific “personage” to create in his imagination. This effort, if it was successful at all, might take months or even years.

The objective was to mentally hold the complex image intact, in every detail, not just for a few seconds or minutes, but indefinitely. If the student was successful at this arduous task, he would soon find that the personage he created seemed to take on a life of its own.

The personage or deity would become the student’s friend and guide and give him valuable advice and counsel. When the teacher sensed this relationship had progressed to a very close 35

Sol Luckman point, he would order the student to get rid of the personage altogether.

This, it was said, was more difficult than the original act of creating it. But if the student was able to perform both aspects (creative and destructive) of the exercise, he would then realize, see, and know, with full consciousness, that THE UNIVERSE WAS A PRODUCT OF MIND. At that crossroad, he would be able to spontaneously take apart pieces of “the hologram” or “the lattice,” and even create (out of nothing) new objects that hadn’t existed before.

Moreover, I’d recently published my novel Cali the Destroyer, which features a major theme involving a related concept called a tulpa, defined by spiritualist Alexandra David-Néel, according to Wikipedia, as a term for “magic formations generated by a powerful concentration of thought.”

But even though I’d done my homework in this controversial area on the fringes of consensus reality and was inclined to entertain the possibility of such extraordinary paranormal entities, I responded in the negative to Pete’s inquiry about a theoretical mental virus in almost as knee-jerk a fashion as any bona fide terrain cultist would.

Now, to be clear, many in the “no virus” cult freely admit the potential for something akin to a nocebo effect where “SARS-CoV-2” and other alleged pathogens are concerned.

Fearmongering lathered on 24/7 by an agenda-driven press for years would almost have to produce significant psychosomatic effects in the populace.

But this wasn’t what Pete and I were discussing. We were questioning whether a new thoughtform called “SARSCoV-2” had been introduced into human consciousness, which had then made an imaginary virus effectively real on a mass scale.

In retrospect, my visceral refusal to explore this radical possibility—despite my deep knowledge of such mystical terrain—should have been a red flag that I’d been forced 36

into an either/or way of seeing in a both/and world dominated by the divide-and-conquer dynamics common to cult thinking.

Two Sides of the Same Coin My view is that what passes for reality in this deeply fractured construct is purposely engineered not via a controlled opposition (singular) but by controlled oppositions (plural) pitting an abundance of seemingly logically justified worldviews against each other.

Without going terribly far down yet another rabbit hole (an even deeper one) just yet, we might entertain how a type of etheric parasitic force—call it the Great Parasite— could have “infected” the dreamscape of this “reality” and now seeks to subjugate humanity, which it can only do, in a digitized or otherwise “unreal” world based in human minds, by controlling human minds, duh.

“Worldview” is a key word in this discussion, as it reminds us that each side of any debate or conflict— including the one about alleged viruses or the more recent one over the existence or nonexistence of our very DNA—is creating the world it sees.

Specifically, the simulated dreamscape of “reality” feeds to each side data and “facts” that support each side’s beliefs.

This literally means that “virus” pushers may actually be seeing and evaluating different evidence from that presented by the simulated dreamscape to team “no virus.”

I realize this may sound preposterous, and it would be in a real-world situation. But I contend that’s not what’s going on here.

Instead, we’re talking about a massively sensitive and complex metaverse in which—if I might be permitted to process one of the most famous stories from ancient history through a simplified simulationist lens—an entire advanced civilization trying to hack its way out of here was 37

sent packing to the four winds, no longer even able to understand one another, at the stroke of a keyboard.

This iconic episode from the (invented) history of the simulacrum is called … the Tower of Babel. I propose that we find ourselves today in an eminently Babelesque scenario in the Great Viral Debate.

Technically, there’s no “wrong” in such a confounding situation; everyone’s right … in their simulated version of the world.

And because they’re absolutely right and they can “prove” it, at least to themselves, they’re absolutely convinced (with good reason) that the other side is wrong.

A helpful concept for understanding how this dynamic might play out in a magical world or simulated dreamscape comes from Itzhak Bentov, Paul LaViolette, Rupert Sheldrake and others theorizing how individual and collective information (or “morphic”) fields might interact to create distinctive—and often contradictory— experiences of “reality.”

Basically, as I see them, morphic fields are bubbles of consciousness, or arrangements of conscious bioenergy (auras or auric fields), that interact to create interference patterns with the world’s magical, simulated or dreamlike substrate, which then feeds back to us … exactly what we put into it.

In the case of virology, one side has used the massive morphic field of germ theory in the egregoric creation of its “virus.”

Up against this Rockefeller-financed wrecking ball for health and sovereignty, the terrain camp has played the role of underdog in seeking to create a strong enough morphic field for its egregoric “nonexistent virus” to “upset” the dominant narrative.

Certainly, the latter viewpoint—which is basically just a choice—is a lot more empowering for humanity, but that’s off the subject.

Everyone playing a role in this divine comedy seems to have forgotten that, as with Gertrude Stein’s hometown of Kansas City, either way you go, in the end there’s no there there.

No version of science is “broken” because the “scientific” method, in its purest sense, is a materialistic myth in an immaterial setting.

The only thing real here is our consciousness— specifically, our innate ability to use our imaginative and dreaming capacities to create what feels like a real world full of real experiences.

Seeing what they believe and not what is, neither side sees that this is all just a BIG GAME in which both sides are merely propping each other up in a false dichotomy that keeps the Matrix very much in control of the field of play through the oldest diversionary technique in the world’s oc(cult) history: separate and annihilate.

It’s fascinating to note that even certain key figures in the “no virus” camp with pronounced metaphysical leanings are actually acting more like closet materialists in their focus on lack of physical “proof” of … whatever. As if any of that actually meant anything.

Me, I used to think that if people could just wake up to the unreality of viruses, the world would change—and it might, a little.

But compare this to a mass awakening to the unreality of reality. Then the world wouldn’t just change. The dreamscape would transform. And then, no doubt about it, we’d be free.

3 More Thoughts on the Nature of the CULT of the Simulacrum

I

n modern times the simulation hypothesis—popularly referred to as simulation theory—has gained a widespread following in such diverse fields as physics, mathematics, computing, and philosophy.

The simulation hypothesis has become so widespread, in fact, it has turned into—I wince to say it, but honesty compels me—a sort of cult in its own right, one composed of many sub-cults that love to attack one another as subcults relish doing.

This isn’t the place to unpack the many varieties and nuances of this at times extremely technical theory that’s like a tree with many branches.

But consider that as far back as the landmark article “A Holographic Concept of Reality” presented at the First International Congress of Psychotronics in Prague in 1973 and first printed in the Journal of Psychoenergetic Systems in 1975, a team of researchers headlined by physicist Richard Alan Miller were already establishing a bioscientific framework for what would eventually be called the simulation hypothesis: We propose that the “reality hologram” which appears as a stable world of material objects is the elementary particle which has a long-term existence and fairly simple rules of interaction.

We also propose the existence of a “biohologram” which appears mobile and evolving, through the DNA molecule. This “biohologram” projects a dynamic three-dimensional image that 41

Thus we have mobile self-organizing holograms moving through a relatively static simpler hologram. The possibility exists that such “bioholograms” could achieve sufficient coherence to continue existence as a pattern of radiant energy apart from a material substrate. We feel that such an occurrence could form the scientific basis of such psychoenergetic phenomena as psycho-kinesis, clairvoyance, telepathy, and precognition.

In “Embryonic Holography” Miller continues this train of holographic theorizing that leads straight to, through and beyond such massively influential works as Michael Talbot’s The Holographic Universe: DNA appears to be the projector of a biohologram, both at cellular and organismic levels. This means that DNA is responsible for creating a complex pattern of three-dimensional electromagnetic standing and moving wave fronts in the space that the organism occupies. We believe that these wave fronts interact with, interpenetrate and interdetermine the physical substance that makes up the creature.

The biohologram has characteristic properties that include the ability to affect the DNA that occupies specific positions within the biohologram. In such a situation the nervous system constitutes, first and foremost, a coordination mechanism that integrates DNA projections across all of the cells in the biohologram—aligning these cellular holograms and linking the whole creature hologram.

Affirming, basically, that all the world’s a stage, Miller certainly sets the stage for explaining just how a simulated dreamscape or simulacrum might play out in biological terms.

Alongside Western biology, even Eastern medicine has for a long time been busy reinterpreting its data from an unapologetically holographic perspective. Naturopath 42

Stephen Linsteadt in “Frequency Fields at the Cellular Level” noted some years ago, Dr. Ralph Alan Dale, director of the Acupuncture Education Center in North Miami Beach, Florida, after spending the last two decades tracking down clinical and research data from China, Japan, and Germany, has accumulated evidence of eighteen different microacupuncture holograms in the body, including one in the hands, feet, arms, neck, tongue, and even gums.

Dale feels that these microsystems are “holographic reiterations of the gross anatomy” and believes there are still other such systems waiting to be discovered. In a notion reminiscent of David Bohm’s assertion that every electron in some way contains the cosmos, Dale hypothesizes that every finger, and even every cell, may contain its own acupuncture microsystem.

It is this holographic characteristic of the body’s energy field that provides physical, mental, emotional and spiritual feedback into areas of incoherence.

Now flash-forward to The Simulated Multiverse. The description alone to this fascinating exploration in which an MIT computer scientist, Rizwan Virk, digs into the simulation hypothesis is compelling.

“If we are living in a simulated universe, composed of information that is rendered around us, then many of the complexities and baffling characteristics of our reality start to make more sense,” we read. “In particular the two most popular interpretations of quantum mechanics, the Copenhagen Interpretation and the Many Worlds interpretation, which are thought to be mutually exclusive, can be unified in an information based framework.

“Quantum computing lets us simulate complex phenomena in parallel, allowing the simulation to explore many realities at once to find the most ‘optimum’ path forward. Could this explain not only the enigmatic Mandela Effect but provide us with a new understanding of time and space?”

I’d add that the simulation hypothesis also gives us an insightful way of viewing the “physical” space-time of Dewey Larson’s controversial but compelling Reciprocal System of physical theory—about which I’ve written a great deal in both my fiction and nonfiction—and its complement, the “quantum” domain of time-space.

From the perspective of the simulation hypothesis, we could say the simulacrum is space-time, while what gives rise to this realm is the “motherboard” of time-space. One could also—since we’re discussing reciprocal theory—flip these and consider the dynamic in the inverse. Regardless, the two inextricably linked domains create a kind of unified field in which one system gives rise to another.

“But,” those unable to stomach simulation theory will shout, “there’s NO WAY none of this is real! How is that even scientifically achievable?”

It’s just this type of unimaginative question to which Geraint Lewis, professor of astrophysics at the University of Sydney, is responding in his 2012 article “Alert: You May Be Living in a Simulated Universe” when he writes, We are always limited by the power of computing, but as computers get bigger and faster, so does the detail within our synthetic universes.

But let’s imagine a time in the future, a time when computers are powerful enough to fully simulate a human brain, with its vast array of interconnected neurons.

These neurons obey the laws of physics, and fire as their chemical balances change. Thoughts would echo around this synthetic brain, with electrical signals coursing backwards and forwards.

Not being a philosopher, I will ignore the (seemingly endless) debates about free will and consciousness, but if you take a purely mechanical view of the human brain, the synthetic brain will be as “alive” as the organic brain that made it.

In 2016 I was given permission to republish an excellent overview of simulation theory (referenced previously) by Jon Rappoport, who cites a study (also from 2012) from Bonn University when he explains, The study proposes that cosmic rays undergo a strange energy shift. The energies are “re-fitted” to align with an underlying pattern or lattice. There is only one proper fit; no exceptions are permitted.

If the lattice is, indeed, a basic pixel-like Reality we are interacting with every day of our lives, then we could be living inside a created artifice.

A simulation.

Put this description alongside the hypothesis that the universe is a hologram: lines of code inscribed on a two45

Sol Luckman dimensional surface deliver instructions on how the lattice is built, and what its properties are.

In other words, the software which holographically projects the universe includes the exact structure of the lattice.

Then, by the rules of the game, energies which don’t automatically plug into the lattice framework precisely as they’re supposed to are “snapped to” a correct fit, as Mike Adams … has suggested.

Mike has made the analogy to a television picture, which consists of pixels that have their own dimensions and structure.

So if we imagine an all-encompassing “television picture,” this would be the lattice-controlled reality we live in.

Adams further develops this concept when he proposes, “Our universe, it turns out, is digital, not analog. Heck, even your DNA is digital, not analog. You are a digitized physical being imbued with a non-material consciousness that transcends this physical simulation.”

Even bestselling science author Gregg Braden has recently been willing to consider the mounting evidence supporting simulation theory.

What do we do with all this talk of holographic DNA, when a whole camp of “truthers” has just called the genetic code itself a psyop, creating yet another contested terrain in this slippery “reality” where “truth” keeps sliding around?

We lump it in with all the other dualities clashing here as yet another divide-and-conquer ruse used by the Great Parasite to control and loosh the minds and hearts of the population.

If we can basically throw the scientific method out the window, who cares if there’s disagreement over the existence of DNA? None of this “reality” is real to begin with. As the spaghetti of competing conspiracy theories has shown, there are dozens of equally effective, plausible ways to bring down a couple of skyscrapers.

We’re making it all up through our observations and beliefs. And the things that we make up take on a “reality” to the extent they’re imbued with our observational energy.

All seeming dualities are merely aspects of the dreamscape programming, part of the Control Matrix that seeks to keep the students in the spiritual classroom—us— from figuring out that none of this is ACTUALLY happening.

What is happening, apparently, in one of the most mindbending circle jerks imaginable, is that the dreamscape acts as an intelligent medium that feeds back to us the very proof we require to sustain our own belief systems that inform our particular observed experience of … the dreamscape.

How else do we explain so many fisticuffs in which otherwise intelligent groups arrive at diametrically opposed conclusions based on “scientific” observation and experimentation?

Here’s where I started out with this (il)logically kaleidoscopic way of understanding “reality” all the way back in 2005 in Conscious Healing (cue the haters for quoting myself again, and know that I’ll be doing this throughout this ebook): Looking at the human body as a congealed thought, which at first may strike the reader as strange, is in the final analysis deeply empowering. Repeatedly, quantum physicists have demonstrated that a scientist always and inevitably affects the outcome of an experiment simply by observing it, a realization now universally accepted in the scientific community as the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.

Even more amazing is the paradigm-altering discovery that gave rise to the … particle-wave duality: the probability that the physicist actually creates the quantum particles he or she observes, since in unobserved states these particles appear to exist only as waves.

A fundamental and revolutionary truth emerges from this information: consciousness creates. As human beings imbued with free will, we can use the power of our consciousness to re-create our reality: including but not limited to a body, mind and spirit free of disease.

I emphasize “re-create” because, clearly, we already inhabit one creation. The world as we know it is based on the principle of duality. Another way of stating this is that a dualized or divided consciousness, one that already saw itself as separate from other consciousnesses, including unity or God consciousness, gave birth to the universe as humans typically experience it: a battleground between good and evil, light and dark, right and wrong, “us” and “them.”

But duality is not merely a philosophy; it is a physical state of being as well. The very atoms that make up our cells are founded on positive and negative charges whose opposition sustains a certain life-form. Years ago, Lipton coined the phrase “biology of consciousness” to summarize the transformational idea that living organisms, including humans, rather than being empirical givens, are actually malleable thought-forms. In other words, adopting a quantum perspective, we are basically waves that only cohere as particles through an act of consciousness. By 48

The World Cult & You changing our consciousness, we change our physical form and functioning.

So, does the holographic nature of our world automatically make our experience of the simulated dreamscape meaningless? Absolutely and emphatically not.

If we’re indeed running “life sims” like a species trying to figure out how to survive and/or evolve, what matters is what we learn from the experience, not what we are (or are not) during it.

Or if some other learning “program” is running here, which I think may be likely, that must possess meaning, too.

While we can legitimately debate the nature of the Oversoul, or even whether there is one, and conjecture (as has Nick Bostrom most prominently) as to why humans could have found (and lost) themselves in a simulacrum to begin with, what could possibly be the specific rationale for such apparent madness, one thing we can’t dispute and maintain our intellectual honesty: When examined closely, “reality” appears manifestly managed, contrived.

Depending on your level of indoctrination in the World Cult, this phenomenon can be hard to see. But once you’ve seen the unreality of reality, it’s incredibly hard to unsee.

As I’ll go into later in this ebook, upon reflection, research and reference to my inner gnosis, I don’t believe the world is a technological artifact at all. It appears far more complicated and nuanced than any computer program, however advanced.

That said, I trust I’ve given you some food for thought as to possible ways such a construct as ours might be constructed and what some of the repercussions of inhabiting a simulated dreamscape might be.

4 How to Navigate “Reality” without Becoming Shipwrecked on the Desert Island of a CULT “It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.” —Philip K. Dick Don’t Just Keep Your Eyes Peeled, Keep Your Chin Up, Too

n astute comment I received on an earlier article in this series was this: “It seems to be part of the human condition to want to belong. Which likely means it is one of the soul’s lessons. Probably one of the fine line ones as I suspect we are also not meant to isolate ourselves either.”

To which I replied: “Yes, it would seem discernment must be balanced with ... balance.”

So today I’d like to discuss frameworks and concepts— for those of us opting not to be hermits and live in caves— for being in but not of this world composed basically of nested mind-control units, aka cults.

Faced with the nauseating ubiquity of cultists (all potentially Agent Smiths ready to go medieval on you pending the right MKUltra trigger) in this funhouse Matrix where nobody is what they seem and most people have no clue who they are, it’s extremely tempting to become a misanthrope, defined by Merriam-Webster as “a person who hates or distrusts humankind.”

We’re talking about the visceral, totally understandable temptation to write off the human species—with precious few exceptions—as mere variations on Jonathan Swift’s 51

“militant Yahoos” (as described in Gulliver’s Travels), about whom he made this feel-good observation: “A soldier is a ‘Yahoo’ hired to kill in cold blood as many of his own Species, who have never offended him, as possibly he can.”

For the record I address Swift’s dark satirical vision in the introduction to my own award-winning book of satire, The Angel’s Dictionary, so I’ve given his sobering perspective a good deal of thought.

Here, however, in a rare moment of unfaithfulness to the greatest satirist in English literature, I must side with fellow satirist William Makepeace Thackeray of Vanity Fair fame, who described Swift as “an immense genius” but also, given the latter’s ultimately self-defeating negativity, “an awful downfall and ruin.”

Thackeray might as well have been describing many of today’s “truthers” who have fallen for the Matrix’s uberclever psyop for those with would-be penetrating minds, a ninja-level tactic employed by the grand “AI” running this asylum elucidated in this famous quote by Friedrich Nietzsche: Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster ... for when you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

I put this sentiment slightly differently in the foregoing meme that has ruffled more than a few feathers among those resolute research-and-decode-oriented cultists committed to fighting tooth and nail against the Machine even if it means throwing the baby out with the bathwater (over and over).

So how do we avoid a Swiftian outcome when confronting so much of what appears to be pure evil?

How do we maintain a lighter, more Thackerayan approach to the veritable Bonfire of the Vanities raging apparently uncontrollably all around us?

Dispensing with the Problem of “Evil” First, using a kind of classic aikido move of our own against our spiritual adversary, the Ninja Parasite who lords it over this place, we need to transcend the notion of “evil” once and for all.

As in: we must just let the idea of evil go.

“Evil” is arguably the single biggest psyop in the history of the world. Certainly, it’s the sexiest.

“Evil” is a psyop because it falsely places agency and free will outside ourselves, disempowering us in one fell swoop from the ground up.

It’s a psyop because it automatically forces those who buy into it into simultaneous, self-abnegating victim 53

consciousness and (social) justice warrior modes—a recipe for disaster.

It’s a psyop because it naturally separates people into warring camps of “right” versus “wrong.” See religion. See politics. See “science.” See conspiracy theories. See “truther” communities. See multi-level marketing companies. See cults of all stripes and persuasions.

Here’s the part where we check off the hard existential questions. (Diehard materialists, cynics and skeptics might want to find another, more palatable ebook to read …) √ What if what we call evil is merely part of the Gameboard designed to test us in this grand simulation, shamanic dreamscape or whatever you wish to call what we’re experiencing? √ What if “evil” is simply the manifestation of the adversary archetype, the necessary opponent on our personal and collective Hero’s Journey as defined in the work of Joseph Campbell? √ What if, as the English Romantic poet John Keats proposed, the ultimate purpose of this realm is to serve as a “vale of Soul-making,” a crucible filled with refiner’s fire for forging us into our highest and best expressions? √ What if waking up to the true nature of “evil” as a tutelary guide on this wild ocean ride is a necessary threshold to pass through on our way sailing out of victim into genuine unity consciousness? √ What if we’ll never be able to manifest the life and world we desire if we perpetuate our inner as well as the outer duality in our thoughts, words, and deeds? √ What if our belief in evil is precisely the power creating and sustaining it, the veritable wind in evil’s sails?

Consider for a moment that NEO, while fighting harder and harder, was losing bigtime to Agent Smith—and that it was only when he stopped fighting and became ONE with his adversary that he overcame him.

The “Truth” of the Matter If we’ve managed to come to terms with “evil,” the next crucial step on our sea voyage to legitimate sovereignty in body, mind and spirit is to grasp that “truth” is the second biggest psyop in the history of the world.

The utterly useless and senseless idea that “the truth will set you free” is pure bunk, yet people quaff this kind of cult Kool-Aid constantly as if their very salvation depends on it.

Not a day goes by that I don’t encounter a meme about “truth” or the “true” nature of this (somehow real) reality in my (cringing) boat trips around that CULT of Cults that is the desert island of social media.

My response to all such memes (some of which I blush to admit I once created myself) might best be summarized by the following passages from my forthcoming novel, Beginner’s Luke, which I plan to premiere on Substack: DAMNIT, we must DO something! I, for one, am over RATIONALITY, done with ANSWERS, fed up not just with petty LIES but equally with pedestrian TRUTHS, athirst for more meaningful QUESTIONS, hungry for more genuine FEELINGS, chomping at the bit to push my IMAGINATIVE LIMITS beyond the tedious delineation of the QUOTIDIAN into a veritable LYRICAL RENAISSANCE. In short, I propose an alternative (and certainly unusual) STRATEGY for reinflating a SHRUNKEN UNIVERSE.

Materialists and other cult dupes downplaying the creative power of our consciousness while sailing on the Ship of Fools known as the Collective (which, by the way, includes vast numbers of folks firmly convinced they’re outside the Collective) loathe this way of looking at things.

They categorically refuse to seriously entertain the full implications of the idea that “truth” might be nothing but fool’s gold in a simulated, observer-generated construct such as our watery home.

They conveniently ignore the tacit admission from the Cult of Science itself that there’s no there there even when it comes to matter, which ends up endlessly receding into nothingness as it becomes mere whorls of energy.

They self-righteously ridicule anyone with the audacity to propose that Mandela and Heisenberg Effects are the rule, not the exception.

Truly, if I may even use this word in this context, our world is a well-oiled slope into the yawning maw of the unknown, and this drives control-freak rationalists and their ilk quite literally insane.

Such folks remind me of my greenhorn eponymous narrator, Luke (a self-described “wayward mariner”), in the following scene before he comes to terms with the fact that he’s actually imagining everything he’s experiencing—the good, the bad and the ugly of his “reality”: Faced with so much knowledge, the long history of human accomplishment, I’d become obsessed with learning it ALL. I’d convinced myself that in order to write about my imaginary experience of the world, I had to know the world by rote, inside and out, front and back, like a sonnet or an ode I could memorize and store away for future reference.

As if truth, loyal to the expression, actually possessed a handle I could someday hold onto.

Vanity! When do we ever know THE TRUTH? It’s always changing. It evolves as we do: we cultivate different truths as we become different people.

I didn’t know this then. I didn’t understand that the plain and simple truth is, there is no plain and simple truth. I didn’t comprehend that what passes for empirical knowledge is at best a sincere fool’s delusion.

It hadn’t yet penetrated my thick skull that a temporal boundary dogs even the most inert of us like a shadow, six 56

The World Cult & You months or so behind, so that what we’ve experienced in the past six months belongs intimately to us, is part of who and what we are … whereas the events beyond the line are somehow foreign, legendary if not mythical, as if belonging to someone else’s story.

I still hadn’t learned to live with the six-month line. I feared change. I longed for a classical universe, a finite world with immutable laws I could master with hard work … and a little talent.

Here’s the rub with only doing things halfway: Even after getting rid of the concept of “evil,” if you’re still wedded to the psyop of “truth,” you remain easily manipulable by the Gameboard.

The “AI” (more on this problematic term soon) will have no problem whatsoever whipsawing you and those other cultists who disagree with your “truth” into antagonistic camps in the name of “science” (or some other religion), 57

Build Your Inventories, Then Toss Them in the Sea I’m NOT saying not to think—and think critically at that.

I’m NOT saying not to seek “truth.”

I’m NOT saying not to look “evil” in its red, lidless eye.

These are important stepping stones, islands for hopping across, if you will, on the path to liberating ourselves from the World Cult.

We all start out believing this shit is real. If we didn’t, well, what would be the point of the illusion?

The more we believe in it, the more real the delusion gets—until, at some point in the evolution of our consciousness (should we dare to go there) from the reptilian up to possibly the “angelic” level, it becomes surreal on its way to revealing itself as simply … unreal.

It’s at this point that we can continue to build our theories around “truth,” so long as we’re willing to throw them overboard when they start weighing and slowing down the speedboat of our life.

This is essentially what Don Juan recommends to Carlos Castaneda when he tells him to feel free to build his truth inventories, so long as he promptly burns them and starts over.

Or better yet, we can simply leave the false dichotomy of “fact” and “fiction” behind altogether as we embrace our identity as Consciousness Artists imaginatively building the “realities” we observe.

We build them all the time anyway, even when we’re unaware of this phenomenon and end up constructing a prison planet on behalf of our manipulators. “Everyone secretly wants to be owned,” wrote Alicen Grey with cultpiercing pith.

So why not become conscious of how the Gameboard actually works and start using our awareness to our advantage for a change?

Henceforth, we can choose to operate in passionately dispassionate creator-observer mode, watching it all go down like a fantastic movie that we realize we’re simultaneously directing and starring in.

In short, we can reclaim our power from cults of all types and sizes by going in on our way out of here.

This is where the party really starts, where we put the FUN in the funhouse and pop some popcorn to enjoy the shitshow from our beach chairs while it lasts. Just don’t forget your sunscreen, preferably organic.

5 You Might NOT Be a Freethinker, But a CULT Member Instead, If ...

(Take the Quiz to Make Sure Your Spirit Will Survive Your Hardcore Indoctrination)

rom my perspective as writer here in this little “dialogic” (with a nod to the renowned philosopher of consciousness Mikhail Bakhtin) social interaction we’re having, this rather tongue-in-cheek chapter actually starts and ends with a completely serious observation: If you’re a member of Western society (or perhaps any society anytime, anywhere), you qualify—practically by definition—as a cult member, one who has been subjected to wave after wave of intensive indoctrination since birth.

This is a perspective I suggest is absolutely critical to consider for anyone truly desiring to “break free” of the stranglehold of this manifestly insane world and the millions of marketable minions maintaining its illusions designed to enslave the human body, mind, and spirit— often while being cleverly disguised as freedom fighters, patriots, social justice warriors, “truthers,” and the like.

The ugly reality (if I can use that word) of this free-forall freakshow is that cults are everywhere—around, above, below, and—most perilously—inside.

You can’t ignore cults. In some ways these days, it’s practically impossible to get anything done without them.

As a practical experiment of living on the fringes of Cultilandia, I’ve gone for years now—actually, ever since 61

the advent of the cellphone, if you can believe it—without one of my own.

I detail my experience of “going sober” in the age of technology addiction and other thoughts to do with cellphones in my new book about my years spent painting and bodysurfing on Hilton Head in South Carolina’s fabled Lowcountry, Musings from a Small Island. Here’s a sample of the relevant chapter: It’s true that going without a cellphone does create minor inconveniences. I can’t text my way through uncomfortable social gatherings. I can’t waste my time—and yours—snapping selfies and posting them to Instagram. I can’t even enjoy a stressbusting moment of watching porn from behind the wheel of my SUV. But the trade-off is worth it. I feel freer not having a cellphone.

I feel healthier not irradiating my brain with every long-distance conversation. I’m not constantly at other people’s beck and call like a property manager with a pager. I’m not forever tempted to hog-tie myself to a virtual reality while ignoring ... reality.

Perhaps most importantly, I don’t have to give away my cellphone number to social media platforms harvesting my data so that my every move (on and offline) can be tracked by alphabet agencies.

Can you hear me now?

Rather than being beacons of progress, cellphones encapsulate much of what is wrong with modern society. They’re the epitome of a bizarre combination of extreme narcissism and comatose disregard for the loss of privacy, sovereignty and safety that stem from blindly giving away one’s power to corporations ... including that ubercorporation known as the government.

Basically, whether we’re talking about the cult of smartphones or some other dumb one, if you don’t want to be entirely cultified tiptoeing through the tulips of this controlled construct, you have three functional strategies where cults are concerned: 1. Identify them; 62

The World Cult & You 2. Neutralize their harmful impact on you; and 3. Avoid them, whenever possible, like the frigging plague.

The more cults (official as well as clandestine) seem to provide benefits (spiritual or otherwise), the more important it is that you divest yourself from (or at least minimize your dependence on) them as soon as possible because this means they’re powerful—and the more powerful the cult, the more power it draws from its members.

Social media is a prime example of what I’m envisioning here. Organized religion is another. Politics is a third.

Scientism would be a fourth. Be creative, add your own.

When I say “power,” I mean that in various ways.

Money and resources can be and are easily siphoned off cultists who let their guard down. Think: internet bills, church tithing, parking tickets, college tuition, unfair taxes.

Similarly, when engaging a cult, the ability to make one’s own decisions can be whittled away to literally nothing in the blink of an eye.

Even your vital energy, your life force, can be drained to virtually zero without your even knowing it.

This is actually a lot more common than you might think. In fact, many shamans and seers maintain that humans are literally being fed on by an advanced predatory being (or species of beings), one that can actually be seen in certain states of consciousness, responsible for organizing our society as—to put it bluntly—a gigantic food chain leading ultimately to … itself.

This—the extraction of loosh for utilization by the “God” of this world—is perhaps the most pernicious of all cult consequences—and it’s probably the main reason for the existence of cults to begin with.

I’ve called this being the Lord Archon or Demiurge following the Gnostic tradition, a motif that figures prominently in my dystopian novel (based partly on John Lamb Lash’s absorbing research into mind parasites), Cali the Destroyer.

Keeping in mind that this is a work of “fiction,” it’s easy to read between the lines of my narrative to see how it directly applies to the “reality” construct we exist in. The following dialogue elucidating this fascinating dynamic is between my heroine, Cali, and her wise grandmother, Kali, starting with the latter: “The Illuminati are the willing terrestrial servants of the Lord Archon, who demands everything from pedophilia and child sacrifice to war and chaos as offerings that create loosh.”

“Never heard of it.”

“Loosh is a hyperdimensional energy given off by the human soul when traumatized. The Archons parasitically feed on it.

Think of it as their simulacrum of kundalini.”

“Why is seemingly everything the Archons do counterfeit?”

“Because they lack the capacity to create anything truly original. In their insane jealousy, they can only mimic the divinely instilled creative capacity of the Anthropos.”

“So are the Illuminati still technically even … human?”

“That is a probing question. If the definition of a human is a child of the Goddess in possession of an immortal soul and the ability to invent, the answer would most certainly be no.” […]

“Don’t the Illuminati realize they’re just pawns in someone else’s game?”

“Even if they realize this, I will wager they are beyond caring.

They have been completely integrated into the AI.” “The AI?” “The Artificial Intelligence. This is another term for the Archontic hive mind. It is a binary operating system that imitates the many shades of gray characteristic of human intelligence— 64

“Good versus evil?”

“Man versus woman. Rich versus poor. East versus West.

Liberal versus conservative. Take your pick. Anytime you see dichotomies that ignore the human experiment’s infinite nuances, you can be certain you are encountering the Archontic mind.”

In my humble opinion, it really doesn’t matter what we call this inhuman(e) force, though.

It doesn’t even matter how we characterize it: as some kind of AI (which I consider something of a puerile fantasy, a subject for another day), or an “inorganic being” from the dream world as in the highly influential cosmology of Carlos Castaneda and the so-called Toltec seers, or the “Notnilc” download that Matt McKinley of the Quantum of Conscience YouTube channel discusses in Unnamed Reality Book, etc.

The most crucial concept to grasp here is that the “Lord of the Earth” exists, purposely or otherwise, to teach us how to stand up for ourselves, break the bonds of its hypnosis and become truly and utterly sovereign in body, mind and spirit by exiting its various prison cells, aka cults.

From this vantage it’s even possible to entertain the notion that we ourselves—or some “higher” aspect of ourselves—are involved in creating and/or sustaining our daunting spiritual adversary in this realm, as I touch on in a number of my interviews available on my Substack.

If we’re to awaken to the real (pardon the word) lay of Cultilandia, we’d do well to start by coming to terms with the very practical fact (again, I beg your pardon) that unless we’re willing to do the difficult work of examining our own ties to cultism and stepping out of slavery into sovereignty, we’re something else’s dinner.

6 The 33 Most Common Categories of CULT Handlers (How to Identify Your Own or Someone Else’s Keepers) “Am I my brother’s keeper?” —Genesis 4:9 Summary

o far in this ebook I’ve proposed that society can be conceptualized as a set of interconnected cults designed to keep the sheeple policing each other’s thoughts, words and deeds so that no one ever fundamentally changes the stultifying status quo of the Matrix we call home.

I’ve also looked at the simulation hypothesis and the “science” behind it even while questioning the “scientific method” and the possibility of knowledge itself in an observer-based “reality” dreamscape.

Additionally, I’ve explored the ways in which—in this hyper-manipulated construct—the sheeple are kept in their (self-)limiting lanes through an interactive process in which their own interests become liabilities that end up mentally and emotionally (and sometimes even physically) enslaving them. This phenomenon runs the gamut from mainstream culture to fundamentalism to the “truther” community.

I’ve also traveled even deeper down the rabbit hole, examining the ultimate psyops of “evil” and “truth” (among others) in setting up the sheeple as an energetic 71

Last but not least, I’ve taken a hard look at so-called truthers and the “truther” movement as “alternative” cults for those sheeple who are too quick to be ensnared by the everyday cults designed for comparatively doltish normies.

Getting a Handle on Handlers This chapter breaks new ground by examining an intrinsic feature of all cults, whether they call themselves cults or disguise themselves as something seemingly innocuous or even anti-cultish: handlers.

“Handler” can mean various things, but the following definition sourced online from The Free Dictionary is the one we’re after: handler: (noun) one who trains or exhibits an animal, such as a dog.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the point I’m making is: Cult members, even and perhaps especially those who don’t identify as such, are essentially little more than trained animals (i.e., sheeple) in the dog and pony show that is this “reality” of artifice and artificiality.

Entrainment to the controlling frequency of the cult— and the raison d’être for cults begins and ends with energy, aka power—can involve subterfuge, bribery, coercion, violence, old-fashioned brainwashing and other means to lead sheeple to offer up their precious loosh (in the form of their life force, life savings, life plans, reasons for living, etc.) to their cult masters all the way up the food chain they’re sustaining.

If you think for one second anything I’m describing here is hyperbole or far-fetched, you’re definitely drinking the 72

cult Kool-Aid. Perhaps you’d like to hop a ride on a comet to heaven or enter the Great Pyramid in search of salvation.

There are expert cult handlers trained in the venerable art of mental manipulation. There are also excellent cult handlers with no formal training; and some, perhaps most, of these are unaware they even belong to a cult and have no idea whatsoever they’re actually cult handlers.

This is the super-spy genius of the Great Parasite at the top of the shitheap of this illusion: it can co-opt anybody into virtually anything without anybody being any the wiser.

Stop Fighting for “Reality” & Embrace the Mystery I get that my message may be disturbing. Keep in mind, though, as difficult as it may be, that I’m just the messenger.

Please don’t shoot me. But of course, if you’re a cult member, you’ll almost certainly be tempted to.

A major part of my message is: walking the path of awakening is basically to stare deeper and deeper into an ever larger and weirder “reality.”

All starts and finishes in mystery. To think otherwise is to engage in infantile narcissism and extreme hubris.

Try debunking anything in a way that can’t be debunked and honestly assess whether there’s anything “real” at all when it comes to what we so cavalierly dub the “real world.”

Why not stop fighting, arguing and (in some cases) dying for a fake real and start exploring the real mystery that’s all around us?

“This is a hoax.” “That’s a hoax.” We hear such mantras endlessly tossed about all the bloody time by today’s increasingly reactionary, laughably adolescent “truthers,” the ubernaive ones that form the majority Matt McKinley likes to call “first grade truthers” who are just embarking on their YouTube “education.”

But paradoxically, in a dreamlike or simulated world of maya where “facts” can and do change on a regular basis (even “scientific” pillars such as the speed of light, as detailed by Rupert Sheldrake in a TED Talk broadly censored by the social media arm of the World Cult), the irony is that “reality” itself is the one and only hoax.

Inside the master hoax of this fake construct, there can be no hoaxes, properly speaking, for the simple reason that everything here is unreal to the extent that it’s a construct of consciousness.

Digging a Hole to China Now, for shits and giggles, picture all the little “truthers” out there thinking they’ve figured it all out—or at least a big part of it … whatever “it” is.

They’re, in essence, children playing in a sandbox they think is a real world. And if they can be convinced of that, they can be convinced they can dig a hole to China (from, say, North America).

I remember trying to do this as a kid. And do you know how far I got? About three and a half feet.

The plot twist in this storyline is that maybe “truthers” can dig a hole to China—if they can sync up their imaginations powerfully enough. The way in which the human ability to create the human experience is hijacked by way of the World Cult and what we can do about it are the subjects of the next chapter.

For present purposes, however, can you see how such a scenario—allowing ourselves to be convinced that we’ve arrived at objective truth in a realm of subjective illusion— easily mires people in cultlike cognitive dissonance and resulting reactivity?

Literally, such people often have what amounts to at least short-lived mental breakdowns when confronted with information that contradicts their worldview.

But you can’t have it both ways. The cult leader of an increasingly popular “truther” channel I’ve mentioned previously loves to boast (while publicly shaming other researchers and chest-thumping) that he doesn’t “practice exclusions” in his analysis of the simulacrum. But actually, his entire analysis is based on data exclusions.

If you want to be taken seriously by anyone who really knows how to think, you simply can’t admit to living in an observer-based dreamscape or simulation, on the one hand, and purport to deal in hard “facts” at the same time. That’s an insane contradiction and a recipe for crazy talk, which is practically omnipresent these days.

The Imagination: An Operational “Truth” If anything comes close to an operational “truth” in this construct that appears intelligently designed to keep us off 75

track with its multitude of slippery inclines, it’s that our imaginations are the real engine creating everything we experience: the positive, the negative, and the strange.

This doesn’t just happen at the micro level, as many reality apologists would have us believe; this is a macro effect as well. If it happens anywhere, it happens everywhere.

As above, so below. As within, so without. No exclusions.

No excuses.

We, the observers of this “reality,” are fundamentally responsible for determining whether it behaves as a particle or a wave, whether one thing becomes “quantumly entangled” with something else, and even its very nature, ultimately.

Unfortunately, our innate ability to individually and collectively create worlds has been usurped by (hat tip to Matt Taibbi) the Great Vampire Squid, the Lord of this freakscape, through its network of cults and cult handlers that act like tentacles reaching into the hearts and minds of men and women everywhere.

Like domestic animals we’ve been trained when, where and what to eat; when and where to defecate, urinate and fornicate; how to think, what to believe, and how to behave (often abysmally) toward those with different thoughts and beliefs.

How Are You Being Handled?

The primary thrust of this chapter has been to alert you to the often sly and always oppressive cult dynamic and its players that exist all around you.

Truly, you’re a stranger in a strange land—and the sooner you acknowledge this situation, the sooner you can begin developing an escape plan.

7 How the Human Ability to Create “Reality” Is Hijacked by the Great Parasite atop the World CULT & What You Can Do about It “Truly, you’re a stranger in a strange land—and the sooner you acknowledge this situation, the sooner you can begin developing an escape plan.” —Yours Truly Setting the Stage: Grokking the Gameboard

T

he epigraph to this chapter, a self-quote lifted from the previous one, is a reference to Robert A. Heinlein’s 1961 novel Stranger in a Strange Land, which is without a doubt a meditation on the World Cult, with numerous hard-hitting revelations such as: “Man is so built that he cannot imagine his own death. This leads to endless invention of religions.”

In this classic sci-fi novel (which ironically started out as a “cult favorite”), Heinlein also coined the neologism “grok.”

This term can mean to innerstand (another, more recent neologism and a pretty good synonym) so as to—by way of empathy—create rapport and sympathetic communication with a person, place, thing, or idea.

“Grok” can also mean to enjoy something. In this usage it’s comparable to the somewhat archaic (now) “dig.” As in: “How I dig rock ‘n’ roll!”

So let’s spend a little time together grokking (in both senses of the term) the Gameboard of this realm.

By “Gameboard” I mean the stage our so-called reality plays out on. We might imagine it—to get the gist of something infinitely more complex, nuanced, and “organic”—as a holographic grid somewhat like what the Tron and Matrix franchises present.

Shakespeare’s oft-cited notion that “All the world’s a stage” couldn’t be more appropriate here. As I’ve quipped on numerous occasions, it’s technically a stage we’re passing through, but it’s a stage nonetheless.

Contrary to what we’re taught over years of rigorous cult indoctrination through the proverbial meat grinder known as “education” (think: The Wall), as I touched on earlier in this ebook, what we call the world isn’t an a priori material reality. I’d go so far as to say it isn’t material at all.

The falling tree definitely doesn’t make a peep if no one’s around because the Gameboard of “reality” is a function of conscious energy appearing to materialize during the instant of observation, only to disappear immediately into quark (or some other imaginary particle) soup again when no one’s looking.

This is a critical point, one that needs to be emphasized over and over, since ignoring it trips up many a would-be truther as s/he tumbles down the rabbit hole of thinking there’s anything resembling objective truth or something irreducibly real in this warped funhouse of subjectivity and unreality.

It’s ALL in Your Mind Get that straight or you don’t get to pass go. Instead, you receive some serious jail time in YouTube “truther” hell, along with all your buddies likewise hoodwinked by the Cult of Materialism.

My position—which I’ve maintained through numerous books and articles over the decades—is that, at least for practical purposes, the world doesn’t exist outside our perception of it.

This view is in alignment with the shamanic notion that we possess an “Assemblage Point” in our energy field that temporarily—until the point moves to another location through accident, design, or death—crystallizes a seemingly real vision of a world … with ourselves at the center.

I’m going all the way here, not merely paying homage to the primacy of consciousness while clinging desperately to the illusion of materialism. So when I speak of an “observer-based reality,” know that this is where I’m coming from.

“Reality” is a fabrication through and through, something very much like a stage production, a piece of theater that, in ways that defy logic and make the situation truly difficult to grok, we’re involved in directing, acting in and spectating—all at once.

Postmodern literature and literary theory (including my own contributions thereto) have zeroed in on the extreme subjectivity of “reality” for decades.

But postmodernism is hardly alone in its assessment that the construct I’m calling the Gameboard begins and ends with our paying attention to it while somehow—like a painter with a blank canvas—creatively projecting scenes onto it between this fake reality’s bookends. (Mixed metaphors duly noted.)

On the subject of books … Recall that in my first published one, Conscious Healing back in 2005, I examined what quantum physics had to say about the interplay between consciousness and our experience of the world and concluded with an aphorism: consciousness creates.

And in 2022, nearly twenty years after I wrote those words, the Nobel Prize was awarded to physicists purporting to prove that reality isn’t locally real.

Personally, I place as much faith in science, or “séance,” as I do in the Easter Bunny. In the final analysis, both are merely products of focalizing the assembly function of the imagination—as is everything else in this realm.

That said, it’s fascinating that so many (more and more, actually) ostensibly disconnected disciplines end up arriving at essentially the same conclusion: the Gameboard closely resembles the ancient concept of maya.

A similar view of the fantasy we call reality shows up in numerous religions and belief systems from east to west.

Aboriginal dreamtime is one example. Shamanism, as noted, is another.

Even in Christianity the faithful are constantly reminded they’re just passing through this world of shadows on their way to their true reward in heaven, presumed to be real since it’s so mind-numbingly everlasting.

A common interpretation in these days of hi-tech supersaturation is that the Gameboard is something like a videogame or computer simulation, as Nick Bostrom has famously argued in Superintelligence.

I wrote a good deal in support of the simulation hypothesis before I came to my intuitive senses and started to use my inner gnosis to … grok the far more “holistic” and “natural” qualities of the Gameboard.

The Problem with “Artificial Intelligence” AI is a joke. I don’t have a better way of putting it.

If you believe that ChatGPT and the like are (or will ever be) anything more alive and “intelligent” than fast processors and fancy algorithms, I’ve got some lakefront property across the Ice Wall in Tartaria I’d like to sell you.

A deal-breaking snafu with the simulation hypothesis is that it simply doesn’t believably account—just as the Terminator, Tron and Matrix movies don’t believably account—for the introduction of genuine consciousness that would be necessary to transform our present technology into the obviously self-aware construct we find ourselves getting lost in.

To think that transhumanism (particularly its primary fetish, sentient machines) is anything more than an adolescent wet dream designed to loosh humanity with falsehood, fear and frothing at the mouth is to be a menu item for an actual Intelligence that has comfortably corralled you along with the rest of its food supply.

To address just one example of the pervasive misinterpretation of the spiritual adversary lording it over the sheeple in this gigantic human energy farm …

There Is No “Artificial Intelligence X” There. I said it. Even though I’ve written a good deal about AIX, I no longer see it as I used to.

Such simplistic thinking in which the machines have “gone rogue,” in my humble retrospective opinion, is pure schoolboy fantasy, the product of reading too much bad science fiction.

The notion of a massive AI controlling human beings also fosters a twisted sort of lopsided duality in which technology is undeservedly deified (as in transhumanism) while people are seen as inevitably “less than” and somehow destined and/or designed to be controlled.

At my most intuitive level, this simply doesn’t make sense; it further strikes me as yet another divisive narrative planted in the dreamscape by the Great Parasite to divide and conquer us.

There’s only Intelligence X, if you want to call it that (which I don’t). You can toss the “Artificial” part out the window … along with ChatGPT. This isn’t a sterile computer simulation we’re in. This is a wild-ass ride of a prolific imagination!

A veritable ARTISTIC GENIUS has hijacked (or so it would seem) and is busy scripting the Gameboard of this world—a diabolical consciousness on the surface, admittedly, but certainly not a robotic one.

Just when you think you’ve figured out the adversary’s script, just when you believe you’ve decoded its repetitive algorithms and proved that it’s nothing more than the construct’s deus ex machina—BAM!—novelty ensues as all hell breaks loose and suddenly, once again, where the simulacrum is concerned, you grok … nada.

We exist in/on a Gameboard manipulated not by a digitized approximation of sentience playing out with predictable periodicity, but by what seems more like a living, breathing CRIMINAL MASTERMIND with an array of tricks and surprises up its sleeve.

Again, as a reminder: All starts and finishes in mystery. To think otherwise is to engage in infantile narcissism and extreme hubris.

Try debunking anything in a way that can’t be debunked and honestly assess whether there’s anything “real” at all when it comes to what we so cavalierly dub the “real world.”

Mesoamerican shamans refer to our spiritual adversary as Mud Shadows, Flyers, yeyelli, and even the yaotl (the enemy inside), inevitably characterizing it as a sentient form of life from the dream world (nagual or nahual) that feeds on the life force of people here in the tonal, aka “reality.”

I often call it the Great Parasite—as a reminder to myself that it’s simultaneously vast and really gifted at what it does and a living—possibly collective—being of some kind with dubious (because diametrically opposed, as we’ll see) designs where humans are concerned.

Other names for the Great Parasite include Mephistopheles; the Christian Devil, Lucifer, Satan, Baal, Beelzebub, Yahweh, Jehovah and even the Old Testament “God”; Ahriman (“evil spirit” in Middle Persian and popularized in Steinerian mysticism); and the Gnostic Lord Archon, Yaldabaoth, Saklas, Samael, and Demiurge.

In most depictions of the Great Parasite, it appears to be both predatory and mind-controlling. Or to put it slightly differently, it’s a predator that uses mind control to subdue its prey (us).

Strangely, however, the spiritual adversary may also be an aspect of ourselves. Only by being willing to see ourselves in the Great Parasite, I propose, can we grok the ultimate dynamics of the Gameboard—specifically, what its purpose is and what we need to do to win.

Why Are We Even Playing This Psychotic Game?

Many (certainly the majority of those in Materialandia but even many card-carrying members of the consciousness crowd) balk when presented with the notion that the Gameboard is comparable to a colossal classroom for imparting spiritual knowledge.

If this idea rubs you the wrong way, it might just be because there’s something to it. Be willing to “broaden your mind,” as Harry Potter’s Professor Trelawney might say, and for a moment consider the massive implications. At the very least, ask a few obvious questions …

If the Gameboard is a classroom, who created it? What’s our relationship to the Creator? What’s outside the classroom? Did we design our own curriculum before coming here? Where do we go from here?

I’m not saying I have all the answers. Nobody does.

We’re all students, first and foremost, even—especially— those who parade around Cultilandia as gurus.

That said, here are my best answers …

Some aspect of ourselves—call it our Higher Selves—created the Gameboard. Thus we’re both, paradoxically, the Creator and the created. Outside the classroom is an ever-expanding infinity (pardon the oxymoron) of other worlds and experiences. We—or part of us—crafted our curriculum. From here we go—as Dumbledore succinctly yet suggestively puts it in his last conversation with the Chosen One—“on.”

There are other questions relative to the classroom of life that are perhaps not as straightforward to answer. Who are our teachers? What’s a passing grade? And what does it mean to graduate?

As for teachers, clearly we teach each other. We also teach ourselves.

But beyond this self-evident scenario, there’s a devilishly clever Head Teacher that uses a complicated and interactive nexus of cults to teach us about the world and our relationship to it. And that Head Teacher is—you guessed it—that aspect of our own creation I’ve been calling the Great Parasite.

On the one hand, our spiritual adversary uses cults to compartmentalize (i.e., corral) the human herd into more manageable groups.

These groups automatically generate energetic food for the Great Parasite, and they can be played endlessly against or alongside each other to extract even more power from the people.

Note that here I’m describing the Great Parasite in almost “evil” terms. But as I explained previously, evil is a psyop that—if we’re to progress spiritually—we must see through.

Once more, to reiterate the point: “Evil” is a psyop because it falsely places agency and free will outside ourselves, disempowering us in one fell swoop from the ground up.

It’s a psyop because it automatically forces those who buy into it into simultaneous, self-abnegating victim consciousness and (social) justice warrior modes—a recipe for disaster.

It’s a psyop because it naturally separates people into warring camps of “right” versus “wrong.” See religion. See politics. See “science.” See conspiracy theories. See “truther” communities.

See multi-level marketing companies. See cults of all stripes and persuasions.

So if there is no evil, and duality is no way to go, how else might we grok the Great Parasite?

Seen from the opposite perspective, our spiritual adversary is actually our sensei and sparring partner in the dojo of “reality” teaching us—as Morpheus does Neo—how to bend some rules and break others in order to learn the lessons we set for ourselves, receive a passing grade, and fire up our rocket boosters out of here via “graduation.”

A passing grade hinges on disentangling ourselves from the Great Parasite and its network of loosh-siphoning cults.

Think of this as “leveling up” as we accept our fate as spiritual warriors faced with a crafty, powerful opponent; 87

figuratively gird our loins; and progress through the different stages of the game’s various “theaters” (of war).

We’re, in essence—as Max, my young protagonist in Snooze: A Story of Awakening, learns the hard way himself when faced with challenges both natural and supernatural—living the Hero’s Journey.

Graduating involves restoring our own energy and power sufficiently to die consciously, as spiritual warriors, in the shamanic fashion, and move along to the next “reality” with our awareness intact. More on this topic of topics in Chapter 11.

Devoting significant amounts of your time and attention to anything else—and I mean anything—simply isn’t worth it in the grand scheme of things.

Keep your eyes on the only meaningful prize for this Gameboard or you’ll only find yourself sucked into and sucking up in … another cult.

How/Why the Great Parasite Hijacked the Gameboard … & Our Creativity with It If you’re at all confused, maybe this clarification will help.

The Gameboard was created (with, at the very least, our input) as a conscious medium that allows us to “project” our lives (the personal) and world (the Collective) as artists (good or bad).

The Great Parasite is NOT the Gameboard but an Intelligence (nonartificial) that appears to have effected a hostile takeover of this realm, turning what might have been intended as a paradise into a hell on earth for the majority of humankind.

Of course, such a takeover may have been the plan all along and our spiritual adversary is just playing the tutelary role (tough love version) we ourselves may have assigned it.

This latter way of envisioning our situation here, as part of the original plan for our spiritual education, is far more 88

empowering and upbeat than the “soul trap” interpretation of “reality.”

I liken the situation to opting for no viruses over pathogenic ones. If we have to choose between two sides of a duality (not that we always do), why not pick the more positive, harmonious option?

The soul trap, or reincarnation trap, so popular in today’s “truther” community reeks of unresolved issues with parents and other authority figures and strikes me as a brilliant psyop for neutralizing effective spiritual warriorship created by none other than … the Great Parasite!

Which brings up an extremely important point: Inversion is a major hallmark of how the Great Parasite operates.

If something might be spiritually helpful and is known only to a few, the Great Parasite will invert it so as to subvert its basic principle/message and make sure it becomes known to the many.

Thus a tried and true way—for those spiritual warriors committed to winning the game—for seeing through the bullshit is to ignore whatever’s mainstream or even popular.

Or better yet, explore the opposite of whatever’s mainstream or at least popular, since it’s likely to contain information or tools that can assist us on our journey through and around the viper’s nest of cults making up the Gameboard.

As I put it in the chapter titled “The War of Consciousness” in Musings from a Small Island, Seriously, how thick-headed do you have to be to believe anything the federal government and its unofficial mouthpiece, the “free” press, have to say? Here’s a simple rule that works ninety-nine percent of the time: whatever they say is close to the exact opposite of what they actually mean.

Try listening to the news with this rule in mind for a month and see if it doesn’t change your life. Maybe it will change your life for the worse, since it’s likely to induce a period of deep depression, but change is exactly what will happen.

You might come to understand that political correctness has nothing to do with fairness; it’s a weaponized psyop designed to induce people to let others do their thinking for them.

You might realize that patriotic duty is really unpatriotic doodie, defined as the fascistic bullshit our insane government tells us we must do.

You might even finally grasp that “pedophile” is just another name for your average big-time politician.

And when the depression finally passes and your eyes finally see the country you live in for what it is, an open-air prison, you might finally be ready to enlist on the right side in the most important war any of us can ever fight: the War of Consciousness.

I’m sorry to break it to you, if that’s what I’m doing, but the human mind is the front line in the battle for the fate not just of America but the world. The psychopaths who pose as our leaders will do anything to keep the people ignorant, asleep, and controllable.

Consider the coordinated censorship of dissenting voices—a blatantly authoritarian move straight out of 1984 supported by our government—happening across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and the like and appreciate how much power lies in truth for the bloodsuckers who control us to fear it so much. Hashtag that.

The World Cult & You Given the state of things, I offer that it’s the moral and ethical responsibility of anyone who opposes this kind of oppression to serve, morally and ethically, so as to awaken and galvanize the people. Any other kind of so-called service is dirty work for the Deep State, noble motives for enlisting notwithstanding. You’ll probably lose a lot of friends and gain a lot of enemies by speaking up and acting out—but you’ll also save your soul.

A Clarification Also importantly, grok another subtle but critical clarification: Strictly speaking, the Great Parasite didn’t “take over” the Gameboard. It used its mentalist magic to take control of people’s minds first through a kind of hypnotic suggestion on a mass scale. Then its minions themselves did its bidding and began destroying and enslaving each other. Easy-peasy.

A significant corollary of the previous paragraph is this: our spiritual adversary doesn’t appear to be an intrinsic creator through consciousness like ourselves, but needs us to actualize its designs relative to the Gameboard.

This means it must work through people to control and subjugate people. It must also work through people to bring about various scenarios, including doomsday ones.

The more people involved, the more encompassing and intransigent the “reality” created. Thus: cults.

We’re born storytellers, for better or worse. And our stories always come true, one way or another.

So the next time you find yourself listening to a podcast or YouTube channel focused on the Phoenix Phenomenon (which, if you’re familiar with it, seems to happen every 138 years like clockwork, except when it doesn’t, which is rather often), Wormwood, the “plasma apocalypse” or something similarly harrowing, realize that in—an observer-based “reality” that we actually generate through our own internal and external narratives about it—the 91

Lord’s will is most assuredly being done, and that Lord is none other than the Great Parasite.

Don’t you think it’s high time we started telling stories à la Elvis Costello about peace, love and understanding instead?

Winning the Game & Exiting the Gameboard From Wikipedia (again!) …

“Turn on, tune in, drop out” is a counterculture-era phrase popularized by Timothy Leary in 1966. In 1967, Leary spoke at the Human-Be-In, a gathering of 30,000 hippies in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and phrased the famous words, “Turn on, tune in, drop out.” It was also the title of his spoken word album recorded in 1966. On this lengthy album, Leary can be heard speaking in a monotone soft voice on his views about the world and humanity, describing nature, Indian symbols, “the meaning of inner life,” the LSD experience, peace, and many other issues.

I once had a fascinating conversation over an excellent dinner with Timothy Leary, which is a story for another place and time, but here and now I simply wish to suggest that—despite his unfortunate ties to certain dark cults— there was some raw wisdom in his iconic words.

I’ll repeat what I’ve said many times before once again: The only way out is in.

Plugging into the system is a recipe for cultification and death. Ergo, unplugging leads to freedom and life.

For our purposes I’d simply amend Leary’s advice to this: Turn off, tune out, drop out.

An uncompromising turning away from the status quo is the best way I know of to reclaim one’s mind in a Gameboard clearly headed for some intense lessons for the masses. Terence McKenna would agree: “Reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers 92

who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”

Spiritual warriors need not experience the same harsh fate as the sheeple. By unplugging from the system and reclaiming our minds, we can build up our energy (personal power) to the point where we can consciously create our own realities.

This appears to be the ultimate point of the Gameboard: to teach us how to generate other Gameboards.

This is how the Creator, the Alpha and Omega Storyteller, groks more about … itself.

By being spiritual warriors committed to reconnecting with our birthright as empowered Creators of worlds, we 93

8 The “Community” Psyop & Other Tall Tales from the CULT of the Simulacrum (“Yay! Let’s Create Doomsday TOGETHER!”) Meet Your Greatest Teacher, the Great Parasite

A

n important motif in this ebook is that a powerful spiritual adversary I’m calling the Great Parasite challenges those of us open to the challenge (and what a challenge it is!) of consciously evolving ourselves even under a barrage of slings and arrows in the seemingly suicidal circus of this life.

Seen from this holistic angle, the Great Parasite—which “truthers” stuck in the Cult of Duality routinely judge as “evil”—is actually the Head Teacher of life’s spiritual classroom.

The Great Parasite is like an actor overplaying the part of a diabolical professor who brilliantly, even flamboyantly employs subterfuge, lies, psyops, conspiracy theories, false flags, gaslighting, propaganda, mind control and just about anything else one can imagine to whip us pupils awake to three primary realizations essential to our “graduating” from this school of hard knocks: 1. We’re not living in a real world but something like a simulation or, better yet, a dreamscape; 2. As perceivers (dreamers) of an observer-based fake reality, we’re actually its creators; and

Sol Luckman 3. We’re thus extraordinarily powerful and need to learn how to channel our dreaming power to create outcomes that we desire, instead of the nightmarish menu of horrors disingenuously trotted out by the histrionic Great Parasite as the only possibilities of this scripted “reality.”

A crucial hallmark of the Great Parasite’s “evil” genius is that, like Bruce Lee on a superhuman scale, it inevitably uses our own energy against us during combat … at least until we understand this self-defeating dynamic and— learning the life-changing lesson of how to say no without creating conflict—simply walk away. (Lee also famously stated, “What you’re not changing, you’re also choosing.”)

This is one of the major takeaways from the types of nonviolent resistance pioneered by the likes of Henry David Thoreau and Mahatma Gandhi: by removing one’s supercharged emotional involvement in a battle of wills, it’s possible to dissolve (and sometimes even resolve) the conflict without so much as a word.

“Disobedience,” wrote Oscar Wilde, “in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man’s original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made.”

Sadly, the strategy of civil disobedience is hardly ever put into action in today’s literally insane civilization because, you know, cults. Specifically, I’m referencing the twisted Duality Cult where everybody and their brother is a raging drama queen producing a lot of sound and fury over a lot of … nothing.

In this era when people are addicted to useless, soulless, generally spiteful activities such as doxxing, debunking and exposing, nonviolence is like the old joke about Christianity, about which G. K. Chesterston once quipped, “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting.

It has been found difficult; and left untried.”

The Downside of “Community” A highly energized drive common to most people is the desire for community, to be a member of a tribe, to live among kindred spirits, to experience belonging.

While this may sound well and good and perfectly natural, I’d argue that the need for community isn’t a universal drive and that, in fact, it’s a sign of a lack of individuation, meaning …

The need for community should grow less as we grow spiritually wiser and energetically more powerful.

If you’re not—yearly—more comfortable in your own skin, your own space, your own thoughts and your own silence, you still have some growing up to do. I know I still have a lot of growing up to do myself, yet sadly, compared to the cultified population at large, I’m very much an adult.

If you identify as someone not relatively individuated, I recommend that you stop doing whatever you’re doing— saving the world and changing others you don’t agree with, for instance—and focus for as long as it takes on yourself.

Of the myriad ways the Great Parasite subverts human efforts to forge a happier, more peaceful, less deranged world, arguably the inversion of “community” into something altogether insidious and ultimately inhuman(e) tops the list.

Harnessing the sheeple’s herd instinct, our spiritual adversary—as I’ve been arguing throughout this text— expertly groups humanity into an array of what can only be called cults.

Some are obviously cults in the classic sense. Most, however, are disguised and appear as “normal” parts of society: clubs, cliques, teams, fanbases, YouTube channels, sororities, corporations, religions, families.

The Great Parasite’s Greatest Power Is Its Ability to Control the Human Mind The shamanic perspective expressed in the severely misjudged (particularly by academe) works of Carlos Castaneda is that an enormous natural Intelligence from the dream world—what I’m referring to as the Great Parasite—manipulates our world for its own energetic benefit.

In order to do this, it has actually installed its own mind (a sort of advanced yet incredibly limiting, nontechnological “operating system,” if you will) in the overwhelming majority of the population, who no longer even think for themselves! Those of us taking our role as students in life’s classroom seriously and learning to think for ourselves (for a change) are beginning to grok that nearly everyone around us—buddies, colleagues, relatives, teachers, you name it—is literally under some kind of potent, dreamlike hypnosis.

the jab or face diapers, for example, had the uncanny experience of realizing (or at least intuiting) we were talking to sleepwalkers.

Matt McKinley, who has been studying the “reality” ruse for years, theorizes in Unnamed Reality Book that some sort of “human download” occurs that blinds people to being able to see what’s right in front of their eyes.

Those sheeple who have taken the download (from the spiritual adversary) are easily corralled into cults—where they’re controlled and stimulated with fear, anger, jealousy and the like to give off an abundance of personal power, or loosh, that the Great Parasite can feast on at its leisure.

The mind-controlled will typically scoff at (or ignore) the notion that their entire earthly existence is 99

circumscribed by a network of cult loosh farms for harvesting their life force to power up the “God” of a simulated dream construct designed to disempower the very people who live in it.

They’ll also rabidly attack the messengers, as did a recent “friend” belonging to a YouTube “truther” cult who—with trenchant wit and devastating humor worthy of a diehard zealot—called me a “snotty little turd” in reference to one of my articles on cults and cultism.

But honestly, who can blame such troglodytes? The fake reality I’m pointing out is perfectly terrifying. It sounds more like the plot of a bad Steven King novel (are there any good Steven King novels?) than a real-world scenario.

Soberingly, however, what I’m describing is what’s actually going on, or darn close to it as best I can tell, and sticking our individual and collective heads in the sand won’t make the monster under our bed go away. Nor, for that matter, will focusing on the monster.

Another reader from the Duality Cult defending in kneejerk fashion all of “Truther”dom recently commented on the “Truthers & Monsters” meme I shared earlier, saying that it “offended” her and I was no longer part of her “safe circle” of writers.

Yes, she actually wrote “safe circle.” I had to locate a trashcan as fast as possible because I experienced a sudden, uncontrollable urge to hurl.

Never mind that this meme was, as noted, inspired by a quote from an obscure European philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche.

Communities: Communes in the Making The last time I checked, it was a proverb that you can’t fight fire with fire. And yet isn’t this exactly what the “truther” movement does 24/7 with its endless exposing and debunking?

My position, after banging my own head against this maddening simulacrum for decades, is that you can’t change the world; you can only change yourself.

Of course, paradoxically, by shifting the perspective through which you perceive (assemble or create) your experience, changing yourself does inevitably change your world … if only a little.

Which brings me back to the problem with “community” that plays out like clockwork in predictable downward trajectories. In my experience, both in the “real world” and online, things almost inevitably start out as communities with leaders and end up as … communes with dictators.

At their worst, the latter are pathetic little close-minded, hard-hearted petty tyrants atop kingdoms of meaningless excrement, but realize that all cult leaders are de facto dictators to those fawning cult members who would be dictated to.

The seemingly unavoidable cultification of togetherness (as in the nauseating COVID-era propaganda line “we’re all in this together”) is a flashing neon sign that there are currently no collective solutions, but only individual workarounds to what is essentially—from the optic of shamanism and the concept of an Assemblage Point that configures our individual “realities”—a solipsistic, even absurd situation.

We may not be, strictly speaking, alone in our struggle against the spiritual adversary. But for practical purposes, we might as well be. As the saying goes, applying to both the macro and micro levels, there’s only one of us here.

Thus it all boils down, one way or another, to the individual—a realization more and more genuine seekers are appearing to have. And you can bet your bottom dollar that’s why the Great Parasite is busy placing such heavyhanded emphasis on various latter-day iterations of Bolshevism at all levels of society.

The rationale seems to be: if you can’t beat ’em, cultify ’em.

The major pitfall, where communities are concerned, is that they don’t typically bring together freethinking people; they usually network cultified individuals who have taken the download and are, whether they know it or not, doing the Great Parasite’s dirty work.

The Trouble with “Truthers” Often though not always, the leaders of such communities appear at least vaguely aware they’ve signed a pact with the devil, so to speak, while their flunkies often feel like they’ve landed in a bed of roses full of peaches and cream—until they don’t.

Because, you know, cults.

The reason I’m insisting on shining a light into the cockroach den of the “truther” community (which includes a panoply of “downloaded” fundamentalist types and other eschatology junkies) is that it’s the most dangerous one for smart people, and I flatter myself that since I’m pretty smart, most of my readers are, too.

“Truthers” are perilous to those with a questioning nature because they give the false-comfort illusion (one perfectly attuned to this age of disillusionment with religion and even science) of providing answers to the fake reality’s mysteries—even though when you examine their track records, they do no such thing.

Note that I’m not talking about most consciousness explorers and reality researchers here. “Truthers” focus on “solutions” in the outside world, while the majority of sincere psychonauts innerstand that there is no outside world and that empowerment in and escape from this crazy construct can only be an inside job.

Forget the Rapture. Forget the Harvest. Forget the Mothership. Forget the Great Pyramid. Forget Enoch.

All of that mental garbage—like the bread and butter of “truthers,” conspiracies—is part of the Great Parasite’s hypnotic crack download to keep you looking out when you should be looking in.

I appreciate that Matt of Quantum of Conscience likes to call “reality” a “conspiracy generation machine.”

He points out that if you have two columns, one on the left for all the conspiracies that keep magically proliferating as if dreamed into existence by—you guessed it—the Notnilc, his name for the Great Parasite, and another on the right for all the final truths that have been arrived at about these mysteries, there are countless entries in the left column and none in the right.

It’s not as if there’s a low percentage of solved mysteries; there’s no percentage. “Truthers” (many of whom make a comfortable living “truthing”) are like professional baseball players with a lifetime batting average of … 000.

The joke’s on all of us (yes, yours truly included) who have paid attention to this crap for so long. Anyone who continues to entertain such mind rot after reading this ebook, in my humble opinion, deserves whatever s/he gets.

Depending on your “truther” source …

• The earth is flat, domed, cratered, toroidal, or purely simulated.

• The Twin Towers were detonated, microwaved, phaseshifted, or destroyed by particle-beam weapons.

• JFK was assassinated by the mob, the Cubans, the CIA, Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone, or (my favorite) no one.

• The Great Pyramid was built by extraterrestrials, magicians, levitation artists, or antediluvian prophets.

• There was a deadly virus, there was no deadly virus, there was a deadly virus engineered in a lab, viruses aren’t contagious, or viruses aren’t even real.

Does anybody else see the pattern I’m seeing here?

English one, Bullshit Writing on the Wall, is simply a matter of personal preference.

No actual reality could possibly behave in this infinitely contradictory manner in which “truth” splinters and recedes even as one approaches it.

Clearly, “reality” is a massive feedback loop that’s only giving us back the “truth” we ourselves put into it. If so-called truthers can’t see that, it doesn’t matter what else they see because none of it’s real anyway.

The situation would be merely funny (in the way clowns can be when they’re not scary) if it didn’t entail some seriously worrisome consequences.

The Consequences Aren’t Coincidences It’s sad to see people—“truther” content creators and followers/subscribers alike—acting like dogs with ADHD chasing their tails … forever. Of course, from the Great Parasite’s perspective, this is intentional.

It’s also depressing to see how subjects that have no real bearing on people’s lives or development—mudfloods, for instance, or biogeology—can so easily be substituted for the pursuit of genuine spiritual gnosis that might actually make a difference to someone somewhere somehow.

Again: it’s all part of the spiritual adversary’s plan.

But chief among the frightening consequences of such an active “truther” movement focused in large measure on the Apocalypse has to do with the way “reality” is generated in this dreamscape.

Don’t for an instant fall for the trap of thinking all this “truthing” is merely a harmless pastime, or at worst a way of wasting a lot of one’s precious time.

“Truthing” is the honeypot produced by the Great Parasite to lure in and trap today’s curious minds like Pooh in the tree.

The spiritual adversary has created this mind prison specifically for this demographic because, unlike normies, their neuronal activity remains above comatose—meaning 104

their vestiges of personal power (whatever remains after being fed upon for so long) can be channeled into the creation of the very doomsday scenario(s) over which so many “truther” cultists obsess.

The Great Parasite either can’t, or simply doesn’t, manipulate “reality” using its own energy. It routinely channels individual and group power to bring about its designs.

Again, this is a major reason why cults exist, and it’s also why so many have realized that the “contract” is an integral aspect of this construct, that our “consent” (on some level) is somehow required for us to dig our own graves, literal and figurative, here in this nowhere.

While individual power is good, group power is bigger and thus better. So the Great Parasite sets about herding would-be freethinkers into “truther” cults designed to extract their loosh for redirecting it into bringing about the very apocalyptic narratives they think they’re “discovering” … as opposed to flat-out bringing into being.

If you’re participating in such a “community,” you’re being parasitized yourself not only by your cult leader(s) but ultimately by the spiritual adversary—and your personal power is being used to actualize the very thing(s) you probably, at least subconsciously, fear most.

But, But, But …

I can hear some “truthers” now: “But, but, but … I’m just interested in the information provided by [fill in the “truther” cult platform]. How can this possibly make me susceptible to being looshed?”

Simple. Where attention goes energy tends to flow. To the extent intention is rooted in fear, anxiety, worry, pride, trauma, need, etc., your emotional attachment to the information will eventually create an emotional attachment to the cult supplying it.

This attachment serves as a de facto “contract” between yourself and the cult, allowing the latter to extract your energy as a form of “payment” for the information provided.

This personal power you’ve thus agreed to provide is then passed up the food chain to cult leaders, then their handlers, etc., all the way to the Great Parasite.

Meanwhile, losing energy, you become less and less empowered and more and more susceptible to being overpowered not just by the cult but by the human download from the Great Parasite.

Soon neither your mind nor your life is your own and, bizarrely, you’re willing to go to battle for the very people and institutions that maintain you in a state of cognitive, emotional, energetic and sometimes even physical slavery (as in human trafficking).

Can anyone say “Stockholm Syndrome”?

All too often, however, cult situations initially are gratifying. We feel like we’ve discovered our “family” in all the like minds who have miraculously, these days, been brought together by the “miracle of technology” (which, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, is basically code for “Great Parasite”).

Practically without fail, however, flies enter the ointment because, after all, the spiritual adversary is the Lord of the (F)lies.

Then “cultunities” go to hell in a hand basket as those on the download turn on each other and/or those outside the cult without a clue as to the why or how. Because love may be blind, but cult members are blinder.

Time to open our eyes …

Coda: Despair Not Where does this leave those of us wanting to uncultify ourselves?

It leaves us in a pickle, that’s where.

We inhabit a “reality” composed, structurally and functionally, of nested and interconnected cults lorded over by a spiritual adversary that, unlike our preening, megalomaniacal cult leaders, is no laughing matter, all the while surrounded by a population of sleepwalking normies and zombified “truthers” with whom we must occasionally interact unless we retreat into subterranean caverns.

This is the lay of the land, such as it is in a simulacrum, and if we’re to avoid suicidal tendencies, we must put on our big boy and big girl pants and play it as it lays.

This means, first and foremost, safeguarding and building up our personal energy.

Doing so requires walking between the raindrops of the World Cult as much as possible while engaging in activities and practices that serve our individual spiritual evolution.

If enough of us could do this simultaneously, we might be able to come together as a bona fide spiritual community that transcends cult status—an improbability yet a possibility nevertheless I explore in Chapter 11. Then, and only then, might we change the collective “reality” for the better.

In the meantime I wouldn’t hold my breath awaiting this unlikely outcome that feels like “hopium” to me. I’m not convinced that’s what this classroom is designed for. I think we’re enrolled here to discover that the only way out is in. That’s matriculation from the Matrix.

Fortunately, there’s a lot more to share on this subject, which I’ll promptly start doing in the next chapter, but for now look on the bright side: You could still be a member of a lot of cults and have no idea.

9 How to Engage in Spiritual Guerilla Warfare against the World CULT: Preserve Your Energy by Invoking the “Nu-ku-lar” Option A Little History Lesson

f you’re old enough to remember the bad ol’ days of President George W. Bush, you might recall that in September of 2001 he presided over a little “Twin Towers” ritual (whose esoteric agenda involved the simultaneous destruction of the Old World Order and the introduction of the New) while memorably “reading” from an upside-down children’s book.

The grade-school-level exercise he was supposedly reading was titled My Pet Goat. From the perspective of my thesis on the nature and operative principles of the World Cult I’ve been unpacking herein, the foregoing sentence is absolutely loaded with meaning and irony.

That Dubya was (not) reading about a kept farm animal is practically a wink from the “reality” construct—and perhaps even its manipulator, our spiritual adversary, the Great Parasite—that humans are actually the kept farm animals on the giant loosh ranch of the earth, since everything (including My Pet Goat) is inverted here.

Certain prominent figures in the “truther” community continue to insist on pooh-poohing the notion of loosh as the energetic currency of this fake realm. As I see it, anyone dissing loosh simply can’t be trusted because either 109

1) they’re naive and lack discernment or 2) they’re minions of our spiritual adversary.

Either way, with regard to either the self or the other, we’d do well to remember George Orwell’s admonition: “To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle.”

Readers who have come this far in this ebook should easily recognize the threadbare, “order-from-opposition” script of the Great Parasite’s pet cult, the Duality one: good is bad, right is wrong, up is down, yes is no, war is peace, love is hate, real is fake, safety is danger, democracy is totalitarianism, etc.

“Goat” is also a fascinating choice, since on this Animal Farm the humans kept here are constantly scapegoated (so as to control them and more efficiently harvest their life force, or loosh) in the blame and shame game that incessantly plays out at all levels of the global—yes, flat earthers, I used that word—cultocracy.

“Goat” is at the same time, it must be remarked, a nod to Baphomet, the Knights Templar, Satanists, Luciferians, the Illuminati and a veritable who’s who of other darkly 110

mysterious cults and cultists, making it a brilliant piece of clickbait for “truthers” who apparently can’t survive without a daily diet of more and more competing conspiracy theories.

The very idea that a sitting US president (literally and figuratively) who possibly didn’t know how to read was, in fact, pretending to read is equally intriguing as a nudge and a wink from the diabolical Head-Teacher-cum-torturer of this medieval spiritual classroom we find ourselves strapped into, a sort of wake-up call from Professor Parasite as if to say, Note that all isn’t as it seems.

Throughout his political career, Bush II presented himself notoriously as an unlearned nincompoop who, by comparison, made his bumbling father seem positively erudite and rendered his buffoonish predecessor, Bill Clinton, the Shakespeare of Arkansas.

W. was a bona fide wizard, one way or another, no doubt about it. Either he was one of the most stupidly hilarious politicians or greatest comedic actors to ever grace the Oval Office.

You’ll have to make up your own mind because we’ll probably never know for sure, given the intrinsically slippery nature of “reality” I’ve been harping on chapter after chapter.

Here are some of Temporary’s most (in)famously kneeslapping quotes: There’s an old saying in Tennessee—I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, fool me once, shame on—shame on you. Fool me—you can’t get fooled again.

To those of you who received honors, awards and distinctions, I say, well done. And to the C students, I say, you too can be president of the United States.

A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there’s no question about it.

You just can’t make this shit up—or can you? Truth (such as it is, or isn’t) really is stranger than fiction.

Through its very implausibility, as more and more reality researchers are realizing, truth creates a strange friction, a cognitive dissonance like a “splinter in your mind,” as Morpheus would say, trying to alert you to the “fact” that we don’t so much live in a “mad” world as a contrived one.

Dubya was also a Hall of Fame mispronouncer of common words. Perhaps the most well-known of his verbal blunders came when attempting to say the word “nuclear” (which, as you might imagine, being the mouthpiece of the Deep State, he did every chance he got).

There’s a meme circulating online that lists some of the ways Bush got “nuclear” wrong, from “new-klee-ar” to “nuku-lar” and variations thereof.

I grew up around this kind of speech impediment, so maybe that’s why I find Bush’s tendency to misspeak tragically humorous. But I can certainly understand if you judge him as just a blithering pawn of the Machine unworthy of compassion.

My father, though not a fool by any means, couldn’t for the life of him pronounce the simple word “oxygen.” It came out as “oksigun” sometimes, or “oshkigun” at other moments, or even occasionally “ossijun”—but never, ever just plain “oxygen.”

Not too long ago, I was reminded of W.’s jackass way of saying “nu-ku-lar” and thought it would make for a fun and funny way of introducing the “nu-ku-lar option” where winning our spiritual guerilla war against the World Cult is concerned.

We can hardly expect to survive, much less win, a war— even a spiritual one like the one I’m referencing—if we don’t know we’re in it.

So the first all-important step is to grok the nature of the Gameboard, as covered in Chapter 7.

Grokking the Gameboard requires that we embrace radical scenarios that flip the notion of a preexisting Newtonian (or even quantum) “reality” on its head (again, the inversion principle, but this time used to our advantage), such as—in the words of Melvin M. Vopso and The Conversation—the … extraordinary possibility that our entire universe might, in fact, be a computer simulation. The idea is not that new. In 1989, the legendary physicist … John Archibald Wheeler suggested that the 114

The World Cult & You universe is fundamentally mathematical and can be seen as emerging from the information. He coined the famous aphorism “it from bit.”

Reality researchers have repeatedly demonstrated that materialism is a giant smokescreen used by the fake reality ruse to hide the true observer-generated nature of our simulated dream construct.

What’s not typically acknowledged is that quantum “science” is hardly different. It’s just a slightly more clever fabrication designed to pull the wool over the eyes of slightly more clever people.

“Reality” just gets smaller in this worldview; it doesn’t fundamentally coalesce into what it actually is: something made up. I like to call quantum physics “materialism lite” or “diet Newtonianism.”

Ever since the so-called Enlightenment, pseudoscientists worldwide have feverishly searched for smaller and smaller particles—seemingly oblivious to the fact that particles don’t really exist … except to the extent they’re just momentarily suspended waves in an ever-changing, vibrational, holographic sea, duh.

Now the high priests of pseudoscience, otherwise known as the religion of scientific materialism, claim to have discovered— through mathematical constructs that exist only in their brains—a particle that is so tiny it verges on the realm of nonexistence itself.

Sol Luckman This newest figmentary particle, nicknamed the “oblivicon” by lead researcher Dr. Ben Dover of the American Institute for the Study of Meaningless Phenomena that Cost a Heck of a Lot to Study (AISMPCHLS), may, in fact, be a fiction made of two other fictions: matter and antimatter.

“The discovery of oblivicon just blew me away,” said Dr. Dover, who, when pressed, admitted to having first intuited the existence of this “particle” during a psychedelically inspired lucid dream. “It’s, like, the biggest discovery since, like, bitcoin.”

The traditional (as in, dating back a few years) view of matter and antimatter is that the two inevitably cancel out each other upon approach. But the existence of the oblivicon, in which matter and antimatter are thought to coexist peacefully, could radically shift our understanding—not just of the universe, but of ourselves.

“It’s really quite simple,” explained Dr. Dover while humming a bar from Elvis Costello’s “What’s So Funny ’bout Peace, Love & Understanding?” “God is love. We are God. Therefore, we are love and have within us the ability to reconcile opposites.”

The new oblivicon “particle,” or rather its “signature,” magically appeared in a jar of Peter Pan creamy peanut butter inside a superconductor, a fancy-named substance in which other fictitious particles, known as electrons, are said to be able to move about without resistance.

Normally, peanut butter (even the smoother varieties) shortcircuits superconductors, but not this time. “It was a miracle,” conceded Dr. Dover. “A tasty and nutritious gift from the Creator.”

As for the controversial finding of the oblivicon, pseudoscientists, while conceding that only its signature has been detected so far, insist that if it isn’t the real thing, it’s a highly convincing forgery.

The finding could be useful (if this word may be permitted) in creating GMO peanut butter to feed the Third World’s starving and disease-ridden populations that Golden Rice, despite all the hype, failed to properly nourish.

Other possible uses include fabrication of quantum diapers, electrified orgy butter for use by elite pedophiles, and even more complex algorithms on Wall Street for siphoning off the wealth of the world’s middle class through fraudulent derivatives.

The World Cult & You The oblivicon might also serve as yet another distraction created by the so-called scientific community to keep us from inventing and implementing things that really matter to anyone, anywhere.

As a point of clarification, I’ve been arguing for a while now that the Gameboard is far more likely to be a natural dreamscape than an unnatural computer simulation.

I maintain this position because dreams are natural to us and our world, whereas technology is the quintessence of artificiality, and through lucid dreaming it’s even possible to manipulate the content and direction of our dreams.

We “are not what we eat, nor what we think: we are what we dream,” writes Sergio Magaña in The Toltec Secret.

“Of course what we eat and think are essential parts of our lives, but what most of us don’t understand is that it is what we dream that determines what we eat and think and who we are.”

Elsewhere in this inspiring work subtitled Dreaming Practices of the Ancient Mexicans, Magaña—a fresh voice for a powerful lineage of Mesoamerican shamanism that parallels that of Carlos Castaneda—epigrammatically cites one of his teachers in explaining how this “reality” is generated … and it has nothing whatsoever to do with “AI”: “[F]irst you dream something and then it comes true.”

Stated somewhat differently by the “ancient people,” or Mexihcas, associated with this noteworthy Tol lineage, “Your dream is what you have become. Observe your life and you’ll know what you dreamed.”

If in what I consider to be a doubtful scenario dreams are somehow part of a vast “computer program,” then they’re at the very least the “reality” construct’s “backdoors,” where shortcuts, resets, miracles and the like can be entered into the construct by gifted hackers not of keyboards but of consciousness.

In lucid dreaming we “organic beings” can have encounters with “inorganic beings” (often referred to as 117

“allies”) from the dream world and, through this interaction, experience firsthand just how our “reality” (the tonal of shamanism) grows naturally, nontechnologically out of the nagual (or nahual) of dreams.

Ultimately, lucid dreamers come to understand that both tonal and nagual are dream states. This means that even inorganic beings are being dreamed into existence by someone or something outside the dream, which once more raises the possibility that “it’s all just a computer simulation.”

Here again, however, shamans who have flown beyond the dreaming attention report not a definitively real world on the outside giving rise to a simulation through technology, but an “infinity” in which an unknowable, godlike force—known variously as the Eagle, Great Eagle, Black Eagle, Centeotl (great nahual) and Amomati (no-mind state) in Mesoamerican shamanism—serves as the primary impulse for both the dream world and, growing out of it in turn, our so-called reality.

Regardless of what’s generating experience, shamans, seers and many reality researchers agree that, in the final analysis, our ability to consciously dream new dreams— about ourselves and our living environment—is tantamount to our ability to purposely create news selves and living environments. Simple and yet hard to do as that.

As long as we’re unwilling to claim our birthright as dreamers and irresponsibly insist on dreaming ourselves and the world unconsciously, our inherent creative ability can be redirected by outside forces to create “reality” on its behalf.

This is exactly the case with the Great Parasite’s takeover of the human mind, and it perfectly explains why our society is such a hot mess right now.

Sadly, those still trapped in the Cult of Materialism— especially those with big, pretty brains bursting with ego that have been thoroughly washed by academe—have a 118

hard time setting their pride aside and admitting they’ve been wrong all along about the nature of the “real.”

Yet a truthful examination of this illogical and impossible “real” world of resets, Mandela Effects, insect storms, mass disappearances (in the second half of last century alone, as I point out in my paranormal novel Snooze, nearly 100 boats, 200 planes and 2K people went missing in just the Bermuda Triangle), and the like can only lead to one conclusion: Kansas has most assuredly gone bye-bye.

Perhaps, in fact, Kansas was never even here to begin with and we’ve always been wandering around in the Land of Oz …

In that work, as noted, I brought up arguably the most noodle-cooking implication of science’s Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle: that we’re actually creating the world we’re led to believe we’re just observing.

But back to the smell of napalm in the morning.

This is a reference to a famous line from an infamous scene in Apocalypse Now that I’m using as a poetic conceit to illustrate our personal and collective need to open our eyes to the fight raging all around us over who controls our consciousness—we ourselves or our adversary.

Once we realize we’re in a fight for our lives, spiritually speaking and possibly bodily as well, and once we grasp the dreamlike nature of the Gameboard and what it takes to change it, or at the very least ourselves in it, we’re finally on higher ground in the War of Consciousness and can begin, at long last, to engage the only true enemy here: ourselves.

How to “Fight” a Spiritual Guerilla War Innerstand that the Great Parasite isn’t our enemy. Instead, visualize it as an apex predator and our energy as an excellent food source. What we’re experiencing is basically just … nature.

The Great Parasite also, in behaving as it does, is fulfilling its role as our ultimate teacher, one that challenges us through a panoply of ostensibly real dangers and issues to bring forth our highest and best, to learn to stand in our own power even as we stroll away from the fight.

That’s the secret to winning a spiritual guerilla war: learning how to practice nonviolence as a lifestyle by walking away from conflict and control and dreaming a new dream of peace and freedom.

“Neither comply nor resist,” advises Charles Hugh Smith with a novel spin on nonviolent “resistance” perfectly suited to this era of planned societal implosion designed to 120

bring more and more sheeple into smaller and smaller corrals. “The decay of social norms and status quo systems triggering an authoritarian tightening of the screws is a well-worn pattern throughout human history. It shouldn’t surprise us to be living this dynamic in real time. We don’t control the decay or the authoritarianism, but we do control our response.”

Smith wisely adds, “non-compliance and non-resistance are paths to personal freedom and responsibility that have no legal consequence […] It’s called opting out, and it’s been a successful strategy since the waning days of the Western Roman Empire.”

The real “fight” is with the enemy within ourselves: our need to be right, our knee-jerk reactions to being called out on our BS, our traumatized tendency to project our faults onto others, our deep childhood wounds that leave us feeling unloved and unlovable, the facility with which even those with the best intentions can so easily be converted to the “Dark Side,” etc.

I’ve divided what we need to do to master the Gameboard and win this war into two categories: strategies for preserving our energy and strategies for building it.

When I say “energy,” feel free to substitute “power,” “personal power,” “life force,” “chi,” “kundalini,” “prana,” “orgone,” “will,” “mojo” or even, simply and broadly, “consciousness.”

It’s no use building up our energy if the Great Parasite, like an etheric vampire, keeps bloodletting it out of us 24/7, so we’ll start with strategies for preserving energy. In the next chapter, I’ll share a curated selection of concepts and techniques for building it.

Invoke the Nu-ku-lar Option by Divesting Yourself from the World Cult George W. Bush once said (whether with correct or incorrect pronunciation I’ve been unable to determine), 121

“We ought to be using nuclear power. It’s a renewable source of energy.”

Bush was as cultish a figure in the World Cult as it gets, which means we’re practicing, once again, a kind of aikido on the Great Parasite by using him as inspiration for disempowering our spiritual adversary while simultaneously empowering ourselves.

And he was almost right (as he so often was about so many things) in his assessment of “nuclear power.” The most potent renewable energy source here is our own, and the nu-ku-lar option is the best way to reclaim and start renewing it.

What exactly do I mean by nu-ku-lar option?

I mean blowing up (metaphorically) the World Cult in our own lives, or at least as much of it as possible, in one giant explosion of just saying no and walking away.

This doesn’t have to be hard. It can actually be fun, especially if we’re up for a challenge.

It’s also a fantastic way to practice the shamanic art of “stalking,” which for present purposes I’ll define as refining our self-awareness to the point of becoming masters of our situations in the tonal, or manifest world.

I’ll delve more into this technique for accumulating energy or personal power in the next chapter, but for now please be aware that shamanic stalking has nothing to do with harassing anyone.

As mentioned earlier, for years I’ve employed the nu-kular option in my own life by not owning a cellphone.

Now, I’m perfectly, painfully aware that the overwhelming majority of my readers will never, ever— even on penalty of death and eternal damnation—go without a cell phone as I have for so long. I also admit it’s getting harder and harder to live without one in today’s world.

I merely bring up this bit of autobiography as a thought experiment for what radical moves people can (and should, to use a term I don’t particularly like to emphasize the 122

point) make to divest themselves from the World Cult … cold turkey.

By way of concluding, I thought I’d share my Top 13 picks for invoking the nu-ku-lar option and giving a single finger salute to the World Cult so that we might liberate ourselves from the Great Vampire Squid’s energyharvesting tentacles.

As usual I’ve chosen a number—13 this time—to mess with numerology-obsessed “truther” heads and send them tumbling down their inane rabbit holes.

In my book, for the record, the number 13—despite its bad rap among today’s paranoid unintelligentsia who can’t so much as eat breakfast without “decoding” it with a kind of loosey-goosey neogematria—is a very magical number indeed.

In Caves of Power Sergio Magaña explains that according to “ancient Mexican numerology, 13 is one of the most important numbers, or even the most important number.”

It allows one to “gain access to the most refined knowledge … It is also used to make sure that something manifests in the most beautiful way.”

So with 13 guiding and blessing this exercise, I wish to point out that there are many, many things one might do (or rather, not do) when walking the path of spiritual divestment from the World Cult. This list is just to get your mental wheels turning and perhaps provide a bit of insight and inspiration.

A meme I’ve seen shared several times that I particularly enjoyed reads like this: “You become a master of your life when you learn how to control where your attention goes.

Value what you give your energy and time to.”

This sentiment pretty much sums up a major purpose of invoking the nu-ku-lar option in regard to things, such as cults, that have no (or even negative) value. Another reason of paramount importance, as stated, is to preserve your energy/power. The more energy suckers you can avoid, the more mojo you’ll have available to survive and thrive.

As a final thought before I share my Top 13, someone recently asked if, after divesting from it, it’s ever possible to reintegrate into the gargantuan cult that is society and not have one’s loosh harvested by it.

The short answer: Yes. The long answer: It usually takes a long time. You’ll “gno” when you’re ready. Don’t rush it.

The obvious question: But why on earth would you want to rejoin that Ship of Fools?

My Top 13 Picks for Going Nu-ku-lar 13) Get off (or at least minimize your time on) social media.

Easier said than done. Obviously, you and I are having a lengthy “meeting of the minds” here on Substack. So, yes, social media can be a tool. It can also be a burden. I’m reminded of the old adage about the ego and see how it also applies to social media, which is likewise a wonderful servant but a terrible master. Personally, I’m taking steps to minimize my time online, which I consider to be one of the most toxic platefuls of fear and loathing the World Cult has ever served up to humanity.

12) Don’t comply with anything official from the World Cult you don’t absolutely have to. I’m not a lawyer and don’t play one on Amazon Prime and this isn’t legal advice, but I’m with Charles Hugh Smith here. Screw the census … screw voluntary reporting … screw NGOs … screw the WHO and CDC … screw the pledge of allegiance … You get the picture.

Again, many are adamant that “government” literally means “mind control.” You can’t take back your energy if you’re forever giving it away through manufactured consent.

11) Stop using doctors for anything other than emergency situations. I’m not a doctor and don’t play one on Netflix and this isn’t medical advice, but in case you haven’t figured it out yet, doctors and allopathic medicine are pretty much the leading cause of death, period. It’s really hard to maintain your life force when you’re six feet under pushing up daisies. And don’t even get me started on that most insidious of modern curses, the self-fulfilling prophecy known as diagnosis, which has got to be one of the most effective loosh extraction devices ever dreamed up by the Great Parasite. Embrace natural and energetic options whenever possible. More on this in the next chapter.

10) Quit your soul-sucking job. I’m not saying not to support yourself and your family, but I am suggesting there might be healthier, happier alternatives for making a living, even when taking a financial hit. “Besides,” as I write in my forthcoming novel on the power of the imagination, Beginner’s Luke, “there’s no time to crunch numbers when your soul is on the line.” Explore your options with seriousness and determination and perhaps you’ll be pleasantly surprised when “reality” notices you’re shifting your focus and responds by altering its feed with new opportunities.

9) Get rid of faux friends and frenemies. Just stop responding to their texts, meeting them for drinks, inviting them over, listening to their loosh-siphoning self-pity and selfishness. Hell, block them on social media if you have to. Make room, energetically and temporally, for fresh, supportive relationships to form around you. Just be sure to avoid merely trading in your old cult handlers for new ones.

8) Ditch watching sports. Can anyone say a total waste of time and energy? “Fan” is merely a more palatable word for “fanatic,” just sayin’.

7) Drop the celebrity worship. Admiring gifted people is one thing; emulating people who probably had much more than a mere helping hand from Cabal Headquarters in order to succeed is quite another. Be yourself. If you don’t, no one else will.

6) Avoid family members and situations that bring you down.

Do I really have to explain the rationale here? I employed this strategy early on in my journey of consciousness and my only regret is that I didn’t do more of it.

5) Turn off mainstream as well as alternative news. If you think there’s actually any difference between the two, I’d like to sell you a timeshare on Uranus. CNN, MSNBC, NPR, FOX et al. are consummate energy succubi, it goes without saying, but so are Zero Hedge, Drudge Report and other venues of their cultish ilk. Unplug from all this brainwashing bullshit and thank me when you start to feel more like … yourself again.

4) Drop out of school. Coming from the keyboard of a former academic and teacher, this one may also come as a surprise. But I’ve got news for you: college in particular is the biggest mind-control institution outside of religion there is. I’m not sure it’s possible to attend four years of university (to say nothing of additional years of graduate school) and still be in your right mind. Why not save yourself the time and energy it takes to deprogram your academic programming by doing something else with your life instead? Besides, you’ll probably make a lot more money and be a lot more fulfilled in the long run.

3) Stop going to church. Religion is one of the major cults in this construct, so any connection to churches, mosques, temples, monasteries, etc., is just asking to be looshed via the Great Parasite’s minions. No religion is any better than any other because they’re all just different flavors of disempowering crap. Christianity, for example, is basically Buddhism with more judgment, and “new age” cults are no better. You can lead a new ager or fundamentalist to water, but you can’t make him think. See if, upon letting church go and reclaiming so much energy, you don’t feel like you’ve grown a pair of … angel’s wings.

2) Quit engaging in politics and political arguments. Not to put too fine a point on it, but politics is one of the main cogs of the Duality Cult and voting is a disempowering 127

psyop parading as empowerment. Here’s how I define “suffrage” in my satirical lexicon, The Angel’s Dictionary: (n.) right to suffer the consequences (often the same) of voting for either party in a general election. As Emma Goldman so eloquently put it, “If voting changed anything, they’d make it illegal.” Walk away from the crackhead circus of politics and political arguments and pay gratified attention as your personal energy meter climbs and climbs up and up out of the Swamp and away from its cult denizens.

1) Avoid “truther” “communities” and content like the plague. Consciousness and reality researchers aren’t typically “truthers,” as I’m using the term. Human potential is a wonderful thing to explore. This activity identifies power inside, not outside, ourselves. Most of today’s “truthers,” on the other hand, are actually servants (witting or otherwise) of the Great Parasite insofar as they play an important role in bringing about antihuman outcomes (such as doomsday, as in “doomsday cults”). All conspiracy theories are bogus grail quests in this “reality” construct serving as distractions from the real spiritual work of preserving and increasing our personal power. Just walk away—and be sure to take your energy with you by unsubscribing from any and all such channels on your way out the door. If you’re not part of the problem, you’re part of the solution. Ponder that for a moment before continuing to Chapter 10.

wish I had a bitcoin for every healing and selfempowerment technique I’ve tried over my many years of first going disastrously “autoimmune” from vaccine injury and then exploring into the outer reaches of alternative medicine, mental health and personal development long after I’d figured out how to restore my wellbeing.

Then again, you probably wouldn’t be reading this ebook because I wouldn’t have written it. Instead, having gladly abandoned my career as an underappreciated and underpaid writer (just kidding, not really), I’d probably be alternately surfing my tail off, sipping tiki drinks from a recumbent position and continuing my psychonaut adventures in shamanism on a remote archipelago somewhere far, far away from the World Cult.

First, in this chapter I’ll share the 11 (this time a “master number” chosen simply to tempt gematria junkies to make much ado about nothing) most effective and efficient strategies I’ve discovered for maximizing personal power.

The World Cult is ingeniously designed to deplete our energy, leading to literal disempowerment and defeat by the Great Parasite in the game of this simulacrum, which I’ve likened to a War of Consciousness.

This means that winning the war—peacefully in a way that could never be done in a head-on confrontation with our Sauronic spiritual adversary forever keeping a lidless eye on us—necessarily involves guerilla tactics for energizing and empowering ourselves.

All of the strategies I’m about to share are monetarily free to implement, but let me warn you that most of them require an expensive energy exchange: you have to be willing to put in considerable time and effort to learn and perform them, purposefully and regularly.

These techniques tend to be most powerful after one has spent a little time invoking the nu-ku-lar option (a grand gesture of “not-doing,” to use shamanic terminology) vis-à-vis the World Cult, as detailed in the previous chapter, but they can certainly be useful whenever implemented.

Then to wrap things up with a conclusion in which nothing will really be concluded, in Chapter 11 I’ll give my two cents on the outlook for the individual path out of here as well as the future of community (the micro) and our society (the macro), such as it is.

A Sound Strategy for Using These Strategies I’ve ranked the following approaches to building up personal power in ascending order of effectiveness based on my own experience and observation—meaning this list is entirely subjective like everything else in this maddeningly malleable dreamscape.

Since people are so individualized (if not yet, for the most part, individuated), it’s entirely possible you’ll find what works best for you toward the beginning or middle of the list.

My recommendation is to trust your gut instinct and then follow Nike’s lead and just go for it. Make your decision like a warrior, as Don Juan counsels Carlos Castaneda, and then don’t look back.

If and when you decide to switch gears and try something different to fire up your mojo, fine, but don’t question that either. Get out of your head because that’s where the Great Parasite has the most control over you.

Endeavor to just act and be.

Mental quietude, what I sometimes call “Silent Stillness,” in which we learn to connect with the universal flow of energy all around us and truly experience ourselves as cocreators with All That Is, stands out as an important goal (however brief and intermittent our experience of it might be) of these techniques.

Silent Stillness is powerful medicine against the deleterious effects of the World Cult; in practice it functions like a systemic parasite cleanse with respect to our spiritual adversary, who finds such “clean-burning” energy unpalatable and leaves those who emit it well enough alone.

In such a state of no-mind, or Amomati, in which we (at least temporarily) become one with the creative source of all manifest experience, we cease to feed the Great Parasite by interfacing with its installed operating system (the human download).

At this point we experience the beginnings of genuine freedom, the transcendent breaking free from the Matrix which is the primary goal of these techniques. I’ll return to breaking free, the subject of subjects here in the simulacrum for genuine freethinkers, at the end of this ebook.

One should normally experience Silent Stillness more and more by consistently engaging the following strategies. Thus I don’t list classical meditation (which I frankly don’t enjoy and never greatly benefited from) as a technique in itself, since increasing personal power organically engenders meditative states of pure awareness.

Note that you’re also free to try out more than one of these techniques at a time.

Having said that, FOMO, or “fear of missing out,” is one of the Great Parasite’s most devious strategies for sidetracking and confusing our attempts at accumulating energy.

Pursuing a couple paths simultaneously is one thing; loading up on a confused cartload of methods like panicked grocery shopping on the eve of a hurricane, on the other hand, is almost certainly a recipe for failure.

You won’t know what’s doing what, you’ll overload your circuits and cause yourself problems, or nothing at all will happen because you’re not acting with ease and grace but out of desperation and restriction and you’ll give up far too soon, telling yourself (and maybe others) that “this shit doesn’t work.”

Relax, take a deep breath, realize you’re just in some kind of simulation dream, make your choice, and let it rip with a little faith that maybe, just maybe your Higher Self is out there (or in there) guiding you unerringly in the direction of your personal evolution.

Keep in mind that Rome wasn’t built in a day—and neither is a full complement of individual power. Fast and furious may sell movie tickets, but slow and steady wins the race. Be the tortoise, not the hare. This is, as the saying goes, not a sprint, but a marathon.

Think of soberly implementing these strategies as a game within the game where you focus, baby step by baby step, on reclaiming your full birthright of power and resurrecting and reinvigorating your probably long-buried inner child.

Before you know it, like a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly, you’ll grow consciousness wings strong enough to lift you up and out of whatever situation(s) that might be seeking to drag you down—including, eventually, the simulacrum itself.

Now pick your favorite strategy and get busy empowering yourself!

The 11 Best Strategies for Building Up Personal Power 11. Qigong Qigong (also written “qi gong,” “chi kung,” “chi ’ung,” and “chi gung”) is an ancient Eastern system of movement, breathing and meditation specifically designed to increase one’s energy. This discipline is very widespread and can be learned effectively (if not, admittedly, mastered) just by following along with free YouTube videos.

By spending as little as fifteen or twenty minutes a day (typically first thing in the morning) on a regular basis, over time you can significantly increase your personal power, or chi, to the extent you can feel and observe substantial changes in your body, mind, and spirit.

Many practitioners report healing or, at a minimum, improvement of chronic health conditions ranging from the physical to the mental to the emotional.

In my own case, qigong stabilized me at a low point of my autoimmune illness. And though it didn’t resolve my condition, it bought me precious time until I was able to discover Potentiation Electromagnetic Repatterning and the Regenetics Method (see below).

By far the most efficient qigong technique for energetically fortifying yourself is to simply “stand at stake,” a foundational exercise also known as “hugging the tree.” If this is all you do to begin moving your life force in a vertical direction, that’s not a bad start.

10. Unleashing Your Creativity What does “creativity” mean to you and how does it fit into your life?

If you have difficulty defining it and don’t see much of it in your daily existence, that may mean it’s a valuable missing piece for you.

“There is,” said Sophia Loren, “a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.”

Another quote, from Maya Angelou (with whom, as an aside, I once rode around for hours in a limousine joyfully chatting about all things literary), also gets at the raw energy source that is creativity: “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

Nothing gets you out of the prison of your mind into the pure potential of the moment (and sometimes straight into 135

the no-mind itself) more than passionately engaging the creative process.

It really doesn’t matter what turns you on: painting, writing, fashion, cooking, handbells, macrame. It’s all good if it lights you up from the inside.

Make time for creativity in your life and watch as your inner dialogue begins to shift into a higher octave on its way to progressively giving way to the protective, antiparasitic emptiness that is Silent Stillness.

9. Listening to or Performing Music Speaking of octaves, music possesses and conveys a special type of creational and transformational ability.

My position, one I’ve articulated over the course of several previous books, is that sound embedded in language is the energized and energizing code that gave birth to this “reality.” Thus it’s hard to imagine tapping into a purer source of power than sound itself.

Music, of course, is the shaping of sound to convey thought and emotion. That all music isn’t created equal doesn’t matter in the least; listening to or performing any music that makes you tick will inevitably build up your prana.

Let the music you love (as opposed to what you think you “should” be listening to) flow through your body, out of your bones into your heart and beyond into your mind and spirit.

Do this every day and look for improvements in performance, confidence, moods and relationships as evidence of increasing energy.

8. Creative Writing Although I already included writing under “Unleashing Your Creativity,” I felt the need to give it its own category 136

to highlight its unique capacity to remove mental and emotional blockages and allow energy to flow freely.

By “creative writing” I mean anything that’s not strictly utilitarian. You can write creatively on a restaurant napkin over cocktails. A poem is obviously creative, but a nonfiction essay can be, too. One of the most potentially creative writing activities of all is simply … journaling.

It all boils down to whether you’re able—through luck or lineage—to tap into the vitalizing sizzle of creative writing that’s sort of like knowing how to access the Room of Requirement in Harry Potter. “If you have to ask,” the ghost of Rowena Ravenclaw tells Harry as the story nears its climax, “you will never know. If you know, you need only ask.”

One particularly powerful aspect of writing is that, since we live in a narrative-driven construct, you can use your imagination to substitute a narrative of your own making for the one being shoved down your throat by the Great Parasite and its cult minions.

By choosing to create new narratives, we open up space for new outcomes—individually, for certain, and perhaps collectively as well.

Be sure your narratives involve overcoming personal obstacles and raising your energy and don’t be shocked when, with repetition and dedication to the craft of storytelling, the tall tales you start telling yourself begin to come true.

7. Movement The snarky part of me considered calling this category “Getting off Your Ass,” but “Movement” is a better overall title because I’m not actually talking about motivation or discipline here. Instead, I’m referring to finding empowering ways to literally move your body.

These ways will be different for everybody. Some people will gravitate to tai chi or hooping; others will be drawn to 137

running, swimming, or basketball; and still others, like Dr. Kelly Brogan, a badass iconoclast if ever there was one, will find themselves irresistibly drawn to pole dancing.

What matters most about whatever type of movement you choose is that it needs to suit your temperament and make you feel energized.

Movement might also open up space in your body in order to allow easier and greater flow of energy throughout your system. Yoga is a classic example of this kind of expansive movement, but a similar benefit can be gained from primal movement or barre (for instance).

Such physical movement, practiced routinely, can also lead to different types of “movement” in other areas. Your self-esteem can move up while your self-judgment can move down. The shape of your body can move in new directions, as can the contours of your mind.

Movement can also help stop movement—specifically, the chaotic ping-ponging of the Great Parasite’s mind installation (which can be heard as the in[s]ane chatter of the internal dialogue) that separates you from your true source of being, the one you can rediscover as you (re)connect with Great Spirit during Silent Stillness.

If you’ve ever been absolutely exhausted, and thoroughly happy to be so, after an excellent round of your favorite exercise, you’ve probably experienced a taste of the kind of activity-induced no-mind I’m thinking of here.

Keep moving the way you’re moving and you and your personal power will keep moving onward … and upward.

6. Spending Time in Nature The great American naturalist and author John Muir wrote that the “clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”

Need I say more? Okay, I’ll say a little more.

There has recently been a disturbing trend popularized by certain simulationists to downplay nature as merely a 138

lifeless aspect of the construct’s “programming.” Even I, under the influence of one such “truther” “community,” briefly entertained such a perspective before sobering up.

This dangerous line of thinking—featuring a casual disregard for Mother Nature herself, with whom many of us, shamans or otherwise, consciously interact on a daily basis—leads straight to environmental destruction and disconnection from the spirit of nature complete with an array of disempowering and other negative consequences for both people and planet (or whatever you wish to call our home).

I’m reminded of John Lamb Lash’s brilliant analysis of the disastrous (un)natural impact of the monotheistic religions on our world that he lays out in Not in His Image.

Subtitled Gnostic Vision, Sacred Ecology & the Future of Belief, this classic was an inspiration for my novel Cali the Destroyer, where I, too, spent more than a few pages contemplating the devastation of the environment at the hands of mind-controlled cultists serving a false god with no respect for nature. In this one area if no other, many of today’s simulationists are no different from religious fundamentalists.

My recommendation is to pull the nu-ku-lar option on anyone claiming Mother Nature isn’t a sentient being (even if She’s dreamed into existence by something or someone) while venturing out as often as you can and experiencing the full glory of Her conscious emanations.

Go for a hike, try spelunking, bathe in a waterfall, sleep under the stars, catch a wave, climb a tree, practice Earthing, make time for birding—and see if you don’t feel revived, renewed and even reborn as a result.

Ask and ye shall receive. What you’re feeling is the divine being known as Mother Nature responding to your consciously connecting with her by imparting some of her own vast power to you. Building up your energy doesn’t get any better—or easier—than that.

5. Following Your Bliss I’ve passed along Joseph Campbell’s famous advice to “follow your bliss” in I don’t know how many interviews when asked if I had any parting words of wisdom for listeners.

My rationale has always been that one’s purpose can be uncovered by discovering one’s bliss, and that spending as much time in that blissful state can fuel one’s purpose in a kind of infinity loop.

Needless to say, but I’ll say it anyway, engaging the bliss of purpose and the purpose of bliss is like mainlining personal power.

If you don’t know how to follow your bliss, start by taking an honest look at what really and truly thrills you.

Ask yourself what you’d do if you could do anything in the whole wide world for a living.

Don’t censor yourself, don’t hold back, don’t try to impress anyone. Encountering your bliss, like meeting your first love, should literally make your skin tingle and hair stand on end.

You might end up validating something you’ve known all along, or you might just discover something new about yourself.

Either way, don’t question, just do.

Miracles happen when we take a leap of faith. In the immortal words of Kurt Vonnegut that perfectly encapsulate the best mindset for playing the game of the simulacrum, “We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.”

4. Stalking Previously, I defined the shamanic art of stalking as a method of refining our self-awareness until we become masters of the tonal, or manifest “reality.”

The term stalking comes from the work of Carlos Castaneda, whose books are admittedly controversial.

Mostly, it seems, people who have a problem with them get hung up on the difficulty of determining whether they’re “fact” or “fiction”—an ultimately meaningless distinction, as explained earlier, when trying to get to the bottom of “reality” in a simulated dreamscape.

Others have, quite correctly, pointed out the disturbingly cultish nature of many of Castaneda’s students and followers. While Castaneda can’t assume all the blame for how others took his ideas and ran with them, he himself, sadly, embodied more than a little of the “cult leader” archetype.

All that being said, there’s no doubt that many of the shamanic techniques allegedly taught to him by his teacher, Don Juan Matus, that he described in his iconic books absolutely work to increase personal power and induce the state of no-mind essential to getting the Great Parasite off our backs and out of our heads.

Despite its unfortunate connotations that have nothing to do with the shamanic discipline it denotes, stalking is, in my view, an unmatched way to become aware of one’s programmed cultish behavior and change it—generating loads of personal power as a fringe benefit.

There are many videos on YouTube and elsewhere that can teach you the rudiments of stalking, and it’s a good idea to start with some of these, especially if you’re pressed for time.

Obviously, mastering this strategy can be greatly facilitated by reading Castaneda’s books as well. But keep in mind there are a dozen of them.

The unfinished manuscript Stalking with the Double written by one of Castaneda’s cohorts, Taisha Abelar, considered a master stalker herself, also merits reading.

Rather than try to outline specific stalking strategies in this brief introduction to a complex discipline, as food for thought and to inspire your own investigation of the topic, 141

I’ll leave you with the following list (edited slightly for purposes of grammatical consistency) of general stalking precepts gleaned from The Eagle’s Gift that an anonymous poster shared on Reddit: 1. Choose your battleground—a warrior never goes into battle not knowing what the surroundings are.

2. Discard everything that is unnecessary.

3. Apply all the concentration you have to decide whether or not to enter into battle, for any battle is a battle for one’s life. Don’t complicate things. Aim at being simple.

4. Relax, abandon yourself, fear nothing; only then will the powers that guide us open the road and aid us.

5. When faced with odds that cannot be dealt with, warriors retreat for a moment, let their minds meander, and occupy their time with something else.

6. Warriors compress time; even an instant counts. A second is an eternity, an eternity that may decide the outcome; aim at succeeding.

7. A stalker never pushes himself to the forefront.

Apply the principles of stalking to daily life, small things at first, leading up to major issues.

“Controlled folly” means to apply the seven principles of stalking to whatever you do, from the most trivial acts to life-and-death situations.

3. Lucid Dreaming Now we’re getting to the really good stuff. In 2014 I released what became a rather popular visionary novel about lucid dreaming, Snooze, and have practiced lucid 142

dreaming myself in addition to reading copiously about it over the years. So I’m fairly confident when I assert that this strategy for acquiring personal power is exceedingly effective.

“Lucid dreaming” was a term coined by a Dutch psychiatrist named Van Eeden early in the 1900s, but the phenomenon was described previously in 1867 by the Marquis d’Hervey de Saint Denys in Dreams & How to Guide Them.

Also known as “astral projection,” lucid dreaming is the act—which on rare occasions can happen spontaneously but more often results from assiduously following specific practices designed to induce it—of becoming aware that one is dreaming while asleep and developing the ability to change and direct one’s dreams.

I don’t mean to suggest lucid dreaming is for everyone or that it’s a piece of cake. But there’s a lot of anecdotal evidence that increasing one’s personal power makes it much easier to go lucid.

Combine greater energy with certain tried and true lucid-dreaming techniques performed on a systematic basis and you’re bound to start “waking up” in your sleep eventually.

And then you’ll automatically start to build up even more personal power. That’s just the nature of lucid dreaming. If it doesn’t make sense now, it will when you experience the oneiric electricity of your first lucid dream!

Here again, as with stalking, YouTube (such as it is) is a perfectly acceptable resource for watching some helpful videos in order to dip your toe in the water of lucid dreaming.

But if you wish to go deeper, the works of Carlos Castaneda—specifically, The Art of Dreaming—are full of useful information and tools for lucid dreaming. I also recommend Being-in-Dreaming by Castaneda’s colleague, Florinda Donner.

Equally worth reading is Ken Eagle Feather’s Toltec Dreaming, in which the author (who claims to have also been a student of Don Juan) explains unequivocally why the mastery of conscious dreaming is so important for anyone seeking to master “reality”: “Reality, or at least the perception of it, is an ever-expanding dream.”

Another splendid book, from an Eastern spiritual perspective, is Dream Yoga & the Practice of Natural Light by Chögyal Namkhia Norbu, who sheds light on the ultimate purpose of yogic lucid dreaming and the greater discipline of Dzogchen to which it belongs: conscious dying into enlightenment and liberation. More on this in the next chapter.

The most to-the-point (to say nothing of versatile) method for learning how to lucid dream I’m aware of actually incorporates elements of stalking, which is interesting because stalking and lucid dreaming have something of a yin-yang relationship in the Toltec shamanism of Castaneda.

This technique, called Quetzaltzin (Venerable Quetzal) in the Tol lineage of Mesoamerican shamanism popularized

by Sergio Magaña, is also a way of performing recapitulation, the subject of the next section.

Detailed in The Toltec Secret, this “Different Venerable and Accounts of Our Life” is performed by wearing xayaca, or special masks, while reciting our life story in front of a mirror for at least 30 minutes a day for 36 straight days.

As “time goes by,” explains Magaña, “the story of your life and your own face become detached from each other until the link is broken completely. Once that relationship is over, the story of your life will stop affecting you.”

This remarkable result is entirely consistent with those of many stalking techniques found in Castaneda’s writings designed to “erase personal history” in order to move towards freedom from what I’ve been calling the World Cult.

Quetzaltzin also, as a matter of course, tends to increase lucidity in dreaming, leading to the experience of what’s known as the “blossom dream” in the Tol tradition where new seeds of possibility can be planted to empower one’s life to flower in new ways.

2. Recapitulation There are various methods proposed by different schools and individual practitioners of shamanism to “recapitulate” one’s life—and the amazing thing is, most of them seem to work in terms of helping heal trauma and restore lost energy.

As taught by Castaneda in his works and Taisha Abelar in The Sorcerer’s Crossing, recapitulation was traditionally performed in caves, a hole/grave in the ground, or a box/coffin of one’s own construction that was ceremonially burned at the end of this lengthy exercise.

Other (especially later) shamans—including one of Castaneda’s colleagues, who once performed a lifechanging recapitulation seated on a crowded Mexican bus—have seemed inclined to soften these stringent requirements. Nowadays people recapitulate their lives in a dark closet, or seated in an armchair with eyes closed, or even wearing a sleep mask in bed.

The Toltec version of recapitulation involves something often referred to as the “fan breath.” One starts with the head turned to one side or the other (it doesn’t seem to matter which). As the head slowly rotates to the opposite side, practitioners—while focused on any memory that has residual energy or unresolved trauma associated with it— breathe in through the nose whatever power or parts of themselves that were left behind in that particular past moment.

Then, turning the head slowly back to its original position, the idea is to breathe out (again, through the 145

nose) whatever fragments of energy that might have been picked up from others that belong to them.

As you progress through all the relevant memories of your life, either in chronological order or by skipping around (an involved process that, as you might imagine, can take many months), two important dynamics are in play concurrently.

On the one hand, you’re building up your own power (with many potential health and wellness benefits). At the same time, you’re also giving back power you knowingly or otherwise took from others (lovers, friends, enemies, teachers, parents, colleagues, bosses, etc.) with whom you’ve had meaningful interactions.

As in the adage, through recapitulation you truly are healing the world (or at least your world) as you heal yourself!

I mentioned there are other ways to achieve similar effects. The Tol lineage, for instance, uses masks and has one stand in front of a mirror speaking to one’s reflection during recapitulation.

The most important thing is that you recapitulate until you’ve reclaimed all your personal energy and given back whatever energy that didn’t belong to you in the first place and there’s nothing left to process.

Long before this point, you’ll likely begin observing profound changes in your inner dialogue, outlook, personality, lifestyle, relationships, health, and (of course) energy.

Recapitulation is a foundational exercise for increasing personal power and is a requirement for those on the shamanic paths of Mesoamerica. Having benefited from it tremendously myself, I can’t praise it enough.

Here again, YouTube can be a helpful resource for getting your recapitulation headed in the right direction.

11 Where in the World CULT Do We Go from Here?

W

hen confronted with the enormity and ubiquity of the World Cult and how seemingly allpowerful and inescapable it is, I completely grok how one can feel defeated before one has even started to fight.

There’s commonly a total freakout moment right when people finally open their eyes to what their world is (and isn’t) when all seems suddenly lost: hope, sanity, purpose, a future worth having for our children and grandchildren.

Who needs “truthers” trying to bring about the End of the World for their Lord and Master, the Great Parasite, by powering up a strong enough narrative of apocalypse when it seems that doomsday is already here?

No wonder Cypher in The Matrix opted to have his memory wiped when he agreed to reenter the simulation.

No wonder so many people choose to keep their eyes closed while closing their minds in their cults of choice. No wonder the sheeple so viciously attack anyone trying to wake the flock up.

This just happened to me again as I was putting the finishing touches on this ebook—this time with a threat of actual physical violence from a fairly prominent member of (drumroll please) an infamous “truther” cult who once supported my work.

With the freak flag flying to new levels, I’m reminded of just how much supportive material relative to mind 151

control and resultant bizarre behavior I’ve neglected to include herein. Stanley Milgram’s obedience experiments in the 1960s, for example, which explored people’s extreme (and extremely dangerous) willingness to obey authority figures—such as cult leaders—even when instructed to do bodily harm to others.

In a way ignorance of the World Cult truly is bliss. To deprive people who aren’t yet ready of their protective cult blindness and deafness can be more of a curse than a blessing.

Fortunately, I’m not writing for or to hardcore cultists, who probably want nothing to do with anything I have to say on this or any other subject. So much the better and good riddance.

No, I’m writing specifically for and to two kinds of readers: those just now becoming aware of the World Cult, who definitely need all the support they can get; and those whose inner gnosis that there’s a way to live (mostly) outside—and even someday transcend—the World Cult already finds itself in the self-empowering process of blossoming.

By detailing our nu-ku-lar option in relation to the World Cult, I hope to have opened up readers to the possibility of being in but not of the Clown Show that’s just going to get much, much worse before it gets better … if it ever does.

And by providing a variety of tools for increasing personal power, I trust I’ve given you hope (as opposed to hopium) that—if nothing else—you have the ability to improve your own life and enhance your freedom even when encircled by a simulacrum that seems hell-bent on enslaving us all.

If you’ve read this far, you know I actually don’t think that’s the case at all. The classroom of this “reality” may be challenging, but as explained in Chapter 7 and as I’ll finish with in a moment, there’s a way to graduate and move on from here that seems to be the main point of this life experience.

In order to chart your progress away from relying on cults to define you toward genuine self-reliance, you might consider taking the quiz at the end of Chapter 5 every few months and keeping track of your scores.

Where Does the World Cult Go from Here?

Now that we have an idea of where we might be able to go relative to the World Cult, where does the World Cult go from here?

Although I’m not exactly wearing rose-colored glasses as I peer into the future where the Collective is concerned, I 153

remain receptive to the possibility of radical change on a worldwide scale.

I innerstand how, theoretically, a large enough group with enough personal power to avoid becoming just another cult could shift their Assemblage Point away from the “place of reason,” where it’s currently locked down and locking down humanity, to a more fluid and creative one and thus change the perceived world in a heartbeat.

My position, however, is that we have no business twiddling our thumbs awaiting such an improbable outcome.

Waiting for personal power to manifest as the force of will in the shamanic manner is one thing (and an energizing one at that). Waiting for the world to change on its own (as is often tacitly promoted by “truthers”) is an exercise in complacency that has the Great Parasite’s handwriting all over it.

I prefer action over paralysis through analysis.

“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it,” said Goethe. “Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.”

So what are you waiting for?

Going beyond the World Cult … & the World A pivotal moment in Carlos Castaneda’s massively influential series of books, which for half a century have inspired countless psychonauts to explore past this scripted construct’s possibilities for becoming, occurs in The Fire from Within.

The title refers to the alleged shamanic ability— accessible only to those seers who have amassed enough personal power—to die consciously in such a way as to reconstitute themselves on the “other side” and, from there, journey intact into “infinity.” Castaneda’s teacher, Don Juan, is reported to have accomplished this in the company and with the help of his party of fellow shamans.

According to this model of human biological translation into the Undiscovered Country that lies beyond this world, the Fire from Within can only be activated in groups. This phenomenon also hinges on a successful full recapitulation of one’s life and reclamation of one’s power and experiences.

But in Sergio Magaña’s elucidation of a similar shamanic lineage, it appears individuals can also achieve this state of transcendence. The “ultimate purpose of nahualism,” he writes, is “finally, rather than dying, to become fire, like a Queztalcóatl.”

In Conscious Healing I explored the concept of activating our “lightbody” (also called the “spiritual body” in the Bible) and how this might be achieved. What I had to say back 155

then—if we might shelve the “truther” rabbit hole that is the “scientific” debate over the existence of DNA—strongly resonates with the notion of generating and being transformed by the Fire from Within.

I cited a study titled “Retrotransposons as Engines of Human Bodily Transformation” by biochemist Colm Kelleher in which he addressed the possibility of radical genetic evolution as a result of a “transposition burst.”

“If one were to hypothesize a transmutation of the human body,” states Dr. Kelleher, it would be necessary to orchestrate a change, cell by cell, involving the simultaneous silencing of hundreds of genes and the activation of a different set of hundreds more. A transposition burst is a plausible mechanism at the DNA/RNA level that could accomplish such a genome wide change. Transposition bursts comprise the concerted movement of multiple mobile DNA elements from different genetic locations to new positions, sometimes on different chromosomes … Human DNA contains an abundance of the necessary genetic structures to accomplish a transposition burst involving hundreds, or even thousands, of genes.

Kelleher theorizes that owing to its tripartite configuration, a particular DNA sequence he identifies would be “an effective participant in large scale transposon mediated genetic change that eventually results in transformation of the human body.”

Clearly, from science to shamanism, people all over the world have endeavored to shed light on the consciousness and biological mechanisms by which humans might actually, bodily exit the Matrix.

This exploration has also been embraced in the East, where Tibetan master Chögyal Namkhia Noru in Dream Yoga & the Practice of Natural Light describes lucid dreaming and other practices in the broader Dzogchen tradition that—like those of Mesoamerican shamanism— 156

allegedly permit an alternative way of dying in which consciousness is maintained.

Here across the world from Mexico, the experience of conscious dying is described in a manner that uncannily echoes the Fire from Within. In editor Michael Katz’s words, “Great yogis who have mastered Dzogchen awareness meditation are able to liberate themselves directly into the great clear light at the moment of death” (my emphasis).

But even for people who don’t qualify as “great yogis,” “progress in the practice of dream yoga and the Dzogchen practice of natural light will allow us to realize a form of enlightenment as we become lucid and aware during moments of sleep. Conversely, continued ignorance within the states of sleeping and dreaming will ensure only continued rebirth within one of the realms of samsara.”

Reading this, I was immediately reminded of the following old Mexihca adage contained in Magaña’s The Toltec Secret: “The person who doesn’t remember their dreams is one of the living dead, as they have no control over their life when they’re awake.”

Now, I’m no “truther” because I know “reality” is an inside job and I’m not trying to prove that anything I’m saying is true. I frankly don’t care what anybody thinks because most people aren’t even thinking with their own mind anyway.

Nor am I attempting to fashion myself into a cult leader.

I have absolutely no interest in controlling anyone in any way. I’m simply offering my observations for your consideration. Do with them what you will.

I, further, freely admit that in this thoroughly subjective realm, I may be as misguided by my own observation-based creative capacity as the next person trying to figure out what’s going on here.

Acknowledging this potential criticism, I wish to emphasize that I’m concerned not so much with what is happening here (which appears infinitely malleable and, 157

for this reason, ultimately unimportant) but with how it’s happening.

To adapt a well-known quote by Thoreau to current circumstances, “There are a thousand ‘truthers’ hacking at the images of the simulacrum to every genuine freethinker who is striking at the source code.”

If there’s even a remote chance that my insights about cults and cultism contain some validity, they deserve serious consideration and perhaps further development by other psychonauts willing to step outside their cult comfort zones and face what is.

At the same time, I’m acutely aware—as Thoreau surely was in his day—that my philosophical insights will be wholly unwelcome in many circles, particularly (in the present case) those of the “truther” variety.

If my perspective is admitted to be valid in those circles, it means the end of “truthing” and thus the days of easy revenue. On the subject of which I’d simply say (with tongue firmly in cheek), Get a real job.

The upshot of my research, if I might be allowed to boil it down to a final soundbite, is this: Where our personal (and maybe, just maybe collective) experience of the World Cult is concerned, it seems we’re destined to travel from dream to dream in search of our destiny ... until we wake up in the dream of our “reality” and realize we’re the ones creating every last bit of it.
