LEADERSHIP COACHING EMPHASIS GROW AS A LEADER Are you looking to grow your leadership skills? Do you enjoy coaching others and want to make a difference in your ministry or workplace? Add graduate level leadership coaching courses to your list of credentials. Courses are conveniently being offered online and each one can be completed in just eight weeks. The series is newly designed and interactive. Coursework allows students to begin the process of certification to become a Blackaby Spiritual Leadership Coach. In Courses 2 and 3, students have the opportunity to be individually coached.

1. JOURNEY INTO LEADERSHIP COACHING (3 CR.) Starts October 20, 2021 - This course provides an overview of leadership coaching. Topics include history and development of coaching, ICF Core Competencies, ethics and standards, strategic inquiry, benefits of coaching for individuals and organizations, how coaching is distinguished from counseling, consulting, and mentoring.

2. SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP COACHING (3 CR.) Coming January 12, 2022 - This course emphasizes incorporating a Christian worldview into the leadership coaching process. In this course, students practice key coaching skills such as deep listening, reflection, prayer, watching for God’s activity, asking powerful questions, and giving direct feedback. Students are coached by a Mentor coach.

3. LEADERSHIP COACHING IN ACTION (3 CR.) Coming March 9, 2022 - Students apply their coaching knowledge to real-world coaching scenarios. Topics include how to start your own coaching business, assessments, coaching in challenging settings, and group and team coaching. Students are coached by a Mentor coach and practice coaching in peer mentoring circles.
