What is your background like?

I am a mother to a son and the eldest sister of 7 siblings. My mother died when I was very young. Before I joined Crowd1, I was working in Dubai, UAE. I returned to the Philippines without finishing my contract in Dubai. I worked as a sales lady for 5 years, with a very low salary, before I was introduced to multilevel marketing.

Choose a superpower, and why?

My superpower is my determination in life to rise above adversity. I must help my siblings because we don't have parents anymore.

What is the best gift you have given someone?

The gift I give to any person is the great opportunity of Crowd1. This business is the best. Follow the teachings of the mentors and coaches. Attend the zoom meetings daily and your dreams will be fulfilled.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by the people God has used to bring this business to the people. Not only mine, but so many other lives have been changed by this business.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was young, I always wanted to be a teacher. My mother died when I was in Grade 1, and as we did not have a lot of money and we were farmers, I was unable to complete my education.

What has been going through your mind lately?

I was shocked and still can't believe that my life had changed in just under 2 years, since I became a member of Crowd1. I have been able to buy a house and a car as well as a condo unit. This all happened in the middle of the pandemic.

What do you work towards in your free time?

In my free time I go to church and pray in gratitude for the blessings God has given me and to all the Crowd1 members and our founder. When I’m not doing business presentations, I also use the time to donate to those less fortunate and the usual housework and laundry.

Our world is progressing and we are more online. With this in mind, how do you make real connections?

Everything today is online, and I need to be on top of what is happening otherwise I will be left behind. I use Facebook to promote my business, and I use Zoom for meetings. I am able to reach anyone, anywhere in the world.

What is your background like?

I come from a long line of a dedicated, loving, and hardworking family. I was born and raised in Ponsonby, Auckland; a New Zealand born Samoan. I am married to Chris who is Maori, and we have 3 beautiful children; half Samoan half Maori. Growing up both my parents worked, my mum worked two jobs to provide for a household of 15 people all from Samoa, in a 3-bedroom home. My parents sacrificed and dedicated their time to provide for our family, for which I am truly grateful.

How did you get to where you are now?

I was introduced to this concept in May 2020 by my older sister Asoono. At the time, we were both looking for a second income to help with our families. I went all in; I didn’t understand it at first but I was willing to learn and was determined to make it work.

In September 2020 I was diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer. My whole world shattered, and I went into a dark place and hated the world. I resigned from my job, so I decided to continue with the business. I had my operation on the left-side to have the lumps removed and the same day of the operation the medical team found another lump on the right side and sadly, it was cancer.

Again, I was hit with more bad news and I was either going to give up or continue the business and continue is what I did. Before Christmas I had my double mastectomy, I healed and recovered and am currently going through my chemotherapy treatments. Despite all the challenges I am facing, I am truly grateful for this business. It is my saving grace.

What is the best gift you have given someone?

Time, giving people your time shows what really matters. You don't know what they are going through, so you’re there to listen and show that you genuinely care.

Who inspires you?

My mum who forever prays for my health, family and my business and always shows me support. She encourages and motivates me to strive to be a better person. My family always respects the time I put into my business. I do this for them.

What does Crowd1 mean to you?

Crowd1 has helped me grow within the business despite my health and challenges I face, I continue to learn from my leaders and team and to never give up, so that I am able to help others. I love this community, and even though we are all from different teams, everyone comes together to help and support each other: one team, one dream.

What is your background like?

I grew up in Zimbabwe; born and educated in Zimbabwe. I trained and qualified as a Nurse. I never thought that I would one day leave the country and settle overseas. But due to the economic situation in Zimbabwe, I had to move on. I moved to the United Kingdom over 20 years ago. I am married with 4 children.

How did you get to where you are now?

I worked as a nurse for many years but realised that my time was completely controlled. There was less time for my family. I then started my own business in Occupational Health Services. Things were going very well, until the pandemic hit in 2019 and I lost a number of contracts. When I lost my contracts for Occupational Health, I had to work Crowd1 full time. Crowd1 is the best opportunity, and I am very blessed to have it as it helped me through this pandemic period. The pandemic has also affected my family back home in Zimbabwe. I still look after my mom, so I need to earn money, not only for my immediate family here in the UK, but also for my family back home.

If you could coach your younger-self, what would you tell them?

I was very shy when I was younger. And the way we were brought up, it was - go to school, get very good grades and get a good job. You will then be able to look after your parents. As a younger person, I just wanted to do the best and make my parents happy. I would say to my younger self, to take any opportunity that comes my way and learn about it and you never know where it could take you.

What is the best advice you have received?

If you want to succeed in this business, you need to stay focused, set your goals and when your goal is clear you will find your way to succeed.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I was always passionate about nursing and always wanted to become a nurse and I achieved that. And when this pandemic is over, I can always go back to nursing. This is the type of occupation that will always be there.

What do you work towards in your free time?

I’m always reading motivation books. It’s important to keep developing yourself. I’m always thinking of other ways of team building and doing our Zoom calls every day. The pandemic is easing up here in the UK, so we might start having team meetings. I am always thinking of ways to keep in contact with my teams.

What is your background like?

I grew up in New Zealand, and lived on both the North and South Islands. I’m of mixed culture – my mother is from the Pacific Islands of Western Samoa and my father is a Caucasian NZ Kiwi. When I was growing up, the mixed culture and growing up in different places and going to different schools led to some insecurities. As I got older those insecurities have helped me to help other people. I have realised that not everybody fits into nice, neat boxes. I have been able to help others through my own experiences.

How did you get to where you are now?

I am now divorced, with three children. When I first divorced, I moved back in with my parents and had to very quickly reinvent myself. I was in my mid 40’s, married, had had a wife and family with a home and now it had all changed, and for various reasons I had lost everything. A friend introduced me to network marketing about five years ago. I learnt a lot from my first introduction to network marketing through motivational videos and audios. I was able to move from the 9-5 dead-end to where I am now.

What has been the biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge is having lived for 35 years one way – the 9-5 grinder and working for an employer. That is all you have. You are living your life on autopilot. You can hide your feelings and thoughts in that way of life. I went from old habits and ways to a new and current life that I’m in where you have to take full responsibility for your behaviour and actions. It’s all up to me and not up to someone telling me what to do. That is a massive change. It’s taken me a full year – because I have been with Crowd1 for a year now – to fully appreciate where I am now. And now I just have to build on the foundations.

What does Crowd1 mean to you?

It means so much. When you think of 35 years living a different way and within two months being set free from that. What those 35 years couldn’t do, Crowd1 did in two months. It provides the ability for dreams to come true. I have been able to create a life that I have only dreamed of and now have choices in your life. It gives peace and serenity.. I am very grateful for the better place I am in now. I’m grateful to be in Crowd1.

What is your background like?

I am a hardworking man, with two children to support. I am currently separated from my wife. When I finished school I worked in a factory and then took up network marketing. I didn’t earn much from these network marketing businesses and was not sure about Crowd1 in the beginning. What did appeal to me was the pay-out in Euros. Where can you earn Euros without being in Europe? That was a good return for me.

What has been the biggest challenge?

When I put the Crowd1 business opportunity forward to my friends and relatives and saw their rejection, that was a great challenge to overcome. In the beginning their rejections made me sad. The problem was around my personal presentation. As I was still working the scrap business, my appearance was not good having just come from sorting garbage and I went around on a scooter. So my appearance did not show that this business was making me successful. But I am very motivated and positive and pushed through this negative reaction. After hard work and perseverance, I have been able to grow my team who are now all over the world.

If you could coach your younger self what would you tell them?

I would tell my younger self that if you encounter an opportunity to change your life, stay focused and don’t be afraid to encounter failure, because all successful people undergo trials and failure.

What is the best gift you have given someone?

The opportunity of Crowd1 and the opportunity to change their lives for the better. I started out as a garbage collector, who people didn’t have much respect for, who didn’t believe that I could be a successful businessman and I can now share my progress and success with others.

What has been going through your mind lately?

Now that I have proved that I am a successful businessman thanks to Crowd1, I am planning to go home to my hometown Surigao del Norte and share this amazing opportunity with my community. I am going to build and expand my team and share the opportunity of Crowd1.

What does Crowd1 mean to you?

Crowd1 has shown me what potential I really have, and the opportunity to grow, learn and be successful. Crowd1 is a unique opportunity to start your own business with very little start-up capital. This is not a business to sit back and let it work itself, you have to be constantly active in growing your team and supporting them. Crowd1 is an opportunity for everyone to improve their lives – but you need to work at it!
