GROUPING
Single Family Housing Location: Santa Catarina, NL | 2014 The form of the home is derived from the room schedule, which answers to the categorization of functions in the different areas. A strong separation between residential spaces and common areas is possible thanks to the site’s topography.

HOUSE No. 4
COMPACTNESS
Single Family Housing Conceptual Design | 2018 Intended for future Mexican families that do not enjoy multifamiliar buildings in a time when the urban sprawl has reached its limit. House No. 4 was designed as a part of a pedestrian urban residential block with different types of dwellings, where the green areas and public spaces are to be shared.

INTEGRATION
12
Elementary School “Prof. Laura G Caloca Location: Monterrey, NL | 2016 Given the rivalry between students of the morning and afternoon sessions, it was decided to focus the intervention in a space that could be shared, while being permeable in order to keep visual communication between the interior and the exterior. With the intention of integrating students, checkers / chess boards were created in the concrete floor by having different finishes; and it was proposed that the pieces were fabricated as a joint effort by the students of both time sessions.

SOCSA CULTURAL CENTRE
NODE
Team: ร ngel Sรกnchez, Andrea Montiel Location: Monterrey, NL | 2016 As part of the SOCSA Chair, a musem was projected with an emphasis in both architectural/structural design and digital modelling. The cultural centre offers the opportunity of creating a public space where art, society and nature meet. By lifting the building from the ground, the land becomes a big and accessible park.

INCLUSION
20
Team: Eugenia Torres, Arely Ortiz Location: Monterrey, NL | 2016 Finalist Project The National Academy of Architecture (Monterrey Section) organized a competition with the purpose of receiving propositions for an empty plot of land located in the vicinity of Fundidora Park - Santa LucĂa Riverwalk. Our proposition consisted in a Community Centre that eliminates the barriers between the corridor and the nearby neighbourhoods -by the use of openings and pedestrian trails-, while making the best use out of the site’s topography.

Urbanism - City Map 22
MONTERREY CITY
GRATITUDE
Metropolitan Area Monterrey, NL | 2019 The idea of creating a map of the city, came from the feeling of debt I had towards the place that I called home for 11 years. My intention was to capture in an abridged illustration the landmarks and places that give identity to the city. Many spaces are purposefully missing, as I included only those that were part of my experience and understanding of the city while living there.

VALLE DE CUMBRES SPORTS CLUB
PLATFORMS
Valle de Cumbres Team: Esther Cervantes Location: Monterrey, NL | 2015 When the gated community was developed in the northwest of the city, a sports club was proposed as an amenity for the residents. The land has a seven meter variation, which is why the use of platforms was decided; where each one responds to different uses. Considering the incline, it was primordial to have accessible circulations while mantaining the sense of unity.

MOBILITY
lMPLAN San Nicolรกs de los Garza Location: San Nicolรกs, NL | 2016 The project that was proposed to the Municipal Institute of Planning has the intention of creating knowledge and raising awareness in regard to the difficulties and disadvantages that pedestrians experience in the city. It was carried out in the main street of the municipality, and consists in expanding walking infrastructure, making bus stops more visible, and discouraging the use of private automobiles.
