Words from our President & Executive Director Thank you for letting us share with you the extraordinary things God has been doing in our community! We truly believe God is calling us to restore our community through reconciliation, love, and justice. Our hope is to one day see north Tulsa restored with healthy people (physically, emotionally, and spiritually), faithful families (husbands and wives faithful to their marriage vows and faithfully raising their children to love God), peaceful neighborhoods (a community where people love their neighbors as they love themselves), and thriving institutions (effective schools and businesses that become a place where people are able to create opportunities for themselves and others).

We believe it is vital that the people at Crossover live as neighbors in north Tulsa. So, full-time employees live in north Tulsa and church members are encouraged to move north if they do not already live here. We recognize the vital role partners from all over the Tulsa area play in helping fulfill the call to restore north Tulsa. We believe these partners have a wonderful way to support Crossover, more specifically north Tulsa, by coming alongside us to create these opportunities.

Christian Community Development Association

Relocation: Living among the people you are serving, resulting in you wanting for your neighbor and your neighbor’s family what you want for yourself and your family; taking a personal stake in the development of the neighborhood. Transforming, “you, them, and theirs” to “we, us, and ours.”

Reconciliation: The gospel authentically reconciles people to God and people to people resulting in you intentionally loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Christians coming together to solve the problems of their community demonstrate oneness, and it will break down every racial, ethnic, and economic barrier.

Redistribution: A distribution of resources that is founded in people being visibly present and living in the community (relocation) and loving the people of the community well (reconciliation). This is God’s people using their resources (including talents, skills, and relationships) to address the problems in their community.
