Dear Supporters of Iredell’s Youth,
Thank you for catching up with Crosby Scholars of Iredell County. And thanks for supporting local students on their journey to higher education and a rewarding career.
We understand that each student is on a unique journey. They come from all walks of life and every socio-economic background. They have varied, sometimes difficult situations at home. Combined with consistent increases in tuition and housing costs, finding a path to success can seem impossible.
We help students navigate that journey and unlock their potential. We offer programs to strengthen academic performance Career exploration sessions help students discover attainable careers. And we provide guidance to access the financial aid that can turn a dream into reality
Since 2015, we’ve built a strong record of achievement We have provided countless hours of career exploration sessions, along with essay reviews and SAT/ACT test prep. We've led dozens of college campus tours And we've provided more than $260,000 in scholarships to more than 1400 program graduates.
But our efforts can only succeed with the hard work of our dedicated staff, amazing community partnerships and YOUR support
Donations to Crosby Scholars of Iredell County support programs offered to all students. They also make possible grants and scholarships for those facing extreme financial hardship But your support means more than dollars and cents
Your support reverberates throughout our community and society at large Investing in young minds can change lives, while building a brighter future for all. Your financial support will:
Enable more students to extend their education beyond high school Reduce the burden of student loan debt and its long-term implications. Expand our outreach and support to help even more students
Foster a culture of educational empowerment and social mobility.
Thank you for considering our request. You can help us change lives, one scholarship or grant at a time Together, we can empower a generation, guide them on their journey and make the dream of higher education a reality.

"I plan to continue my education at the University of Florida majoring in biochemistry Upon completion of a medical degree, I would like to return to Iredell County and serve the residents of Mooresville as an orthopedic surgeon Thank you for your contribution to meet this goal! What’s next for these scholarship recipients?
"As a student who immigrated all the way from the Middle East seeking a brighter future here in the States has been an enormous challenge for me and my brothers This scholarship serves as a reminder that amidst the challenges there are still moments of kindness and encouragement to make this journey worthwhile
Receiving this scholarship will allow me to continue my educational journey at Le Moyne College in the fall as part of their direct entry physicians assistant program I am so thankful for the academic guidance Crosby has provided me and can t wait to bring the skills I have learned to college with me
