Hairstyle Hair is to be neat, clean, properly combed of modest and professional length, and a natural color (No Mohawks, afros, baldheads or designs). Moustaches and goatees may be worn if they are cut close, neat and properly groomed. Sideburns must be above the earlobe. Make-up/Cologne Make-up and nail polish are not allowed. Minimal or no cologne use is suggested. Tattoo No visible tattoos are permitted. Sweaters School sweaters are optional during summer and spring. Student should wear sweater in the winter. No other jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, Cristo Rey Philadelphia sweatshirts or other pieces of outer clothing are permitted inside the school or workplace. Students are required to purchase the school’s sweater. Hats/Sunglasses Hats, caps, visors, headbands, scarves and sunglasses are not permitted Proper uniform attire for FEMALE students is as follows: Skirts A plaid skirt will be worn and purchased from Flynn & O’Hara Uniform Company with modesty shorts. Skirts must be no shorter than the top of the knee when standing. Charcoal gray dress pants are optional during the winter. Shirts Only a white button-down shirt or blouse is permitted. All buttons must be buttoned at all times, only with the exception of the top button. Undershirts should be white with no writing, images, and/or designs. Undergarments should not be able to be seen. Tights/Socks Solid tights (no shine) in navy, gray, black or white may be worn. Solid navy, grey, black or white knee-high socks are permitted in excessive hot weather. Designs/stripes are not permitted. Shoes Only black leather or synthetic leather dress shoes are permitted. No open-toed or high-heeled shoe. Sneakers, boots, Vans, (or Van-like shoes), Ugg boots/slippers or sandals are not permitted. Jewelry Jewelry is limited to one pair of tasteful earrings worn on the ear lobe (no larger than a quarter and no name earrings), an appropriate necklace worn underneath the shirt and a single watch or bracelet.
