Woman arrested for selling marijuana edibles at church event Savannah (WTGS/FOX 28)Ê- Two women face felony drug charges after agents with the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team found they were selling marijuana edibles at a church event in Savannah, Georgia. Agents say Ebony Cooper, 28, and Leah Pressley, 26, were openly selling the THC laced baked goods at an event last Friday that the church was hosting for local entrepreneurs. They say there were various types of cereal treats, brownies and puddings for sale.

TBI to investigate officer-involved shooting in Memphis POSTED 1:39 PM, SEPTEMBER 18, 2018 - wreg.com MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday it will conduct an independent investigation into a shooting by a Memphis Police officer. The officer who shot a man during a traffic stop Monday night has been relieved of duty while investigators review body cam and dashboard camera footage, the Memphis Police Department said. MPD said the officer is a 26-year-old black male, and they will release his name after debriefing. WREG learned he has been with the force about a year and a half. The man who was shot, 25-year-old Martavious Banks, remained in critical condition and 12 underwent surgery Tuesday. Family members said he is a father of two.

MADISON 3 COUNTY ATTORNEY SUSPENDED AFTER CLIENT COMPLAINTS JACKSON, Tenn. — A Madison County attorney has been suspended from practicing law after complaints from a client, according to the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. Angela Hopson was suspended Thursday, and her suspension is in effect for two years, according to the TBPR.
