Breast Cancer affects us all every year. We know that it is something that is very close to the hearts of millions of Cricut Community members, and so this October we are giving back through the help of our community. Cricut is donating $1000 and hopes to raise another $1000 through the support of the Cricut community during or Breast Cancer Awareness Month or Pink October.
We are always heartened to hear of members who are using their machine to make a difference. Cricut users constantly show their generosity for supporting causes. By partnering with Cricut in this effort we are able to bring our community together again to collectively use creativity as a way to raise funds for this deserving cause. We have all been affected in one way or another by Breast Cancer and together we are fighting to support everyone who goes through it. Together we make a difference.
By creating Pink projects during October, tagging your project in Design Space using #CricutPinktoberMETA you can be a part of the fundraising initiative. For every project made and tagged in Design Space Cricut will donate $1 per project raining money for the Breast cancer association. Let’s help this worthy cause by crafting pink all month long.

Materials To Cut
Cricut Infusilbe Ink Transfer Sheets
Pink, Black
Because I dislike T-shirts and white isn’t my colour. I chopped the sleeves off a Cricut shirt, cut a short slit up the side and dyed it a light pink.
Everything Else Cut
After finalizing your design, click “Make It” to send it to the printer, then proceed to cut it with your Cricut machine.

Assemble
Begin by preparing the T-Shirt with your EasyPress.
Once your design is complete, press make it. In this window be sure to select mirror for all the colour mats.
Place the Infusible ink sheet, shinny side down on your mat, be sure to match the colour of the canvas on your screen.
Repeat step 2 for all the colour mats.
When weeding Infusible ink sheets carefully use your fingers and not your weeding tool. The reason for this is if you stab or scratch the sheet, small specks of ink may stick to the carrier sheet which will transfer to the shirt.
Carefully remove the pink pieces of Infusible ink and place them in the correct position ( colour side up) on the carry sheet of the black Infusible ink. You want to press the bees with both colours in one press. If you did it in 2 presses, so black first and then pink, you will notice the carrier sheet of the pink will removed some of the black ink from the shirt where it over laps it.
For the back of the shirt
Place the words on the shirt and carefully cut the carry sheet where needed so it does not overlap each other. If you using the Cricut 9x9 easy press you will notice the text is much longer, therefore you need to do it in two parts, but make sure you don’t let your press touch the already pressed text.
