This coverage was on par with prior years’ coverage, despite the shrinking news outlets. Post-event coverage included a variety of feature pieces. Additional coverage included placements in local journals, newsletters, weekly newspapers and blogs.

A series of 12 news releases was developed and distributed to local and regional media on a monthly, then weekly, basis as the event neared. Releases highlighted different facets of the Gala, in-

The annual event celebrates food with hors d’oeuvres prepared by students at the Academy of Culinary Arts and the house specialties of 40 of the area’s best restaurants at a progressive dining experience. A dessert extravaganza, co-organized by Chef Deborah Pellegrino of Caesars Entertainment and Chef Michael D’Angelo of the Academy of Culinary Arts, will complete the evening’s festivities, including tiered cakes, chocolate stations and petit fours, to name a few. March 27, 2015 Winners Announced for 50/50 Restaurant Gala Raffle MAYS LANDING—Lucky ticket-holders shared in $8,900 in prizes at this year’s Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala 50/50 Raffle held March 26, at Bally’s Atlantic City. The winners include: First Prize, $5,340, Greg Koshland of Sea Isle City Second Prize, $2,670, Tom Ward of Moorestown Third Prize, $890, Michael Devlin of Hammonton Winning amounts were based on the number of tickets sold. This year, 178 raffle tickets were sold at $100 each, raising $8,900 for grants, emergency aid and leadership development for Atlantic Cape students. In its history, the Gala has raised $3 million for scholarships and Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation operations.
