2020-2021 Semester 2 Event Update Teacher Assistant Idea: MCHS Teachers can submit a Google Form requesting assistance for tasks that students are able to assist/help with. Members that apply for this event will be assigned to a teacher and be forwarded task requests. Depending on the teacher and task, some may also work in groups. Ultimately, this event will be based on teacher needs.Â

Artists for Doctors Idea: In the Artists for Doctors Event, student volunteers will be asked to create small cards or notes with messages to thank doctors and other medical staff for their hard work throughout the pandemic. With this event, small cards or notes will be delivered to local/nearby hospitals to show our appreciation for their hard work.

2020-2021 Semester 2 Event Update: Hey Mayde Creek Key Clubbers, After careful consideration of our event ideas, the Teacher Assistant and Artists for Doctor events have both been changed to be Semester 2 events. Within this month, we will be finalizing our partnerships with Mayde Creek Elementary and a local retirement home facility to begin those two alternative Semester 1 events. We will send out updates ASAP as soon as the details have been finalized! Thanks!

Newsletter Editor's Note: (Fariba Hossain- MCHS KC Editor)

Editor's Note September, 2020 Hey Mayde Creek Key Club, My name is Fariba Hossain and I am a current sophomore at MCHS! How has school been going so far for y’all? The third six weeks are close to ending and finals are coming up! I am nervous about them and I hope that my grades don’t go down! I have no idea which classes to exempt yet and it’s been stressing me out a little! It has been getting colder so it’s perfect to watch movies and drink hot cocoa! Do y’all have any movies that you absolutely have to watch? I personally love watching The Nightmare Before Christmas! I love winter and the cold is just so refreshing and nice to be in. We have lots in store for our club members so be on the lookout for updates on our social media! Wishing y’all a great day and don't forget to stay safe! Yours Truly, Fariba Hossain Mayde Creek Key Club Organization Editor
