Suncoast Singers
Suncoast Singers provides uplifting singing experiences for adults with a variety of musical backgrounds. Their musical library includes classical, Broadway, rock, and pop selections. The organization has mastered a balance of discipline and humor while encouraging all ages to experience being part of a unique instrument — the human voice. Elementary through high school students take part in their November Patriotic concerts. Churches provide venues for their popular dinner concerts.

Tampa Bay Symphony
In its 37th season, the all-volunteer Tampa Bay Symphony’s (TBS) primary goal is to enrich the community by broadening exposure to classical music through fall, winter, and spring concerts. They host the annual Jack Heller Young Artist Competition, the state’s longest-running young artist competition, and annual International Composition Competition, which receives entries from 90 composers in 17 different countries. TBS performs at the Palladium in St. Petersburg and St. Pete College Clearwater Campus.

Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center
The Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center (PAC) is located inside City Hall, which is itself an old, historic school building and designated historic landmark. The Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre
The Nancy and David Billheimer Capitol Theater located in downtown Clearwater’s Cleveland Street District, was constructed in 1921 and is one of Florida’s oldest operating theaters. In 2019, their theater underwent a massive expansion to include expanded seating and lobby spaces, six private loge boxes, an outdoor balcony overlooking the Clearwater Causeway, a VIP lounge, and a rooftop terrace. This theater offers the perfect setting for live performances including music, comedy and one-man shows.

Your Real Stories
Your Real Stories (YRS) creates programs to engage people in conversation about race in America. Using “theatrical journalism,” YRS challenges people to talk and listen to each other across perceived differences of identity, experience, and opinions. They record and archive reallife stories of people around Florida, produce plays and documentaries, create curriculum materials for K-12 and for university-level courses, and produce an annual storytelling festival. yourrealstories.org
