ARABIAN NIGHTS Explore the souks and sites of Morocco on a 14-day Highlights of Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. Follow the must see, taste and tour guide for a truly authentic experience. SITES TO VISIT

DRESS CODE

Casablanca: This busy metropolis is more westernised than other parts of Morocco, with contemporary art galleries, hip bars, restaurants and designer fashion. Most flights and trains depart from here, but if you can, spend time exploring the city.

Respectful dress codes apply, particularly if you don’t want to attract attention. Wear long shorts, long skirts or trousers, and t-shirts or long-sleeve shirts. Loose flowing fabrics will keep you cool in the heat.

Marrakech: You will be spellbound by the labyrinth of alleyways and bustling city market stalls pulsating with energy. Here you can pick up exotic homewares, jewellery and fabrics, or watch the snake charmers work their magic.

TOUR DETAILS

The Sahara: For the experience of a lifetime, climb onto a camel and explore the desert in a traditional Moroccan turban. High Atlas Mountains: These are the highest mountains in North Africa. Admire the views from the top of rugged coastlines and desert plains.

On the tour, travellers will enjoy guided walks in Meknes, Fez, Marrakech, Volubilis and Essaouira, an overnight stay at a Berber tented camp, a camel excursion in the desert, hiking in the High Atlas Mountains and a visit to a local village farmland near Todra. The tour is priced from $1599* per person and includes accommodation throughout the tour. Enjoy breakfast daily, three dinners, entrance fees, a tour leader and all sightseeing as per the itinerary. See in-store for travel dates and further details.

FOOD TO TRY Be courageous and explore the local fare. We recommend tagines with couscous, slow-cooked meat or fish stew in a terracotta pot, preserved lemons, Moroccan mint tea, harira, a zesty tomato soup and briouats, sweet almond pastries.
