Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Our staff of highly trained Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians offers EMG/NCV testing for radiculopathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy. Second opinion evaluations and independent medical exams are also available, as well as non-surgical treatment plans for back and neck pain, herniated discs, radiculopathy and repetitive use disorders.

Our History Founded in 1949, Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists has long delivered quality care, keeping patients active and pain free in the greater Kansas City and Jackson County area. We provide both surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

Our physicians treat arthritis, ankle sprains, fracture repair, heel pain, achilles tendon issues, neuromas, diabetic foot care, foot/ankle fusions and replacements.

Fracture Care Our board-certified physicians are experienced in extremity and pelvis fracture reconstruction, deformity correction, and bone transplantation. They utilize leading-edge techniques including minimally invasive surgery and advanced external fixation. The latest in bone graft substitutes and bone-forming proteins are often used to assist in the reconstruction of bones that have not healed.

Hand, Wrist and Elbow Surgery Our physicians use the most innovative, minimally invasive techniques to decrease the pain and recovery time of patients undergoing treatment of both common and complex hand, wrist and elbow conditions.

Knee and Hip Surgery Our hip and knee specialists are highly-trained, experienced surgeons that offer relief to patients with hip and knee pain by providing a holistic approach and a full range of treatment solutions, starting with therapy and medication, as well as a variety of surgical options.

Shoulder Surgery Our goal is to create an individualized treatment program depending on the condition and lifestyle of their patients. Using minimally invasive procedures, our physicians are able to return patients back to work and to their active lifestyles in an efficient, timely manner.

The shoulder surgical procedures performed by our physicians treat conditions ranging from common problems such as impingement to complex reconstructions for arthritis, fractures, instability, and rotator cuff tears.

Sports Medicine Our physicians are board-certified, fellowship-trained specialists in sports medicine. They believe in a comprehensive approach to treating sports injuries, which includes superior diagnostics, physical therapy, pain management, and when necessary, the latest surgical techniques.

Total Joint Replacement Our Total Joint Physicians utilize cutting edge techniques combined with years of experience in order to produce quality patient outcomes.

Hip, knee and shoulder replacements constitute the vast majority of surgeries performed, however we also offer elbow, ankle and finger joint replacements as well.
