WELCOME to the Soul Driven Success Business Academy. This Manual is intended to give you an overview of how the program works so you can make it work for you!

We have found that it works best when you take the time to see the big picture, have clarity on the process and a clear understanding of how things work

To that end we suggest you read this manual, read through the contracts and designed alliance materials, and bring any and all questions you have to us

COMMUNICATION

The campus of our Academy is located in the online community platform, Soul Driven Success Community (on the Mighty Networks software)

There you will find the course curriculum, the group call schedules, workshops, 21 Day Challenges, an engaged community on the chat and activity feeds, as well as ways to connect with Curtis, Kat and all the other wonderful coaches in the community.

Please feel free to contact Curtis via email, text, and DM on the SDS Community Platform. He is always available to support you, answer your questions, and offer help when you ’ ve run into something that is perplexing

The best way to reach Kat is through the DM on the SDS Community Platform If you share a Milestone Doc with Kat, that is for your curriculum work; it’s not the best way to communicate other things with her Use the DM

Our VA, Jackie, is the person to contact if you have an issue scheduling a coaching session with Kat (Jackie@SoulDrivenSuccess com)

You will also have an initial onboarding call with Curtis that includes answering questions, showing you around the SDS Community Platform, going over the Milestone Doc system, and making sure you understand the agreements and guidelines.

PAYMENTS

You’ll pay for the program using a monthly subscription software that automatically deducts the fee each month It is a flexible software, so if you need to change the payment date, or anything else about it, just tell Curtis

Your payments cover all the tangible features of whatever program you are in They also cover the intangibles of engaging in this community, like having Curtis available to answer any questions and support you in many ways, having Kat’s ongoing attention and her creative strategies tailored specifically for your business,

You will have different levels of engagement available, at different price points, to match your needs as you move through this process. Our intention is to offer a comprehensive series of material for you to use along with your engagement in this community to create the business you love

LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION

1.Business Training Program with Coaching: – one 45-minute coaching session each monthminimum 6-month commitment

COMMITMENT & POLICIES

Two decades of experience in the coaching profession have taught us that it takes most new coaches between one and three years to move from startup to sustainable success As written above, we think this is a healthy and accurate mindset to have at the beginning of your journey

We require a six-month commitment from you to start our program, after which you may continue at that level, change your level, or leave As long as you are continually in the program, your subscription price will remain the same. Should you leave and decide to return later on, the price may have changed.

We do not allow pauses - you are either an engaged participant with an active monthly subscription (even when you may be on vacation for a few weeks or taking a break from the work) or not. You will, however, be able to move a coaching session forward a month if needed.

Once your subscription ends, your access to the courses and calls will expire at the end of the paid month You will have access to your Milestone Doc (without support) for a year, after which it will be deleted We recommend that you copy it into your own Drive to continue using it after you leave

Here’s a good thing to note:

Even though your commitment is for six months, we have found that it takes a one-to-three-year investment of time, money and energy to create a sustainable, meaningful and fulfilling business and career as a coach

CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT

Good agreements are essential for your success. Please look over the legal contract for your program to ensure that you understand your commitment. Our contract is generally in alignment with the ICF Guidelines. Most people don’t read these, and you may not, but knowing we have a strong and respectful legal relationship is important to us. Whereas the contract is a static legal document, our ongoing working relationship is always a work in progress

ONGOING DESIGNED ALLIANCE

We have a high value for keeping the designed alliance alive, so we encourage you to revisit this manual and agreements whenever you feel uncertain about how best to move through the program to achieve your vision and goals

You will have the opportunity to design an alliance when you join the group calls and with your coach for private coaching Let’s keep designing and redesigning our alliances as you move through the program and courses The regular Check In Calls are an excellent time to do this, but anytime you feel the need is also a good time

REGULAR CHECK-IN CALLS

We will schedule regular check-in calls to connect around your goals and experience in the program. If needed, we’ll redesign our alliance during the call.

THE FEATURES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAMS

Private Coaching

As coaches, we all know the power of individual coaching.

The private sessions work in tandem with other powerful features of our program: the shared Milestone Docs, the five Courses, the Mastermind & Curriculum Group Coaching calls, the engaged online community, the Buddy System, and the quarterly workshops followed by the 21 Day Challenges with live training.

It takes a village to raise up a sustainable coaching business and the private coaching is an opportunity to personally integrate the wealth of learning opportunities that are available Your coach will get to know you well in order to guide you to the activities that are right for you and your business

Shared Milestone Docs

These are the shared Google Docs that you and your coach will use as you move through the exercises and activities of the Onboarding Process and the EVOLVE Your Coaching Business Course They are also available for the Group Coaching Mastery Course

You might think of these shared docs as your workshop where you gather and shape the materials that ultimately build a solid and sustainable coaching business

Be sure to ask for help if you don’t understand how to use this valuable tool.

Curriculum Group Calls

The Curriculum Calls are intended for you to bring the curriculum that you are working on (or have questions about) to the calls You will receive guidance, feedback, brainstorming, or whatever is appropriate to further your learning

We welcome you to bring your “not knowing” to these calls as well! If you are stuck, confused, or feel like you are behind, these are especially good times to get yourself to a Curriculum Call! The structure of these calls is simple Everyone who wants to participate will drop a number in the chat indicating the order they wish to be helped There is no allotted time, but everyone will get a chance to be in the spotlight

You can also come to the calls to hear what others are working on Often, the greatest benefit from these calls comes from insights gained from what others are working on

These calls occur twice a month at 9 AM on Tuesday and 5 PM on Thursday. They alternate the days with the Mastermind Calls.

Mastermind Group Coaching Calls

There is a monthly theme for these calls They begin with a little insight into the theme and a question for the group to explore together After this, everyone who wants to share will get a timed space to share whatever is on their mind

Your topic can be business building, coaching skills, or personal It may just be “where I am now”, or “I just came to listen” All topics are welcome on these calls

To be a part of this group, we ask that you make a commitment to be on the calls as much as possible, to create a connection among the members

Community Platform

All the magic that happens in the Soul Driven Success Academy is located on our online platform. Think of this as your campus. It’s a user-friendly private space where you can chat, post questions, connect with others in the community, and offer & receive support.

It’s where all the group calls, valuable downloads, Kat’s podcast, workshops, 21 Day Challenges, and the course curriculum can be accessed.

The more you engage, the more you receive from the community’s wisdom and fun We recommend you download the app and familiarize yourself with the navigation and capabilities of this resource

As always, contact Curtis for support and guidance on how to navigate and use this software

Coaching Buddies

This is an optional feature with a huge benefit!

You can choose to have a different coaching buddy paired up with you each month. You will be matched up via email and can choose to connect or not.

This is a great way to get to know the people in the community in a way that is personal and gives you the opportunity to have some one-on-one time with a fellow coach sharing the journey with you.

Quarterly Workshops and 21-Day Challenges

We have four live workshops a year that are open to the public free of charge We would love to have you share these with coaches you know who you think would benefit from them

For the program members, this is an ideal time to get training on something you are currently working on or will be working on in the program. The workshops are lively, interactive events that are always fun and fruitful.

Following each workshop, we host a 21 Day Challenge.

These Challenges have become treasured among our program participants because they give you an opportunity to get full on support from Kat and Curtis and the whole community to achieve a short-term goal

There is a mix of our community members and non-member coaches who are giving the Soul Driven Success Academy a test drive This adds up to a dynamic mix Once the Challenge ends, folks have renewed enthusiasm and a great sense of accomplishment.

The Big Picture

These features each have individual benefits. There is a bigger benefit when you bring them all together!

This is why this program is so effective for the coaches willing to put in the time and effort You get individual attention, effective online and live training, videos, worksheets, live coaching calls, and a wonderful community to support you You have access to Kat, Curtis and other coaches for ongoing support and inspiration

You can participate in any or all of it without obligation We encourage you to take part as fully as possible

Read the Pathways to Success and begin to choose your Pathway THE PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS

Here is a description of each pathway. We have found it helps orient people when they can see ALL the pathways and then focus on the one that they will begin with.

It’s important to remember as you read this that there is never a straight and narrow pathway. Pathways curve around and take unexpected twists and turns for every entrepreneur in business It doesn’t seem to matter how skilled or experienced one is; life tends to offer us many opportunities to learn and grow

The Onboarding Process will ground you in your strengths, the stage of business yours occupies, our agreements and designed alliance process, and the initial vision you have for your business

THE FOUR PATHWAYS

1. Coach in Training Stage

When you enter at this point you are in a training program and focused on becoming a masterful coach You may want to begin building a coaching business at the same time as you are in training You may not

You might want to focus on your training program and dip into the business building just enough to keep gathering coaching hours so you can take your exam.

This will be revealed as you explore the Genius Wheelhouse assessment and Soul Strategy Vision Course during the Onboarding Process.

If you are planning to build a business, you will design with your mentor coach how you want to use the EVOLVE Your Coaching Business Course to begin crafting your coaching business

You will be given access to the Coach with Confidence Course to enhance your coach training with some practical tools This course will be used in tandem with your training to give you all you need to be confident as a coach

On this pathway, you will be guided to grow confident in your coaching mastery and to choose the business-building pieces that will have you on solid ground when your training ends

2. Startup Stage

Entering at this stage means you are ready to focus on building the business that will support you to do the coaching you love.

You are in the Startup Stage.

Our Onboarding Process lays the foundation, after which you are ready to dive into the core business development course, EVOLVE Your Coaching Business The initial phase of this course will help you identify your niche and marketing message, the core components of a successful business

You will research to discover what your ideal clients need, then create simple marketing statements that convey what you offer, and experiment to make sure you have a viable niche

Then you move forward to create your marketing message

You will craft a compelling message to connect you with those you most want to serve You’ll bring your personality and passions forward with your own life experiences and wisdom

You will also build the necessary systems and structures to run the business, create a working business plan, and inhabit a positive marketing mindset

If you find you need support integrating what you learned in your coach training, or if you would like to test the waters with a simple workshop, you can dip into the Coach with Confidence Course. You may continue to dip into it as you progress through your business building.

As you move forward in the course, you’ll create your business offerings, price them well, and begin marketing your business. It’s important to choose the marketing activities you most enjoyones that bring forward your strengths.

You may also choose some fun ways to market that will add to your reach

You will learn how to make successful consultation calls that convert to sales, identify your business model and learn how to keep your business alive

You will identify and implement new habits so the marketing you have begun will be consistent and bring you the leads you need to grow your income

Once your feet are on solid ground, you may want to add group coaching into your business model. You will then begin the Group Coaching Mastery Course so you can include this offering in your marketing and grow your business with both individual and group coaching offerings.

Finally, you will bring all your learning together to create a marketing strategy chart that organizes the marketing activities that are bringing you new business. You will solidify your habits to ensure you stay on track with what you most want to accomplish.

You will end the Startup stage with a business model and activities that sit on a solid foundation It will bring you joy and has the capacity to evolve for many, many years

3. Sustainable Success Stage

You may be entering our program with a coaching business that is already in the Sustainable Success stage, and you are ready to evolve in a new direction You may have reached a point where you realize your business is not fulfilling in its current form, and you need to pivot

Maybe you have identified necessary foundational pieces that are missing, and you want to put them in It may be that you are inspired to set out in a whole new direction and you need support to do that

You will identify in the Soul Strategy Vision Course what you want to create now in your business You will begin with the EVOLVE Your Coaching Business Course very similar to someone who is in Startup as you are most likely needing to hone your niche and craft a compelling message to market your business

Your coach will help you identify what is most important to cover in the course and which lessons are not needed as you already have them established.

You will upgrade your brand, how you market, and to whom. You will let go of what you know doesn’t work for you so you can now go full out to have your business be exactly what you want

If you want to add group coaching into your business, you will take the Group Coaching Mastery Course after you have landed on your niche and message

It may have been a while since you had your coach training, or it may be you are interested in adding to your coaching tool kit If that is the case, you will want to dip into the Coach with Confidence Course This course offers exercises and ideas on how to use coaching tools to enhance your coaching

Most of the lessons and steps in the EVOLVE Your Coaching Business Course are intended to be utilized by coaches at any stage, so you will be surprised by how much you learn and can shift into a higher level of success even when you are learning things you already know!

4. Legacy Stage

Entering here means you have ongoing success as a coach and want to scale your business as a standalone legacy with online courses, inspirational entertainment or other ways to utilize your own intellectual property

You will identify this in the Soul Strategy Vision Course, and that will give you a solid foundation to use in the program

Depending on the changes you want to make in your business, you will utilize the EVOLVE Your Coaching Business Course to get started Your coach will help you identify the most important lessons and steps you will be taking to make this new dream a reality

Once you have established the niche and message of this new phase of your business you may want to add group coaching or upgrade a current group offering

The Group Coaching Mastery Course will help you bring group coaching to the new iteration of your business. You will walk away with a new lease on your business life and a refreshed connection to your passion for bringing coaching to the world.
