A TERRIFIC PLACE TO CREATE TERRIFIC PLACES

With an average tenure of 15 years, the East West Partners team has a broad base of skills, experiences and talents. And it’s no exaggeration—we consider each other family. We work hard to foster a culture wherein everyone feels welcomed, empowered to succeed and supported—not only in their day-to-day work, but also in their larger career ambitions. We think this approach makes us a great company to work with, and for. But don’t take it from us. The Denver Post graciously awarded East West Partners the No. 1 spot on its 2019 Top Workplaces list. And we made Outside Magazine’s national ranking of the top 50 places to work in 2019. After all, we try not to toot our own horn; but if someone else does, that’s totally OK with us.

East West Partners has developed some of the world’s top resort and urban communities, hotels and office buildings. Along the way, we’ve earned a reputation for innovation and design, from the famed escalators of Beaver Creek to the iconic train canopy at Denver’s Union Station. We are one of only three companies worldwide to have won three Urban Land Institute Awards for Excellence. And we pride ourselves on pushing our industry forward while continuing to offer world-class services to our partners and customers.

East West Partners exists to create terrific places that bring people together, sharing meaningful experiences. We develop new communities, and improve existing ones, in ways that add lasting value. We aim to amplify what people love most about where they live, work and vacation. And we strive to be known as trusted partners and one of the industry’s best places to build a career.

On each project, we start by understanding the market and its consumers so we can design strategically for their end use. We collaborate with local officials and handpick partners who share our values. Our reputation for honesty and accountability allows us to pursue and structure financing, with a focus on value creation. And we always sweat the small stuff, especially the quality of our relationships and products, so we can execute successful projects that wholeheartedly deliver on our vision and the visions of our partners.

Workouts happen when a property has fallen into distress, whether because of economic, financial or other issues with the original developer. East West Partners is uniquely positioned to tackle these challenging projects, thanks to our full arsenal of development disciplines. We are deeply committed to achieving successful outcomes for both our investment partners and community end users. On turnarounds, we step in and analyze the best approach for addressing the issues plaguing the project, from lack of funding to construction defects, owner relationships, public perception and more. Then we oversee all aspects of the remaining development to revitalize the project and deliver successfully on or above everyone’s expectations.

MASTER PLANS

It is no coincidence that our two most prominent master-planned developments, Denver’s Union Station Neighborhood and Beaver Creek Resort, have been awarded the ULI Award for Excellence. We believe it’s a result of our extensive in-house capabilities, our ability to successfully deliver across both public and private interests, and our passion for truly understanding the needs of the communities in which we operate. This is what gives us a unique advantage in bringing large-scale, master-planned projects to life for our clients.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT — Aura’s mass timber structure represents the next progressive step in sustainable building in Snowmass Base Village. Aura’s holistic approach to sustainability addresses both the building’s ongoing carbon footprint (what it takes to operate the building) and its embodied carbon footprint (how much carbon it takes to build Aura).

What started as a one-man show in 1962 has grown from a single office in Vail, Colorado, to become the largest brokerage in the entire Vail Valley, with sister companies in Summit County, Denver, Lake Tahoe, Snowmass, Park City, Charleston and Hawai’i. We attribute our success to our team of experienced and knowledgeable real estate professionals, whose passion for serving our buyers while commanding top dollar for our sellers is unprecedented.
