Carting at the Colonial Rottweiler Club Specialty The two Carting tests are in the books for the 2022 specialty. As a first time Chair I had a lot to learn and the amazing Jodi LaBombard was always there to answer my gazillion questions and keep me on the straight and narrow. Thank-you Jodi for being the Carting Secretary, which is way more time intensive than being the Carting Chair. And thank-you for all of the other hats you wear for our club! You are awesome! Thank-you to our Carting judge this year, Gina DeAlmeida. You did a fantastic job with the courses and were very patient and encouraging to all of the entrants. I got a lot of very nice feedback. And also thank-you Gina for bringing the giant stuffed bear! He also wore many hats at the specialty! Tammy Snyder, a huge thank-you for being the Carting scribe, steward and photographing the carting teams on the course!

Colonial Rottweiler Club: I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to judge your carting tests this year at the CRC specialty. I had an awesome time with the extremely helpful volunteers that make this trial happen. Everything ran so smoothly & efficiently, it was a pleasure! It was so nice to see all the dogs do what comes naturally for the breed (The Butcher’s Dog). There were many wonderful participants this year for the carting tests. We all had a fun day working the course with “Camp Counselor Teddy” overseeing everything as one of our distractions. Thank you to Jodi LaBombard & Julie McLain for organizing and all the preparation they did for this test. Thank you to Tammy Snyder for scribing and stewarding for both tests.
