PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Welcome to the specialty newsletter!! I hope most of you had the opportunity to make it to “Camp Rottweiler.” It was a blast as you will see by all the wonderful pictures. The weather was spectacular, except for a ‘little” rain at the agility trial. A huge “thank you” to Maureen Sullivan for chairing the show. As usual, she did a fabulous job. All went off without a hitch. Special thank you to all the committee chairs and helpers. Without you the show does not go on. Each portion of the specialty was a huge success because of all of you. I was so pleased to see how many members stepped up to help out. It didn’t go unnoticed. We held herding, agility, carting, scent work, obedience, rally, a match show and three conformation shows. That’s no small feat for any club and you all pulled it off brilliantly. I could not be more proud of all of you! THANK YOU. We held our first welcome party with the match show. Thank you to the Haldeman’s and the Barley’s for putting that together and being the grill masters. The burgers were delicious and a fun time was had by all. Lastly, I want to thank all the exhibitors who brought their beautiful, smart and talented dogs. That’s what this specialty is all about. YOU AND YOUR DOGS! I know I had a wonderful time visiting with old and new friends, showing my dogs and watching others do what they do best. I hope you did too! Now on to next year…
