Overview
Our summer camps run from June 29 to August 21st, offering 8 weeks of engaging, fun-filled programming for children ages 6–12. Pre-care and post-care are included in the day camp cost.
In addition to our regular camps, we offer specialty programs such as basketball camps and leadership opportunities for older youth, including Leaders in Training and the Camp Internship Program
Registration opens February 10 for residents and February 17 for nonresidents. You can register online, by phone, or in person. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Heroes in Training
Step into a world of courage, creativity, and high-energy fun! Heroes in Training will discover their superpowers, complete exciting missions, and work together in imaginative team challenges. Every day is packed with action, laughter, and adventure as little heroes practice bravery, kindness, and teamwork
Ages 9–12 Super Squad
Super Squad kicks off the summer by putting campers into hero teams from day one. Squads create their own identities and earn points by completing mission-style challenges that mix movement, strategy, and quick thinking. Obstacle courses, logic-based “villain” tasks, and a final squad showdown encourage leadership, communication, and smart decision-making.

Get ready to explore a world full of adventure and wonder! Safari Seekers will embark on an exciting journey through the Cranston jungle where surprises are around every corner. Campers will play thrilling games, go on adventures, and solve fun challenges that spark curiosity and creativity

Wilderness Warriors
This week is built around exploration and endurance. Using navigation games, scavenger-style quests, and cooperative outdoor challenges. Wilderness Warriors pushes groups to plan ahead, adapt, and rely on one another. Team-building activities and adventure-based missions help campers develop resilience, trust, and confidence in new situations

Rodeo Rascals
Saddle up, little cowboys and cowgirls! Rodeo Rascals will dive into a playful Wild West world full of action, excitement, and laughter. Campers will enjoy fun team games, creative challenges, and high-energy activities that capture the spirit of frontier adventure!
Ages 9–12 Rodeo Rangers
Rodeo Rangers bring friendly competition to the forefront. Inspired by the Wild West, campers face fastpaced relays, themed obstacle courses, and strategy-driven games that reward coordination and teamwork. Creative side challenges and group missions balance competition with collaboration, keeping the week energetic and fun

Astro Squad
Astro Squad is all about imagination and big ideas. Teams work through space-themed scenarios such as launch simulations, rescue missions, and design challenges. Logic puzzles and creative builds encourage campers to think critically while collaborating to complete each mission in this high-energy, innovation-focused week

Time Masters
Every day brings a new era in Time Masters. Rules, challenges, and team roles shift as campers move through past, present, and future settings. Strategy games, immersive rolebased tasks, and creative problemsolving activities require adaptability and leadership, leading to a final challenge that ties the entire week together

Leadersin Training
What is the Leadership-in-Training (LIT) Program?
The Leadership-in-Training (LIT) Program is a free one-week leadership development experience designed for youth (ages 13-15) who want to grow their confidence, communication skills, and understanding of leadership in a camp setting!
LIT participants will spend time observing camp programs and staff in action, gaining insight into how activities are planned, how groups are supported, and how leaders create a safe and inclusive environment.
This program is ideal for youth interested in learning what leadership looks like in practice and preparing for future leadership opportunities.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM- AGES 15 TO 17 2026
SummerCamp InternshipProgram
What is the Summer Camp Internship Program?
The Summer Camp Internship Program is a four-week volunteer leadership opportunity for youth (Ages 15-17) interested in gaining hands-on experience in a camp setting while building confidence, responsibility, and professional skills.
Interns are placed with a summer camp program for four consecutive weeks in July or August, working Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Participants learn how camps operate and how staff create safe, engaging experiences for children.
What do interns do?
Support daily camp routines and program operations
Assist with games, crafts, and group activities alongside staff
Learn from experienced camp leaders through mentorship and feedback
What will interns receive?
A volunteer honorarium
A reference letter and certificate
Skill development in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
Experience to include on resumes and applications
How to Apply:
We are accepting 8 interns, ages 15–17 Email a cover letter to rec@cranstonra.ca by May 1st, 2026. Selected applicants will be invited to a brief get to know you interview as they move through our recruiting process.
Applicants must be available for the entire four-week placement and should indicate their preferred month (July or August) in their letter.
Camp Cancellation Policy
Refunds and cancellations can be requested up to two weeks before the camp start date and are subject to a $20 non-refundable administration fee. All requests must be submitted in writing to camps@cranstonra.ca.
Refunds for cancellations made within two weeks of the camp start date will not be issued, unless due to medical reasons with supporting documentation
