Maker’s Market Craigmillar Now

Come along to Craigmillar Now’s arts centre to browse and buy handmade pottery, bath bombs, jewellery and more - all created by local makers. There will also be a pop-up cafe with coffee by local roaster Redbox and delicious food prepared by local chefs.

Exploring Nature Using Art Craigmillar Community Grows

Craigmillar Now Art Map

Greater Craigmillar is home to some fascinating public artworks.This new Art Map, created by Craigmillar Now and Out of the Blueprint, aims to bring greater attention to the local collection, reaching from Jake Harvey’s Mining Sculpture at Newcraighall to Helen Crummy’s statue outside of Craigmillar Library.

Nine artworks feature in the new map, each one accompanied by an oral history, which can be listened to on site or remotely via a phone number or QR code.

Maps will be posted directly to local households at the end of August or can be picked up at Craigmillar Now.
