Good Evening Reds! Another cup game, another win…just! Credit has to be given to Canton Liberal who put up a good fight. We knew it wasn ’t going to be an easy game at all, knowing that they had beaten Penybont during pre-season and it certainly wasn ’t easy! We started poorly conceding early however were very dominant following their goal and had enough chances to win the game without the need for penalties. I have to say, it was nice to win a game on penalties this time around!

We know that the performance wasn ’t up to our recent high standard however the most important part was to ensure that we progressed to the next round and now look forward to an away day at Cefn Druids and hope that some of you can also come along to support us. We have now turned our focus onto our next opponents and know that Barry Town will be another difficult opponent having only recently been relegated. We had a good training session in the week and all know that we are in for a battle but the lads are buzzing for it. Thanks again for your support and hopefully with your support, we will progress to the next round! Diolch, Joe.

A GOOD START TO THE SEASON, HOW HAS THE PLAYING STYLE INTRODUCED BY THE MANAGER HELPED YOU BE PROLIFIC IN THIS SIDE?
I think at the moment we are just being hard to beat. A lot of us have played with eachother at Goytre so we know our strengths. The leagues so tough so I think we got to be adaptable to how we play otherwise we will get caught out. I think also the boys know what Johno expects now and anything less, we will know about it!

WHATS DIFFERENT AT LLANELLI AND UNDER JOHNO NOW COMPARED TO PREVIOUS TIMES?
I don 't think too much has changed. Johno and Dylan had built a really good team at Goytre that was hard to beat with a good squad and that' s starting to be shown here. From playing in both sides it' s clear to see how tight the squad is and I think that' s massive when you want to do well.

As a striker it' s what you get measured on so the more the better. It' s an easy drive home when you scored a goal but as long as we keep winning that' s the main thing. It would be great to hit the 20 mark!
Would love a cup run and think we got a good enough team to do so. It' s nice to play a different team and it' s a nice ground up there so should be a good away day! From the last round you can see anyone can beat anyone so we fancy ourselves to give it a go!
SIX GOALS ALREADY THIS SEASON, DO YOU HAVE AN EYE ON A TALLY YOU WANT TO REACH?
AN AWAY TRIP TO CEFN DRUIDS IN THE CUP, DO YOU FANCY A GOOD CUP RUN?
