Very tough as expected, Canton managed the game brilliantly, they got the early goal and credit to them they were difficult to break down and dangerous from set pieces and on the counter attack. In saying that, we did create a few chances but we didn 't work their keeper anywhere near enough over 90 minutes. Then it' s a lottery with penalties as we know, Thankfully we were able to scrape through.

Obviously we would have liked a home draw but this is a great chance to test ourselves against a team who have just got relegated from the Cymru Premier and a nice opportunity for the players to enjoy a North Wales trip together, I' ve done a few in my time but I can 't remember the trip home on most of them haha!

Keeping a full squad fit and available. Against Canton we had five players unavailable who have started regularly this season. That' s near half of the team. To compete in all competitions we need everyone available on a constant basis. That' s why teams like Barry will be right up there come end of the season. Ambitious players who want to achieve have to be professional, driven and look after themselves.

Its A big game 1/4 final of the cup. I' m not thinking of the league game next week and neither should our players. We ' ve got a job to do on Friday we will definitely start as the under dogs but let' s give it our best shot with no excuses! I'd love to win a trophy with this group of players and supporters.

Dylan has been with me for six seasons now he ' s brilliant, methodical, detailed and calm in his approach. Reeso has got the old school mentality he gets the lads respecting eachother and working hard. He brings the best out of the team collectively and I oversee it all making the key decisions with their support and feedback. It' s a nice balance and works well. Long may it continue!.
