Senior Creative Designer Incentive Plus & Speechmark Publishing Part of Electric Word Group plc, Milton Keynes December 2007 - April 2011 Incentive Plus and Speechmark publishers of educational resources to promote social, emotional and behavioural skills in adults, teenagers and young children. As Senior Creative Designer I covered all aspects of design from conceptual brainstorming through to design and print production. Senior Designer bda (Buckingham Design Associates) Buckingham February 2003 - December 2007 Worked for bda a creative design agency in Buckingham which is part of the Buckingham Colour Quest Group. Bda’s client base includes Siemens, Toyota Finance, KTM, Countrywide and Cranfield University. I managed various client accounts at bda which included Kumho Tyres (UK) Ltd, Firestone Industrial Products, eismann, Fresh Ideas and Action Storage Online. I had a strong working relationship with these clients helping them with marketing solutions, advertising and brand management.

brand management Senior Designer bda (Buckingham Design Associates) Buckingham February 2003 - December 2007 Kumho Tyres changed their corporate ID, which was a massive undertaking as they are a Korean based company with offices worldwide. Together with Kumho’s UK Marketing Director I was entrusted with the organising of the UK change which involved new stationery, advertising, race car decals, pit lane design, trackside hoardings, clothes and exhibitions. They are now a major sponsor of Manchester United Football Club.

employment history Production Designer Gecko Ltd, Bicester, June 2002 - January 2003 Gecko designed schoolbooks for Educational Publishers, including Letts and Oxford University Press. Production Designer involved creative page layout of books and catalogues either single or series titles, seeing them through to their successful completion. Taking briefs from Gecko’s concept designers, client handlers and clients I managed various layout projects simultaneously. Visiting the client throughout the process to ensure smooth production.
Production Executive Thomson Holidays, London, December 2000 - May 2002 I worked for Thomson in their publishing department at head office in London. Within a small team I helped in the design and layout of various holiday brochures of which Portland Direct was my main brochure. Worked alongside their repro house in Leicester ensuring copy and images were correct before travelling to Milan, Italy to press-pass and oversee binding.

Design/Production Manager Trade Publications Ltd, Wantage, February 1999 - November 2000 Trade Publications publish full colour glossy trade magazines for the food and events sector. I covered a range of duties which included; design and layout of magazine pages, liaising with advertisers in order to produce advertorials and adverts, writing editorial features and news stories. Managed the production of five monthly and bi-monthly magazines from flat plan through to print.
