BLEEDING COMPLICATIONS Intra-abdominal bleeding caused by thrombolysis in patients with cardiac arrest

SORE CHEST Repeatedly pushing firmly on the chest can result in sore chest in patients

BROKEN RIBS The force of chest compressions can likely lead to break ribs of the victim.

COLLAPSED LUNG There is a small risk of a pneumothorax or collapsed lungs, occurring during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

BREATHING ISSUE Giving too many CPR rescue breaths can cause breathing issue or difficualty in the patients.

BRAIN DAMAGE Since CPR leaves the brain receiving 5% less oxygen than normal, brain damage is possible.

ASPIRATION PNEUMONIA The result of vomit and foreign objects being inhaled into the lungs can lead to aspiration pneumonia
