CORPORATE LEADERSHIP AWARD DINNER 2023 1
Presenting the CPR Corporate Leadership Award to
Welcome Dinner Attendees Letter from the President
Welcome to the 2023 Corporate Leadership Award Dinner, honoring Visa’s Kelly Mahon Tullier, Vice Chair, Chief of People and Corporate Affairs Officer and Julie Rottenberg, Executive Vice President and General Counsel.
We are thrilled to be here together to celebrate their tremendous work and leadership in dispute prevention and resolution.
Established in 1977, the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) is an independent non-profit organization that strives to help others manage conflict so that they might better pursue their chosen purpose.
Funds raised at this annual event sustain our important initiatives and programs. These initiatives include efforts to shift the mindset toward taking affirmative steps when entering into a business relationship to counter inevitable conflicts from turning into disputes, as well as engaging all available talent to resolve conflict through greater diversity and inclusion amongst neutrals selected to mediate and arbitrate.
In our rapidly changing world filled with seemingly unending and overwhelming conflict, the thought-leadership and innovation we harness within CPR is meaningful across industries, regions, and cultures. Indeed, it seems that the companies that embrace our concepts, such as Visa, tend to be highly successful because they are not as distracted by the costs – financial and otherwise – that disputes often bring.
Thank you for attending our celebration tonight as we honor Visa, Julie and Kelly, and for your friendship and support. If you are not already a member, I invite you to become one today.
Membership is a deeply rewarding opportunity to contribute to the newest ideas in conflict prevention and resolution. You and your team will connect with leaders - both in-house counsel and law firm counsel - that share your interest in resolving conflicts in new ways and in preventing disputes before they harden into conflicts.
Join the CPR community to build bridges across industries and expand your professional reach.
Enjoy the evening,
Allen P. Waxman President & CEO International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR)
