Women’s Basketball captured both the CCAA and NCAA West Region titles, while advancing to the NCAA Elite Eight for the first time since 2002 Baseball reached the NCAA post season for the first time in seventeen years under the leadership of first-year coach, Randy Betten Baseball’s Travis Taijeron was signed by the New York Mets Women’s Cross Country placed 19th at the NCAA Division II National Championships, after advancing to that stage for just the second time in program history. Men’s Cross Country placed 2nd at the CCAA Championships while achieve a National Top 25 Ranking Track and Field had 4 individuals earn National Championship qualifications in 100-meter & 400-meter hurdles, long jump, and javelin Men’s basketball challenged Duke in an exhibition game on Nov. 4 and only trailed the Division I defending champion by six points at halftime Men’s Soccer Justin Valashinas was signed by professional soccer team, Los Angeles Blues Women’s Soccer Stephanie Sandino and Britany Garrett both signed with the Colorado Force, a women’s soccer program for the United Soccer Leagues Volleyball’s freshman setter, Katie Colin finished her inaugural season in the All-CCAA top 5 for total assists

Representing CPP’s 10 intercollegiate teams, the Broncos combined for a 3.03 grade point average during the fall 2011 quarter. 102 of the 181 (56%) student-athletes earned grade point averages of 3.0 or higher in the winter of 2011. As of Winter 2011, 91 of 181 student-athletes earned recognition on the Dean’s List with GPAs of 3.5 or higher Currently, 6 of our 10 teams have a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher
