GOOD TO SEE INTERMAT BACK

To use the old saying about the 1960s, if you remember INTERMAT 2021, you were probably weren’t there. In fact, none of us will as the Paris leg of the big three construction machinery shows got caught up in the Covid crisis.

INTERMAT has always held a special place in my heart, partly because of the city it’s in(ish) and the fact that it’s always a great chance to see innovation, networking, and industry insight, particularly for those of us who make the trip from the Middle East.

INTERMAT has historically stood as a key international exhibition, showcasing the latest in construction machinery, equipment, and technology. For buyers and industry professionals from the Middle East, this past event was not just an opportunity to view new products but a strategic platform for engaging with global trends and forging important international connections.

While INTERMAT is a significant event in its own right, comparing it with giants like ConExpo and Bauma offers additional insights. Unlike ConExpo, which is heavily centered on the American market, Intermat provides a more global perspective that is crucial for our diverse and internationally linked region. Compared to Bauma, which is the largest construction machinery trade fair in the world, Intermat tends to be more accessible with a focus on innovative technologies that are immediately applicable, making it highly relevant for our buyers who seek practical and innovative solutions. The show has always allowed Middle East buyers to engage directly with innovators and thought leaders from around the world. This global interaction is crucial, as it opens

doors to new partnerships and collaborative opportunities that can be tailored to our unique regional needs.

Reflecting on the event, the advancements displayed at Intermat were particularly relevant to our needs in the Middle East, where urban development and infrastructure are in constant demand for the latest technologies. The exhibition was rife with cutting-edge solutions, from autonomous and remote-controlled machinery to the latest in sustainable construction practices— each promising enhanced efficiency and safety for future projects.

Reflecting on the exhibition, it’s clear that for many from our region, Intermat is not just about current trends but also scouting future investments. With economic diversification efforts intensifying across the Middle East, the strategic insights gained into machinery and technology investments are invaluable.

As I look back at Intermat, it’s evident that the event was more than just a showcase; it was a profound learning and networking experience that has a lasting impact on our strategies and operations. It serves not only as a reflection of where the construction industry is headed but also as a guidepost for our continued growth and adaptation. It was great to have it back.

Johnson Arabia expands its rental fleet NEWS

NEW MACHINES, NEW OFFICES, NEW PROJECTS, NEW INITIATIVES – WE LOOK AROUND THE REGION AT WHAT’S NEW THIS MONTH

RAIMONDI APPOINTS NEW GM Raimondi Cranes has appointed Wael Hasan as General Manager, Raimondi Middle East. Based in Dubai, UAE, Hasan will report directly to Raimondi Group CEO, Luigi Maggioni and aims to fortify Raimondi’s presence in the GCC by enhancing its operational structure.

OPERATORS FARNEK EXPANDS OPERATIONS IN UAE

Farnek the leading UAE-based smart and green facilities management (FM) company has expanded its business operations throughout the emirate of Abu Dhabi following a raft of new and retained FM contracts across various industry sectors.

To cope with the increased workload, the number of employees based in Abu Dhabi has grown by 18% to nearly 1,300 staff and Farnek is also currently looking at an additional satellite office to provide enhanced onsite customer service.

Farnek’s Abu Dhabi logistics team has also managed to optimise their transport fleet by employing larger vehicles and opitimising route management, saving time, fuel and money as well as minimising its carbon footprint.

Johnson Arabia introduces fuelefficient and manoeuvrable Grove GMK5250XL to rental fleet

Johnson Arabia recently added a new Grove GMK5250XL to its fleet. This mobile crane is said to have one of the longest booms on five axles and excellent manoeuvrability.

According to Johnson Arabia, these features make it “a fantastic choice” for oil & gas and urban development projects.

In addition to this, as the UAE moves into more sustainable solutions, Johnson Arabia says the Grove GMK 520XL allows contractors to include its equipment as part of their own sustainability endeavours as the

single engine of this crane enables 30% lower diesel consumption compared to its older counterparts.

The lower fuel consumption also contributes to reduced maintenance and operational costs.

Finally, the mobile crane enables heavy lifts even when utilising asymmetric outrigger positioning because of its variable outrigger positioning system.

“This is a very useful feature when there are load or access restrictions on certain sites or if positioning is tricky. Along with the expert engineers at Johnson Arabia and the new Grove achieving any lift is possible,” said the firm in a statement to CMME

“Having served as Raimondi’s Commercial Director for the past seven years, Wael brings a wealth of experience and expertise. With his exceptional leadership skills and hands-on team guidance, a keen understanding of market dynamics, and strong relationships, Wael has played a pivotal role in developing one of Raimondi’s key markets,” said Maggioni.

Abu Dhabi has recorded strong economic growth in the wake of the pandemic. According to the Statistics Centre of Abu Dhabi, the emirate’s economy grew by 9.3% annually in 2022, the highest in the MENA region, with GDP currently standing at $300 billion. This robust economic growth had a notable effect on foreign investment, which increased by 9.7% in 2022, valued at in excess of $226 billion.

“This is especially true within the non-oil sectors, which now contribute more than 52% of the emirate’s GDP. Credit rating agency S&P has forecast that Abu Dhabi’s GDP will grow by an impressive 5.3% this year, which bodes well for our business operations in 2024,” said Markus Oberlin, CEO, Farnek.

Some of the more notable contract wins, valued at over AED 240 million, include a total FM deployment for Mina Zayed which is an emerging innovation-focused neighbourhood. Other contracts include Etihad Airways Engineering, and the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.

Mammoet’s largest crane to tackle Rotterdam project

One of the largest cranes in the world, the Mammoet PTC210DS, will shortly undertake the lift of a huge A-Frame for the Van Oord-owned heavy lift installation vessel, Svanen. The colossal 210,000tm, 3,200t class crane was chosen as it is one of the few cranes in the world capable of performing the job, and was available locally. As offshore wind turbines grow to achieve greater efficiency, so too are their components. The upgrade to the larger A-Frame will

enable the Svanen to install new generation monopile foundations at sea. The frame is made up of three main components, which were fabricated by Holland Shipyards and were moved, lifted and transported by Mammoet to its quayside headquarters in Schiedam, The Netherlands. There, the different components of the A-frame will be assembled and then driven 66 meters along the waterfront using 64 axle lines of Mammoet Self-Propelled Modular

Transporters (SPMTs), ready for the PTC to perform the lift. The completed A-Frame will increase the total height of the Svanen to 125 meters. The configuration of the PTC to perform the lift will be 105 meters of main boom and 66 meters of luffing jib, with more than 4,000 tonnes of counterweight in use.

Installation of the frame will take just one week during April and May. The efficiency of the project is due to the crane’s availability in Rotterdam and the fact that the A-Frame can be lifted as a single unit.

Julian Alkemade, Project Manager at Mammoet, said: “These two unique pieces of equipment are in the same place at the same time. The lift capabilities and location of the PTC will greatly mitigate downtime for the vessel. Normally, such a project could take a year or so to plan, but here it has only taken a few months due to the crane’s availability and its unique capabilities as one of the world’s largest”.

MYCRANE, the first global platform for online crane rental, is responding to the rapid digital transformation of the Middle East by strengthening its team in the region, with a focus on the booming Saudi market.

Syed Ahmed Salman has been appointed as VP sales, Middle East, while Syed Zulnoon Bukhari joins as director business development, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Based in Saudi, the two new hires bring decades of experience to MYCRANE.

“We made a strategic decision to invest in KSA, where the construction market was worth $148.3 billion in 2023 and is expected to record strong growth in the coming years,” said Andrei Geikalo, MYCRANE founder and CEO. “The appointment of Salman and Bukhari allows us to go further and faster in the Kingdom, where we see major construction activity in all sectors and almost unlimited potential to grow the platform.”

AL MASAOOD AND DONGFENG PARTNERSHIPLAUNCH IN UAE

The partnership with one of China’s premier automotive manufacturers and most successful commercial vehicles brand marks a significant expansion in Al Masaood’s portfolio, introducing a comprehensive range of Dongfeng’s commercial vehicles, including heavy, light, and medium- duty trucks, to the UAE’s market. The partnership was announced at the Dubai Autodrome and extends to the exclusive distributorship of Dongfeng’s DFAC (Dongfeng Automobiles Company Ltd.) and cements Al Masaood’s position as one of the leading distributors of light duty trucks, vans and pick ups in the UAE.

Wolf Lubricants expands off-road range

Wolf Lubricants is continuing its expansion in the Heavy-Duty Off-Road segment by launching Wolf CORS (Complete OffRoad Solution), a concept of five products that addresses all the challenges that operators and machines face today.

A fully functional fleet is vital to the success of an enterprise, and advanced fluid management is key to achieving this. Wolf has designed its CORS concept cutting-edge lubricants to give fleet owners and operators the best solution to enhance productivity, improve uptime and reduce overall costs. With a meticulous product selection, CORS easily manages challenges like severe loading, extended idling, low-quality fuel, prolonged drain intervals, and severe climatic conditions.

Within the concept, Wolf presents two new products: CORS 10W-30 FE and CORS 15W40. These are multi-functional

fluids covering all applications for construction, agriculture and mining machines: engines, hydraulic systems, manual and powershift transmissions, gears, axles and brake systems. “In a nutshell, one lubricant for all

components” says Elvic Mottelay, Global Heavy Duty Sales Manager. Precisely formulated for versatility and quality in markets with cold to moderate climates, CORS 10W-30 FE offers a highperformance ACEA E11 / API CK-4 formulation guaranteeing outstanding fuel savings in low-emission diesel engines with and without particulate filter. In addition to its broad usability, CORS 10W-30 FE has strong anti-wear properties and oxidation stability. It also provides near-instant lubrication and protection at low temperatures. Wolf has also tailored a product specific to those markets where warm climates or fuel quality can be insidious for fleet owners. Under these conditions, it is highly recommended to use high viscosity lubricants that preserve their characteristics and ensure wear protection. Thanks to its high Total Base Number (TBN),

CORS 15W-40 is well-suited for markets with lower-quality fuels with high sulfur content. It offers improved efficiency and is compatible with diesel engines without particulate filters: Euro II, Euro III, and some Euro IV engines. These new innovations, together with 4 additional products that are part of the CORS concept, allow fleet owners and operators to cover 90% of their market needs with only 5 Wolf products.

Johan Van Hove, Senior Technical Training Manager, commented:

“Wolf’s commitment to innovation and technological advancement has led us to a revolutionary approach in the Heavy-Duty Off-Road sector. With the launch of our Complete Off-Road Solution (CORS) concept, we are shifting the lubricant technology landscape. The development of this compact range has been a meticulous process, guided by our in-house R&D teams.”

Caterpillar has launched its near real-time asset and jobsite data system VisionLink Productivity for machines in the Middle East and Africa. The sytems helps measure, monitor and manage assets to maximise productivity and allows for increased profitability through increased efficiencies and lower operating costs.

Available for Cat PM620, PM622, PM820, PM822 and PM825 Cold Planers, VisionLink Productivity gathers, analyses and summarizes detailed data such as time spent waiting for trucks, cutting and travel at the jobsite as well as distance cut, fuel burn, location and cycle mapping. SINOBOOM LAUNCHES ITS NEW SUBSIDIARY IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Sinoboom, the prominent Chinese manufacturer of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), officially expanded its international footprint by launching a new subsidiary in the Middle East last month.

A strategic move, it aims to cater to the growing demand for high-quality, reliable MEWPs in the region. The official launch event featured speeches from key figures within the company, shedding light on their ambitious plans and commitment to the Middle Eastern market.

The grand opening ceremony was held in April, formally introducing the new Sinoboom Middle East subsidiary in Dubai with leading key accounts and representatives of regional mainstream industry associations and media invited to join the new local team and senior Sinoboom personnel at the event.

The manufacturer said the official marked the opening of a new chapter for Sinoboom in the Middle East market. The opening of a Middle East subsidiary represents a substantial investment by Sinoboom at a facility that is designed to meet the needs of a well-developed market where high standards – in both product quality and service – are expected. The premises include a modern office, workshop and

warehouse, which houses a large range of stock including scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts and vertical mast lifts, supplemented by a wide parts inventory. The Sinoboom Middle East team is based at the facility, providing full preand after-sales support to local customers.

At the opening ceremony, the guests were given the opportunity to see the line-up of Sinoboom equipment for themselves.

During the ceremony, Sinoboom CEO and founder, Susan Xu, delivered a passionate speech, stressing the highend quality on the current range, as well its smart features, she spoke warmly about the establishment of the Middle East subsidiary and how it will be of great significance to Sinoboom’s complete global layout.

“Our plan and our strategy is really very simple: we want to provide our customers with a world-class service at a local level. That means service, support, spare parts and, of course, high-quality, well-designed platforms,” she remarked.

Xu expressed profound excitement and pride during her address, highlighting the company’s growth and the strategic importance of the new subsidiary. “It would be a dream that I would be standing here today in the UAE,” Xu remarked.

She also emphasised the global team’s readiness to support the launch, signaling a significant milestone in Sinoboom’s development.

“Today in China more than 70% of all electric vehicles purchased are electric powered. Electrical power may not be right for you today, but it will be in the future”

13
The manufacturer said the official marked the opening of a new chapter for Sinoboom in the Middle East market.

At the same time, she also gave a detailed introduction of Sinoboom’s used equipment remanufacturing services and green product development concepts that are suitable for the market.

Xu also noted the company’s innovative edge, particularly in the adoption of electric power technologies, reflecting on the future of electric vehicles and equipment in China.

“Today in China more than 70% of all electric vehicles purchased are electric powered. Electrical power may not be right for you today, but it will be in the future,” Xu stated, urging attendees to consider the advanced MEWPs showcased at the events.

Following Susan Xu’s speech, Dawei He, Global Sales and Marketing Director, and Andy McPhail, Regional Head of MENA and India, shared the future development plan of the subsidiary.

He also stressed Sinoboom’s commitment to innovative, quality products will be complemented by full use of local resources , knowledge and talent, with the ultimate goal of value creation and mutually beneficial results for local partners and customers..

“Our strategy is very simple. Establish long-term partnerships, supply highquality news at competitive prices, and provide regional support,” McPhail emphasised, revealing plans for future expansion, including a potential new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia.

shared insights into the reasons behind establishing a presence in the Middle East and North Africa. He revisited the company’s successful history in the region, having delivered over 800 units, particularly in Saudi Arabia, and highlighted key projects and clients like Saudi Aramco and Riyadh Airport.

“Some of the big-name clients and projects in the region are trusting us with our equipment,” McPhail stated, outlining

the opening ceremony, the guests closely observed and experienced Sinoboom equipment, and expressed high recognition of their high-end quality and intelligence.

Sinoboom plans to implement, including a network of strategic partners and dealers across the GCC. “Some of the prestigious projects we have worked on are Saudi Aramco, the Jazan refinery… We’ve worked on Riyadh Airport for the King Khaled Royal Terminal, King Abdullah’s Economic City, and many more.

“Some of our end-user clients are, again, Saudi Aramco’s mobile refinery company, who use our machines for facilities management and maintenance and cleaning. Saudi’s Ministry of Defence in the Navy Department too for their facilities management needs. We’ve also sold into the Oman Ministry of Defence, into their army branch. SDC, the Saudi Electric Company, again, facilities management, cleaning, etc. AGI Heavy Equipment have added some machines into their fleet. And more recently, AAMA over in Libya for a large construction project they’re working on over there.

“This should give you a good feel of some of the big name clients and projects in the region are trusting us with our equipment. Because we know we can support them, we do respond to what they’re requesting and we’re not adverse to investing to make sure we deliver on our promises. At Sinoboom Middle East, we’re supported at the top there by Sinoboom HQ in China. And that filters down obviously to ourselves here. We will be establishing a dealer network. We’ll be dealing directly with the key accounts here in this room today.”

The stable performance, high-end quality, localised marketing and aftermarket service support of Sinoboom’s products have also strengthened customers’ confidence in cooperation with Sinoboom, he said.

“You will always be directly with us and supporting you. You will always come through us and we’ll be supported by the dealer network and obviously our colleagues in the new regional base,” he remarked, adding that: “And there

are financing options that we can offer to our clients here in the region. So the strategy I said at the start is very simple. Establish long-term partnerships with the key accounts yourselves in this room.

“Not just in the short term but the longterm too. We want to build long-lasting, decades-long, relays of support for each and every one of you. We want to supply high quality at competitive prices. Provide regional support throughout the region. We all know it’s dead easy to sell or buy

new but the most difficult bit, and what sets us apart, will be the support that we offer you should you need any technical support in part or training.”

“We will be establishing a dealer network. We’ll be dealing directly as key accounts here in this room today”

“As for the development and network of strategic partners across the GCC, we currently have one in Saudi, but we are actively looking for additional partners in other GCC countries and perhaps over in Africa as well. And, ultimately, as we grow, we will open up another subsidiary based in Saudi Arabia. It is a large market. We’ve come here to the UAE because it’s easier to open a business and get it off the ground quicker. But the larger market in Saudi is very attractive.”

McPhail said that Sinoboom is determined to prove that its rental and contractor clients will have more time and less downtime.

“Our aftermarket strategy for the Middle East starts within 24 hours. Through the stock parts that we will have in the warehouse in the safe zone, but also cooperate with the TVH and our dealer partners,” he said. “Our service coverage is to have all the customers covered, again through the dealers, through ourselves, and our service team throughout in China as well, within 24 hours. That’s a really bold statement to be able to say we will respond to your request within 24 hours.”

He continued: “The basic warranty is for two years or 4,000 hours, with the main structure components covered for five years, and the engine two years, lithium batteries five years. So you’ve got peace of mind in the quality and the backup and the warranties for our products to keep your machines running.”

The launch of Sinoboom’s Middle Eastern subsidiary marks a significant step in the company’s global strategy, reinforcing its commitment to delivering exceptional value and service to its customers worldwide. With a robust support network and a focus on highquality products, Sinoboom is poised to make a substantial impact on the MEWP market in the Middle East and beyond.

Tim Whiteman, Global Branding Director, Business Development, Sinoboom, shared updates on Sinoboom’s global operations, including the construction of new facilities in Leon, Mexico, and Kainan, China, as well as the upcoming launch of a subsidiary in Brazil. “We are really moving class and it’s exciting to be part of this company,” Whiteman enthused, underlining the private company’s strong focus on meeting customer demands and achieving commercial success.

TO THE RESCUE

AL MARWAN DETAILS HOW IT RESPONDED TO THE WORST FLOOD IN THE UAE FOR 75 YEARS

On April 15th, the UAE experienced heavy rainfall, with a record-breaking storm that lasted till April 20th. The Al Shuwaib Weather Station recorded 287.6mm of rain, leading to higher than usual water accumulation in some areas.

All this presented challenges across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and the northern emirates.

In Dubai alone, over 142mm (5.59 inches) of rain was recorded at Dubai International Airport in a single day, greatly exceeding the average annual rainfall of about 94.7mm (3.73 inches). The intense downpour led to significant disruptions, particularly at Dubai International Airport, which had to halt operations temporarily due to waterlogged runways

and limited accessibility for airport crews and passengers. As cities across the nation, including Dubai and Sharjah, were inundated with recordbreaking rainfall, resulting in widespread and severe flooding. This unprecedented event has been described as the heaviest rainfall in UAE’s recorded history, with more than a year’s worth of rain falling in just a few hours.

The impact of the storm was felt across various aspects of life in the UAE. Roads were submerged under water, vehicles were abandoned, and public transportation networks were disrupted. This situation forced many residents to work from home and prompted the closure of schools. Additionally, several social and business events were either postponed or cancelled.

Authorities responded by deploying emergency services to manage the crisis, including police and emergency personnel who worked tirelessly

to ensure public safety and mitigate the damage. The UAE government has also allocated substantial funds, approximately $544.6 million, to aid in the recovery and repair of homes and infrastructure affected by the floods.

Following the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, local government agencies, including the Sharjah Municipality and Civil Defense, responded quickly to ensure public safety and manage the situation effectively. During these challenging times, Al Marwan Group joined hands with the local authorities to help facilitate the relief efforts.

Al Marwan Machinery, a subsidiary of Al Marwan Group, mobilised its resources to assist in alleviating the temporary disruptions caused by the heavy rainfall. Over 40 large water tankers and trucks, along with additional support vehicles

MACHINES IN ACTION MAY 2024

like water trailers, and off-highway trucks, were deployed to assist in the removal of accumulated water from critical areas.

“In times of challenge, it is heartening to witness the unity of our country, and at Al Marwan, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and we pledge to always stand at the forefront, ready to offer our support at all times” quoted Moataz Al Zaiem, general director of Al Marwan Machinery.

The team also utilised heavy machinery, including several wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, forklifts, and road sweepers, to help move stranded vehicles, clear debris, and expedite the drying process. A dedicated crew of 50 personnel worked tirelessly to coordinate operations across affected zones in Sharjah, focusing on key areas like Jamal Abdulnasir St.,King Faisal St.,Al Wahda Rd., Al Ittihad Rd, and Kalbaa City.

Following the initial response, Al Marwan Construct, the contracting arm of Al Marwan Group, joined the efforts to rebuild and maintain essential infrastructure.

Initially, to further reduce water levels and allow for a comprehensive assessment of infrastructure stability, 37 dewatering pumps were strategically deployed in impacted roads and neighborhoods to help clear waters that reached up to 80cm. These pumps are designed for efficient and continuous operation, ensuring thorough drying of both surface and subsurface structures.

287.6

The Al Shuwaib Weather Station recorded 287.6mm of rain on April 15th

The heavy rainfall made some streets difficult to navigate until maintenance was performed, especially on routes towards Kalba and Khor Fakkan. Al Marwan Construct responded by deploying its asphalt and roadbuilding equipment to perform repairs. A notable achievement was the rapid construction of a 1 km stretch of road near Al Batayeh, completed within 24 hours. This detour provided crucial passage for residents cut-off by the temporary flooding, and for easy access by relief vehicles to the affected areas.

The aftermath of the floods has prompted a reevaluation of the UAE’s infrastructure, with a particular focus on improving stormwater management systems to cope with such extreme weather events in the future. The main road impacted by the weather is currently undergoing reconstruction and maintenance to ensure longterm durability and safety for future use.

However, while the recent weather event presented temporary challenges, but it also highlighted the resilience of the UAE’s infrastructure and the spirit of community. Through the combined efforts of local municipalities, government entities, businesses like Al Marwan Group, Beeah, and countless volunteers, the country has made significant progress in record time towards restoring safety and normalcy to the affected areas.

TTHE INDIAN CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY BRACES ITSELF FOR THE ELECTION

he Indian construction equipment industry has been displaying remarkable growth, with a notable surge in the recent quarters. According to the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), as highlighted in a Financial Express report, the industry saw a 30 percent year-on-year increase in sales, with 36,055 units sold in Q3 FY2024. Shalabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director of CASE Construction for India and SAARC, in a discussion with Financial Express Online, shed light on various dynamics influencing this growth. Postpandemic, governments globally have leveraged infrastructure development as a strategic avenue to stimulate economic recovery. India, with its significant infrastructure deficit, has particularly benefited, experiencing a ripple effect not only in construction equipment but also across related sectors such as commercial vehicles. The interview reveals that election periods typically introduce a fluctuation in construction activity, with a noticeable dip in equipment usage during the elections, followed by a bullish recovery. This pattern is expected to repeat, although the current scenario is complicated by the impending transition to Stage 5 emission norms, effective from January 1, 2025. These norms, while predominantly

The Indian construction equipment industry saw a 30 percent yearon-year increase in sales 30%

affecting the tractor industry, will also impact the construction equipment sector, labeled CEV 5. This regulatory shift is expected to make equipment more expensive next year, which Chaturvedi suggests might prompt a surge in purchases this year as companies look to avoid higher costs. However, this could balance out the dampening effect of the election, leading to a potential stabilisation in growth rather than the usual postelection spike. He emphasises that the growth in India has been robust, ranging between 15-20% annually over the past two to three years, cumulatively nearing a 50% increase since the pandemic began. This uplift is partly due to the ongoing governmental focus on infrastructure but is also influenced by other factors like election cycles and regulatory changes. The conversation also delved into the specific implications of the new emission norms, especially for equipment over 50HP, and a new threshold that will soon include machinery in the 25-50HP range. This change is significant as nearly a third of the market's current sales come from this segment. He also touched on the rental market dynamics, where a large number of StageIII machines, sold before 2021, are still active. These older models are under pressure from newer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly machines.
