Olea, the picturesque restaurant at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi boasts mesmerising views of the Arabian Gulf, with lavish indoor and al fresco seating areas to suit. Enjoy a magical Ramadan evening featuring an extensive spread teeming with irresistible delicacies, numerous live cooking stations, seasonal favourites and inventive contemporary palate pleasers.
Alongside traditional Arabic and Mediterranean dishes, the menu traverses the globe in search of the finest flavours. From juicy Shish tawouk to platters of Italian antipasti and fresh Salt-crusted whole red snapper, served from a live station, this Olea dining experience is best savoured with loved ones. Break your fast with a diverse medley of wholesome cold mezze and fresh salads such as Fried cauliflower with tahini and crunchy Fattoush, plus hot starters including Shrimp kunafa, assorted Fatayer, Kibbeh, Falafel and Fried halloumi.
Diners are encouraged to explore the plethora of live stations for freshly baked aromatic Saj breads topped with cheese, za’atar or kishk, and live grills showcasing juicy, premium cuts of meat. Grilled prawns, Chicken shawarma, Lamb boti and Fish kebabs are also served at stations offering Prime ribeye beef and Rosemary chicken, whilst the vibrant sides of Steamed vegetables, Roasted potatoes and Creamy ricotta spinach ensure you have all the accompaniments for mains. Do try Middle Eastern favourites such as Chicken mussakhan, Ouzi and Tagines in addition to the traditional Tandoor-pit roasted lamb, prepared out on the terrace, using a special homemade recipe. Indian specialities such as Murgh makhana, Prawn curry and the foot-long Karziya kebabs are just as impressive, prepared out on the terrace on an open grill and served with vine leaves and cherry sauce.

An array of sweet indulgences, spanning everything from Arabic delicacies to home-baked French pastries will complete your meal. The live stations serving decadent, creamy homemade Arabic ice cream, and Ashta with honey and pistachio are two stunning highlights, whilst the classic Umm Ali, towering Chocolate fountain, Charcoal baked baklava and dreamy Kunafa provide further irresistible options for a sumptuous Iftar.
