DIFC’s iconic restaurant is ready to host guests this Ramadan, introducing an Iftar menu where Italian cuisine meets Middle Eastern flair. This year, diners can expect a special twist to the splendid menu. Fittingly served at Tramonto time, the Italian word for sunset, Roberto’s award-winning culinary team designed an exquisite multi-course set menu that reinvents the typical Iftar by offering a meticulous blend of familiar Arabic flavours with a nod to the culinary house’s Italian roots.
Embark on the sunset journey, set against the magnificent backdrop of the Downtown Dubai skyline, with a choice of eight appetizers including a nourishing bowl of Castelluccio lentil soup or the creamy, flavoursome Burrata with Sicilian datterini tomatoes and pomegranate molasses. Choose between the oven-baked Sea Bass al cartoccio with artichoke and pepe sauce and the Costolette d’Agnello (marinated lamb chop) accompanied with purple mashed potato. Roberto’s exceptional lineup of homemade Middle Eastern and Italian desserts makes for the ideal sweet note to this banquet.
In addition to this impressive menu, 9 Michelin-starred Chef Enrico Bartolini has composed a limited Black Clover mocktail along with Roberto’s phenomenal lead mixologist Vasile Dorofeev. Available only during the holy month, this impeccable concoction of Sea Arch coastal juniper, roasted Italian artichoke, liquorice of Calabria and bergamot is now pre-batched and wax-sealed in bottles until the grand reveal on the first day of Ramadan.
Price: AED250 per person, excluding beverages. The Black Clover is available on the first day of Ramadan for AED45 per glass.
