CommScope to promote capacity-boosting network tech

Trends that shape the transformation of networking across the Middle East will be the primary focus of CommScope’s participation at this year’s GITEX.

Aligning with Dubai’s aim to become the world’s smartest city by 2017, CommScope will be featuring their Intelligent Buildings Solutions and Indoor Solutions for large venues at the event, which allow organisations to plan, design, build and maintain their building’s communication network.

“GITEX provides CommScope with the opportunity to listen to customers and demonstrate how we’re in a better position to serve them in four major areas: indoor and outdoor wireless networks, data centre and central offices; connected and efficient buildings; and access and backhaul networks,” said Ehab Kanary, vice president of

of wideband multimode fibre (WBMMF); a capacity-boosting network technology provided by CommScope.

“WBMMF could contribute to the next generation data centres in this region, considering it fits the requirements of 100G and 400G and extends the adaptability of multimode data centres,” said Kanary. “Our number one focus this week is on customers, and during the event we will continue to help them prepare for tomorrow’s networks, by showcasing these kinds of solutions.”

A10 Networks has announced that it will showcase its A10 Harmony solution architecture, which according to the company, delivers secure application services across traditional data centres, private, public and hybrid clouds,

The vendor also noted that the new solution can help organisations become more secure, responsive and operationally agile as they bridge traditional and cloudbased application environments.
