PC-Tech Users October 19th Zoom Meeting Our October 19th meeting begins at 6:30 PM an ends at 8:00 PM. Due to ongoing renovations at the library, this will be a Zoom meeting only. The meeting will begin with an open forum. Be sure to bring any technology related questions you have to discuss with the group. We will then share any "Tips or Tricks" you would like with the group. This will be followed by a presentation on “How to Get Started with Family History.” Designed for genealogy beginners ready to explore their family history, this session will focus on how to get started. Software? Online tree? Topics include: How to begin and avoid mistakes; library resources; free genealogy online websites and resources, plus a word about using social media to save money and for help. Presented by Sue Mueller from the speakers bureau of the Association of Personal Computer Users Groups who is a retired educator with over 25 years of serious genealogy work. Program handouts with hyperlinked sites may be obtained by sending a request to cphltechusers@gmail.com. This will be a free, Zoom only meeting.
