CHAIR
Crystal Bennett Republic Services
I am excited to welcome you to the Moore Chamber of Commerce and our thriving community of Moore, Oklahoma! Going way back to 1976, I campaigned and knocked doors for my Mother’s State Senate Race. That is when I started my great love for the City of Moore. I have had the privilege to work with the City of Moore since 2013 and I cannot imagine a better community in which to raise a family or build a business. Moore offers a business community that is resilient and dedicated to making Moore one of the best in Oklahoma.
Representing Republic Services at Moore Chamber events is one of my favorite parts of my job. We are extremely blessed to have a Board of Directors and incredible staff who contribute everything they can to ensure Moore remains a suburb seeking excellence in quality of life and promoting business.
While Moore is well known for attracting national brands, we also pride ourselves on championing small
and locally-owned businesses. We hope to see all business owners thrive in Moore and South OKC, and we offer countless opportunities to make that happen.
I encourage you to check the Chamber’s events calendar often and find a way to get engaged. That’s where the magic happens! From networking and advocacy to skills development, fundraising and more, we have a place for you to plug in and get started on your journey with the Moore Chamber. My personal favorite programs are the Chamber Lunches, allowing people to network and visit with our City leaders and the Women’s Impact Group — let’s grab coffee and I’ll tell you all about them!
I look forward to serving as the 2025 Moore Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, and I hope you take advantage of all that Moore has to offer!

FOUNDATION IMPACT FOR 2024
Leadership Moore
Leadership Moore is a transformative program designed to develop local leaders by exploring key community topics such as government affairs, business development, education, and the non-profit sector. Participants build relationships, enhance leadership skills, and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the Moore community to drive positive change.
• Pay it Forward - $3,000 Disaster Assistance sent to Oklahoma Communities.
• Raised over $22,000 in supplies and donations for the Fill the Bus Campaign. New for 2024, donations included over $1,000 to the Moore Norman Technology Center’s Food Pantry. Supply deliveries were made to 31 Moore Public School campuses and Moore Youth and Family Center.
• Leadership Moore graduated 24 members in 2023-2024 Class, and welcomed 22 members to the 2024-2025 Class.
• Established an endowment as well as a scholarship fund.
Grillstock is the metro’s only Kansas City Barbeque Society-sanctioned state championship BBQ event, drawing top-tier BBQ teams from across the country, including participants from as far as California and Indiana. This exciting event attracts pitmasters, food lovers, and families for a weekend of intense competition and community fun. In addition to the BBQ competition, Grillstock features live music performances, food trucks, local vendors, and a range of family-friendly activities. Attendees can participate in the People’s Choice competition and enjoy the thrilling Guns and Hoses BBQ competition. With its vibrant atmosphere and rich local flavor, Grillstock has become a mustattend event for anyone who loves great food and entertainment. In 2025, Grillstock will bring new and expanded opportunities to increase event awareness, making it an even bigger celebration of BBQ culture, music, and community pride.
NEW FOR 2025
Shopping Local Rebate Programs
The Moore Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce two exciting initiatives designed to support local businesses and encourage the community to shop and dine locally this season. The Jingle & Save Rebate Program and the Eat Local Earn Local Restaurant Week Rebate Program are here to offer rewards for supporting Moore Chamber member restaurants and retailers.
Eat Local Earn Local Restaurant Week Rebate Program
In the new year, the Eat Local Earn Local Restaurant Week Rebate Program will run from April 3 to April 13. For every $50 spent at participating Moore Chamber member restaurants, you’ll earn a $10 gift card back to the restaurant you supported. Submissions will be accepted until April 14, with gift cards sent out by April 18. Like the Jingle & Save program, funds are limited, so act quickly!
Jingle & Save Rebate Program
Kick off the holiday season by shopping and dining locally! The Jingle & Save Rebate Program will run from November 28 to December 7, rewarding participants with a $10 gift card for every $50 spent at Moore Chamber member restaurants or retail establishments. You can submit up to $250 in receipts, earning up to $50 in gift cards. All receipts must be submitted by December 8, and gift cards will be sent out by December 12. Program funds are limited, so be sure to submit receipts as soon as possible.
Program Rules and Limitations for Both Programs:
• Weekly Limit: $50 in rebates per household (up to $250 in receipts).
• Receipt Requirements: Receipts must be from Moore Chamber member businesses and include the date and time of purchase. Multiple receipts may be combined to meet the $50 minimum, but each receipt must be from a Moore Chamber member.
• Eligible Purchases: Dine-in, takeout, delivery (direct from the restaurant, no third-party services), and gift card purchases (excluding gift card usage for payment). Grocery purchases are excluded.
• Submission Deadline: Receipts must be submitted by midnight on Monday following the event. For the Eat Local Earn Local program, this is April 14; For the Jingle & Save program, this is December 8.
• Rebate Availability: Rebates are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. No further rebates can be guaranteed once program funds are depleted.
How You Can Support Local Businesses:
• Enjoy a meal at participating restaurants, whether dine-in, to-go, or delivery directly from the business.
• Purchase gift certificates or gift cards for yourself or as gifts for others.
• Pay it forward by buying a meal or gift card for someone in need.
CommUNITY Coffee
These informal gatherings with the Moore Chamber of Commerce hosted at area businesses and organization are geared to foster connection and open dialogue among local community members. These events are designed to bring together residents, business owners, and city leaders to discuss important topics, share ideas, and build relationships in a relaxed setting. Held at local coffee shops or businesses, the goal of commUNITY Coffee is to strengthen the sense of community while supporting local establishments. Whether discussing business development, community initiatives, or just getting to know one another, these events provide a platform for engagement and collaboration. These events are an essential way to enhance communication, encourage civic involvement, and continue building a stronger, more united Moore community. OPEN TO FOR THE PUBLIC TO ATTEND.
Additional Highlights from
We partnered with the Norman and South Oklahoma City Chambers for two impactful events, bringing together members from across Cleveland County to hear from Governor Kevin Stitt and U.S. Senator James Lankford. Attendees gained valuable insights on key issues, fostering collaboration and strengthening community connections across the region.
LEFT: The Moore Chamber hosted a Marketing Workshop, led by local professionals, to help attendees grow their “green thumb in marketing.”
RIGHT: The Candidate Meet and Greet at First United Bank provided an excellent opportunity for voters to connect with candidates running for county and state offices, ensuring a more informed electorate.
KOCO ON THE ROAD:
The Chamber along with the City and Moore Public Schools had the privilege of hosting KOCO on the Road for an exciting day of community highlights. The event included a tour of the Moore High Career and College Center, showcasing the city’s commitment to education and workforce development. The crew then visited JR’s BBQ for some local flavor and continued on to Simple Modern, where they were treated to branded mugs. The day concluded with a local business expo, where KOCO broadcasted live on location, giving local businesses a chance to shine. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase Moore’s vibrant community and businesses!
