Art Winstead, CPA | Director of A&A
As the Director of A&A for CPAmerica, Art assists with the COE discussion forum, provides ongoing analysis on various standards updates, and is an inestimable resource for member suggestions or requests for A&A services. After 47 years working with DMJPS PLLC where is was a General Services Partner and Senior Consultant. He served as team captain and team member for on-site peer reviews and off-site engagement reviews throughout the country and North Carolina. Art is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Forensic (CFF), and holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He has served a three-year term on the AICPA Auditing Standards Board, served on numerous A&A AICPA related Task Forces and committees,13 years on the North Carolina Board of CPA Examiners (NCBOE) NASBA Board of Directors and numerous NASBA Committees. A consulting and testifying expert witness on accounting, auditing, and financial matters, Art’s clients have included state and federal government agencies, Not for Profit Organizations, for profit companies, employee benefit plans and major law firms.
