Art Winstead, CPA | Director of A&A
As the Director of A&A for CPAmerica, Art assists with the COE discussion forum, provides ongoing analysis on various standards updates, and is an inestimable resource for member suggestions or requests for A&A services. Art has more than 45 years of experience with DMJPS PLLC, where he is now a Partner and Senior Consultant, after retiring as general services Partner in 2021. He serves as team captain and team member for on-site peer reviews and off-site engagement reviews throughout the country and North Carolina. Art is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Forensic (CFF), and holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He has served a three-year term on the AICPA Auditing Standards Board, in addition to serving 12 years on the North Carolina Board of CPA Examiners (NCBOE). A consulting and testifying expert witness on accounting, auditing, and financial matters, Art’s clients have included state and federal government agencies and major law firms.
