Consent Agenda Call for Hearings 1. Call for Public Hearing to consider the new Boundary Line Adjustment Ordinance scheduled for April 16, 2024, at 9:45 a.m.

Call for Bids 2. Call for Bids for the Purchase of 11,305 tons of Aggregate for Bituminous Surface Treatment scheduled for April 24, 2024, prior to 1:30 p.m.

3. Call for Bids for Furnishing of Various Road Surfacing Materials from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025, scheduled for April 24, 2024, prior to 1:30 p.m.

4. Call for Bids for the Slide Creek Road Realignment Project scheduled for May 1, 2024, prior to 1:30 p.m.

Agreements/Contracts/Bid Awards 5. Contract Amendment 24-009(1) with Emergency Support Shelter to update contract language to allow the County flexibility in the funding source. The contract will continue to provide funding to connect households who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless with community resources, housing options, and needed support service through Coordinated Entry. The cost of reimbursement will not exceed $35,000.00, for the period January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.

6. Contract Amendment 24-007(1) with Cowlitz Family Health Center to update contract language to allow the County flexibility in the funding source. The contract will continue to provide funding to connect households who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless with community resources, housing options, and needed support services through Coordinated Entry. The cost of reimbursement will not exceed $53,548.00, for the period January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.

7. Contract Amendment 24-008(1) with Community House on Broadway to update contract language to allow the County flexibility in the funding source. The contract will continue to provide funding to connect households who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless with community resources, housing options, and needed support services through Coordinated Entry. The cost reimbursement will not exceed $53,568.00, for the period January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.

8. Personal Services Agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc. for Material Testing Services. The total contract work will not exceed $100,000.

9. Cowlitz County's Letter of Assurance for the continued operation of the Accessible Communities Advisory Committee (ACAC).

Resolutions 10. Revised CRP No. 795 and Call for Bids for the Hazel Dell Road Slide Project No. 1772 to stabilize the roadway by installing a retaining wall that is 90 feet long. The Call for Bids is scheduled for May 1, 2024, prior to 1:30 p.m.

Motion Items Health and Human Services 12. Contract # 24-010 with Emergency Support Shelter to provide funding to support shelter operations for individuals who are at risk due to domestic violence and/or fleeing violence and abuse. The cost reimbursement will not exceed $150,000.00, for the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.

All matters listed with the Consent Agenda were previously distributed to each Board Member for reading and study, were available for public viewing, are considered items of regular County business, and will be approved, without separate discussion, by one motion of the Board of County Commissioners. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and voting at the request of any Board Member.

The Board of Commissioners may add and take action on other items not listed on this Agenda.   
