Consent Agenda Agreements/Contracts/Bid Awards 1. Amendment to Contract No. K12178 with the Washington State Corrections to extend the period of performance through June 30, 2023, and to amend the per diem rate to an increase of 5% each year. The per diem rate is $98.91 per Department offender/per day from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, and $103.85 from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.

RCW 42.30.040 - Conditions of attendance not to be required. All matters listed with the Consent Agenda were previously distributed to each Board Member for reading and study, were available for public viewing, are considered items of regular County business, and will be approved, without separate discussion, by one motion of the Board of County Commissioners. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and voting at the request of any Board Member.

The Board of Commissioners may add and take action on other items not listed on this Agenda.   

David Feldman Department: Information Technology Job Title: Database/Programmer Specialist

“Janette recently took over management of the spray shop and has appeared to make it her own. She has worked with her counterparts in various road shops and districts to establish a database of areas that need treatment. I have had the opportunity to work with her as the Diking Engineer & W/S Manager and when she started, she sat down with me to determine the areas we needed sprayed. As she progressed through the season, she checked in with me to verify the areas were being treated appropriately and any areas that we didn't initially consider. This has minimized the amount of mowing and vegetation management required around the reservoirs, pump stations and levees.”
