Fitness First Pilot
CoverMe have been working with 5 sites across the Fitness First Estate (TMS, The Strand, Balham, Highbury and Baker Street), this has been a successful pilot where we have shown success across the sites and met the following objectives:
1.Improve efficiencies of group exercise management, cover, and communication.
The platform’s centralized scheduling, automated instructor matching for cover, and integrated messaging streamline managemen t and ensure communication is timely and effective.
2. Raise and maintain standards of mandatory compliance documents.
CoverMe automates compliance checks for certifications, insurance, and other mandatory documents, ensuring that only complian t instructors are approved and active on the platform.
3. Improve standards of group exercise delivery to members.
By matching instructors based on qualifications and experience, CoverMe ensures that members receive high-quality group exercise sessions, meeting Fitness First’s delivery standards.
4. Improve and maintain standards of prerequisite qualifications for teaching.
The platform verifies qualifications during onboarding, ensuring instructors meet the criteria for specific disciplines before being approved.
5. Reduce the number of hours spent on timetable management by Fitness Manager.
Automated scheduling and instructor matching significantly reduce the time spent by Fitness Managers on timetables, allowing them to focus on other strategic priorities.
6. Identify where recruitment of certain Group Exercise disciplines is required.
Detailed reporting and analytics highlight gaps in instructor availability for specific disciplines, enabling targeted recrui tment efforts.

Phase 1: All London sites within the FF estate (16 sites)
Phase 2: Remaining sites in the estate across the UK (8 sites)
