JULY 2019

c o l l a b o r at i o n | c o m m u n i t y | p r o f i c i e n cy | s a f e t y | d e d i c at i o n | e xc e l l e n c e | This year has proven thus far to be a year of sustainability for companies in the oil and gas industry. As new challenges arise, there must be alterations made from within to hold steadfast, realign, and maintain the proper course. Achieving this does not come easy. It involves the combined actions of a group of people working together effectively to achieve a set goal. Each of us have our own obstacles and hurdles that we must overcome. These challenges that we face are frequently similar in our work and life balances. I have learned that when you surround yourself with good people it will challenge you to reflect who you want to be. It is contagious. The atmosphere here at Covenant is not your typical workplace. The collaboration that we have intertwined within our organization surpasses any other team that I have been a part of. As the saying goes, “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Covenant’s standing as the nation’s largest well flow management company has been made possible by our team, whether you are in the field, shop or office. Growth is never by mere chance. It’s the forces working together. Quality and service excellence are imperative to maintain optimum market share. This is not feasible without the proper people in place. I have seen regions and divisions work together to get the job done, no matter the time of day or week. I am proud to be a part of the Covenant team. I want to thank each of you for the day in and day out dedication that you give to make this possible. It is more appreciated than you know. The days and nights away from family are very taxing. As we continue to strive to have the leading edge, I would like to challenge each of you to continue to push yourselves to the next level. Take one day at a time, focus on engaging each core value, apply it daily, and we will be unbeatable as a team.

specialist, southern Division - west texas Jonathan is one of the hardest working supervisors that we have, managing one of our most highly active client accounts. He consistently goes above and beyond, not only for the company, but also for his men in the field. He always gets the job done safely and efficiently.

Thank you Jonathan for all of your hard work! the iron crew - louisiana

The iron crew has a huge responsibility, from receiving iron from every location, inspecting each piece, to washing and painting the items that made it through inspection. They load all iron for each job in the field, and make sure each piece is in date and they document each serial number for our record keeping. They have situated the yard in such a manner that even a person with very little knowledge of what we do can easily go out and know where each large piece of equipment came from and give account for all short and long iron as they are positioned on racks that were fabricated in our shop. They work long, hot, summer days and plenty of cold, rainy, winter nights as well. The elements make no difference as the job has to be done.

Thank you for a job well done men. You guys make it happen!

Sophia Kinney was born to Southern Division Field Analyst Stan Kinney and wife Laura in June.

Northern Division Production Operator 1 Derek Stephenson and wife Isabella welcomed a baby girl.

Bella, daughter to Jennifer McCoy, Administrative Assistant in the Sibley office, was looking #CovenantStrong in her CTT gear while baby brother Lanny cheers her on.

BRIAN INCHES Brian is CTT’s North Dakota District Manager. As a native, born and raised in North Dakota, it was a natural fit for Brian Inches to oversee the expansion of Covenant operations into the Bakken. Joining Covenant with over 20 years of sales experience under his belt, Brian was tasked with growing the North Dakota team. the team now has 32 employees! “I joined Covenant, because I wanted to be part of something special. The guys I hired have bought into the idea of growing and being part of something bigger than themselves. It’s really fun to see them growing into leaders. I couldn’t do it without them.”

Brian will be celebrating 24 years of marriage in September and has two daughters. On days off, you can probably find him ice fishing or deer hunting with his “hunt and fish buddy” (his younger daughter). He says that people call his state “North Dakota Nice” due to how friendly people are. Brian says there are four seasons there: ice, snow, blizzard and scorching hot summer, and that even though temps range anywhere from 100+ in the summer to -50 in the winter, he loves calling North Dakota home.
