Starting out, though, can be tricky. There’s a requirement for project managers to understand the project management process, and often employers want to see you’ve undertaken some training on this. A particular request is often that you have Prince2 (Projects in controlled environments) qualifications. Prince2 is one of the most widely adopted global project management systems, so any knowledge you can demonstrate on this is going to stand you in good stead. Taking an online business course in Prince2 is a good way to show that you know the system.

Prince2 Online Courses Prince2 can be used across industries and is essentially a system of going from beginning, middle, to end through a series of processes to ensure you meet all the project’s needs.

Our Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner Course is a comprehensive course with two exams at the end which will really test your learning. You’ll cover all the different areas of Prince2; from business case, quality and organisation to plans, risk, change and progress. The course will take you through all of the processes involved; the starting and directing of a project through to the closing of a project. In the Practitioner section, you’ll go into more detail about initiating a project, directing it through delivery and closing it down through the final delivery process. The live interactive online course lasts for a year, but you can of course complete it in your own time.

Prince2 without exam To be Prince2 qualified, you need to take the above exam, but if you’re just interested in project management, want to learn the skills, and don’t want to complete an exam, you can complete the same course without it.
