On page two you will find a list of polling locations for Gooding, Lincoln, and Camas counties. Remember: you must have a photo ID to vote. In addition to the primary election, three of our area school districts will be holding supplemental levy elections. Those school districts and the amounts they are asking for are: Wendell School District: Two-year, $155,000 annual levy. Shoshone School District: Two-year, $300,000 annual levy. Richfield School District: Two-year, $225,000 annual levy.

To fulfill that craving, Shoshone now has a new coffee shop at 102 North Greenwood (north of the railroad tracks and west of Valley Co-op). Bay Horse & Company opened their doors last Tuesday serving cookies, muffins, daily lunch specials, and... COFFEE! Their hours are 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. For now they are closed on Sunday. If you are a rodeo aficionado, you probably know (or have seen) the young proprietor of this coffee house, Treece McClintic. When she is not make sandwiches or brewing coffee, she is training horses for barrel racing with her other business - Another Bay Horse - and traveling around the rodeo circuit. This is not the first time Treece has been in Treece, and her dad, food service. She grew up helping her parents, pause for a photo before Pat & Sandy Battles, run the Main Street Cafe going back to work at in Homedale. Bay Horse Coffee House. For those of you who need to be careful about what you eat, Bay Horse Coffee House serves gluten-free products from another Shoshone business - Susan Sweet’s Gluten & Sugar Free Bakery. Make sure to try a Ham & Cheese Muffin - They’re GREAT!

Gooding Community Helps Boy with Cancer Over the last couple of months, several fundraising events have been put on to help Sheri and Randy Basterrechea with medical and travel expenses for one of their 4-year-old twin sons who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. This Saturday, May 12th, a Zumbathon will be held the Gooding Recreation Center Gym (212 14th Ave.
