News New Life at Gooding Greenhouse

Out on the east side of Gooding sat a collection of old greenhouses with broken glass and tall weeds. After more than a decade of neglect, what was once a state-of-the-art facility had become nothing more than distant memories. Then, a couple of years ago, Keith Balmer drove by the dilapidated property and saw the potential of bringing the greenhouses back to life. Next Friday and Saturday, April 29th & 30th, you are invited to the Grand Opening of Floral Avenue Gardens at 1891 Floral Avenue

in Gooding. To get there take 10th Avenue East (just south of North Valley Academy) to Oregon Street, jog north to 9th Avenue East, and travel about a half a mile (just past the cemetery). It’s hard to miss. The owners hope to make

“Spring Festival 2016” an annual event to help support local non-profit organizations. This year they are supporting RELAY FOR LIFE. This will be a great opportunity to see the fruits of their labors, and to do some spring plant shopping. On Saturday, April 30th, the Gooding Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting for the new business at noon. Come help welcome Keith Balmer and his son, Eli, the the Gooding Business Community. ---
