Gooding Skatepark on Track for this Summer Armed Robbery office at the fairgrounds to give input on the design of the park. Dreamland Skateparks, the designer/builder, has built big and small skateparks all over the United States and even in Europe. Mention a Dreamland park, and skateboarders will come from hundreds of miles to try it out. Based out of Oregon, they have built over a half dozen park in Idaho including Buhl, Jerome, and the 21,000 square foot facility in Hailey, Idaho. The folks at the design meeting were truly excited to have Dreamland on this project, and everyone agreed that whatever the design, it will be great. Even so, the owners of Dreamland, Mark Scott and his wife Danyel, wanted to hear ideas and design elements that would make this park unique to Gooding. Press Release Gooding Police On December 15, 2014, at approximately 8:44 p.m., three male subjects entered the Steve’s Quick Service located in the 600 Block of Main Street and committed an Armed Robbery. Two of the males appeared to have been armed with handguns. The clerk was held at gun point by the two males, while the third male took undisclosed items. All three subjects had their faces covered with masks. All three males exited the store and left westbound on foot. The clerk was then able to call 911 and responding Officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. The Gooding Police Department is following up on several leads and asks that anyone who may have seen anything contact them immediately at 208-934-8436.

of Rocks, Deadhorse Cave, and the River Wall. Other ideas included cowboys, the railroad, and Mrs. Scott mentioned that incorporating skatable artwork is becoming very popular. The city’s Public Works Director, Todd Bunn, said that the park will be more than just a skatepark. It will have picnic tables and places to just sit and watch the fun. He added that while all the funds are available to complete this project (grants, etc.), people can still contribute to the project which will allow the city to do those extra things to make the park special. At long last, the wait is almost over for Gooding skateboarders. A world class skatepark is in the final design phase of being built just north of the high school. For the last several years, the City of Gooding has been working to build a skatepark for the community, and earlier this month, city, community leaders, and skateboarders gathered at the University Extension
