Police Growing Wild Manes

Camas County School’s Music Department Presents:

Christmas Sleigh Ride Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m.

With all the winter weather, we hope you are behaving yourself as you drive through our various towns. If not, and you happen to meet one of our finest, he could be could be sporting an addition to his usual uniform. During the month of December, the Gooding Police Department is allowing officers to grow beards. If they choose to do so, each officer will pay a $25 fee and be allowed to break policy for one month. This money will be used to help bring Christmas to a less fortunate local family. Members of the community can support this program by sponsoring an officer. Come by the Police Department (308 5th Avenue West), choose the officer you would like to support for this great cause, and help give someone a little hope during this holiday season. Donations will be accepted until December 18, 2015. Be sure to visit their Facebook page - GoodingCityPolice.

Purchasing a brick will not only leave a lasting legacy for generations to come, but will help with the funding for the critically needed new roof so future damage to the interior of the theatre (hand painted canvases and historical moldings) will cease as well as allow restoration on the inside to begin. The personalized bricks are available in two sizes – 8 x 4, selling for $50 with 3 personalized lines and 8 x 8 selling for $100 with 6 continued on page 5.....
