being called the “Touchdown Catch of the Year” by Gooding Senior Clancy Cockerham. About half way through the 3rd quarter, with the score at 35 to 7, quarterback Wyatt Williams shot off a short quick pass from the ten yard line to
connect with Cockerham who made a fantastic onehanded TD reception. There is a possibility that Emmett will be moved back up to the 2A division next year. If so, the Senators may have a good shot at the championship in 2016.
Cold and snowy conditions are expected in Southeast Oregon and Southwest Idaho Tuesday night through Thanksgiving Day as a storm comes in from the Gulf of Alaska. The storm center is expected to track south through Oregon, then east into Nevada. With that track... significant amounts of snow are possible in Oregon, and in Owyhee and Twin Falls counties. Only light snow is expected north of the snake basin in Idaho. Colder air will come in Thanksgiving Day through the weekend and any snow that does fall is likely to stay. As for return travel on the weekend, the situation is not yet clear, as some forecast projections have snow re-developing over Idaho and southeast oregon while others have none. For safe travel prepare a winter weather travel kit and keep it in your car. Also travel with appropriate tires or carry chains for unexpected road conditions along your route.
